    "Name: Chameleos (オオナズチ)
    Title: Mist Dragon (霞龍)
    Average Length: 1993cm - 2000cm or more
    Order: Elder Dragon
    Suborder: Unknown
    Infraorder: Mist Dragon
    Family: Chameleos
Habitats: Verdant Hills, Marshlands, Jungle, Ancestral Steppe, Primal Forest, Everwood, Ruined Pinnacle"
"Chameleos is a peculiar elder dragon that is well known amongst the public but rarely ever seen. Due to this monster's many odd abilities, it was extremely difficult for organizations, including the Royal Paleontology Scriveners, to study it in the past."
"Nowadays, studies on Chameleos have progressed considerably, and researchers are starting to better understand this mysterious elder dragon."
"Like most elder dragons, Chameleos has appeared in a few legends and folktales. In one fairy tale, it is said that a person will disappear if they invoke this elder dragon's anger. Some parents tell their kids this old tale to get them to behave."
"Chameleos is known as the "Mist Dragon" due to its ability to become invisible, allowing it to blend into the background of its environment. For a while, it was unknown how Chameleos was capable of such an ability."
"One researcher was able to get a skin sample of the elder dragon in the field and performed several experiments on it. This person tried using fire and sprinkling water on the sample, but the skin didn't respond to either."
"One day while working on other things in the lab, the researcher accidentally dropped an electro sac onto the sample, and there was a response. The shock from the sac caused the Chameleos skin to suddenly change color."
"From the skin responding to electricity, it was theorized that Chameleos has an electro sac, or similar organs, in its body that it flushes with bodily fluids to change the appearance and color of its skin, allowing it to conceal itself in plain sight by becoming transparent."
"It was also theorized that Chameleos may have special metallic properties in its blood and that it uses an electro sac, or similar organ, to produce electric shocks that'll lower the reflectance of sunlight and such, allowing it to become more transparent in appearance."
"As of now, no electro sacs or similar organs have ever been found inside of a Chameleos. Researchers have various theories on how Chameleos is able to become invisible. "
"More recently, it's considered likely that Chameleos uses weak electrical currents in its skin that interact with a mist that it breathes from its mouth, which bends the light around the elder dragon, thus rendering it effectively invisible."
"While some researchers were studying Chameleos out in the field, they soon found out that, despite its quirky appearance, this monster is quite intelligent."
"For an unspecified amount of time during their expedition, all sorts of items (Medicine, food, research instruments, etc.) began to disappear from their custody. When researchers finally realized that all of their items were gone, they were forced to end their expedition early."
"Although Chameleos isn't a very territorial monster, it doesn't like other creatures in its domain. Chameleos has a long stretchy tongue that it uses for snatching up prey, but it also uses that appendage to steal items from unsuspecting humans."
"It knows that certain items are important to humans, so it'll steal whatever it thinks is vital to a person. Chameleos does this to make people lose motivation in pursuing it (Many hunters may stop trying to hunt it if it steals something valuable from them like a Max Potion)."
"If stealing items isn't enough to make a person give up on chasing Chameleos, it'll use its deadly poison against a threat."
"The poison of a Chameleos varies depending on their habitat and the food available in their environment (That's the reason why the 2nd Gen Chameleos and 4th Gen Chameleos are so different from one another. We could technically call the 4th Gen Chameleos a subspecies)."
"Chameleos makes its poison by combining its own body fluids with whatever it eats."
"When Chameleos (2nd Gen) flaps its wings, it'll often leave behind clouds of poison on the ground. This poison will slowly drain the health of prey and threats alike. It's also capable of breathing a liquid from its mouth that rapidly drains the stamina of other creatures."
"The moment this liquid comes in contact with the body's sugars, it'll become lactic acid. The acid will cause severe fatigue to the body. The gas from this liquid can paralyze the vocal cords of humans, preventing people from speaking."
"Chameleos (4th Gen) can breathe large clumps of poison out of its mouth that'll explode into a toxic mist that is dangerous to inhale."
"It can also breathe a misty poison out of its mouth that can cover a whole area in mist. By using a specialized organ in its body, Chameleos (4th Gen) can spray its poison in a misty form with the help of ultrasonic vibrations."
"The mist it breathes also contains a hallucinogenic poison, causing anything that inhales the toxins to see things and believe that Chameleos (4th Gen) really disappeared in thin air."
"Since Chameleos (4th Gen) specializes in poison, it has a high resistance against all sorts of poisons. This monster doesn't stay paralyzed for very long."
"Chameleos's tail has an odd shape that resembles a leaf. It uses its tail to detect potential danger behind it when it isn't looking back or fully aware of its surroundings. Some also believe that its tail contains the body fluids that it uses to become transparent."
"Within Chameleos's horn is a special organ that allows the elder dragon to become invisible. The organ is severely damaged once the horn is broken, meaning Chameleos can no longer completely conceal itself in plain sight. "
"Because of Chameleos's amazing camouflage, no one was ever able to give a proper description of the monster in the past since its body was concealed most of the time. These are thought to be a few early depictions of this mysterious elder dragon."
"Recently, it was found that Chameleos has a close relative known as Namielle, the Abyssal Dragon.
    Order: Elder Dragon
    Suborder: Unknown
    Infraorder: Abyssyal Dragon
    Family: Namielle"
