Had the same bait happen to me on my alt account, but, then it went purple, got a Danjin, then it went gold again, got Jiyan too, all in the second 10 pull of the account, with the 20 apology pulls. Insane.
If you look on the bottom right corner you can see an additional icon with a key to press. You just have to press that key on your keyboard and it will trigger the echo skill.
I like her but most of her kit just makes her sit there with the long animation even the charge too, unless if you can dodge cancel it she's gonna get hit if she missed

How do you use or transform into an echo? Is there a button for that? Or it's automatic to use their skills base on how you equipped them?

You want to swap to you subDps when using her charge attack. This way Encore wont take damage while she is charging.
