I play genshin but I'm more interested in ww because of kuro's previous game, punishing gray raven, which is another audience they're drawing in. They had multiple people active in the pgr community work appear in interviews and dev discussions. I also doubt all those players will leave, especially when there is a not insignificant amount of people who are just tired of genshin in general. No one is getting "destroyed" here, and you don't need to ride genshin as if they're your gods.

I remember commenting on your video about auto-collect. I didn't expect them to implement it since it's a small thing and would make their hold-to-collect feature obsolete.

With how hard and fast they are working i have no doubts the game could be releasing in may 31. Fixing the main concern about Echoes is just a matter of tweaking numbers, and the rest of stuff probably already got adressed as the CBT2 build is not the lastest version, the lastest version is called DevKit and its never given to anyone for obvious reasons. They still have time to polish the game, and it is not like if live service games couldnt get QoLs after release

localization is honestly my main concern, even if they mention that its important to them, looking at PGR's localization, im not sure how hopeful i can really be like its passable there, but far from 'good', with some names of abilities being wrong or wrongly referenced, awkwardness in some text and some textboxes just not having all text in them because of english sentences being longer than cn ones and i hope this wont be the same
They'll probably put more effort into WW's localization since they're releasing it simultaneously in all regions and marketing it so heavily. Can't afford to be as sloppy as they are in PGR global.

This is all great to hear. Also, I'd recommend everyone here check out Blanc and Phantomloxx's discussion on cbt2 since they were very critical and not pleased at all. They're ogs too who played the hell out of it, so they're not some random haters. Everyone is very happy with Wuwa, so seeing those who aren't from people who played the game is hard to come by. It can give a different perspective and I think that's important for the health of the game.
WW needs the optimization magician that PGR has been hiding all these years 😂. what i'm assuming is that echoes will be tradable in events ala memories in PGR. if the tradable echoes through events have predetermined properties like both the echo element and set element are similar, plus the main stat, it will be a huge reduction in RNG already. farming echoes in the overworld will still be viable even if just for fodder, plus the chance for a shiny. while farming using waveplates will then be for tuners and mats.
Im glad my complain with the battle camera is heard.. I didnt get to play all the modes during the CBT2 because of school, so i only focused on that one camera problem and made a video about it, and hopefully Kuro will make better camera system later.. The way the camera keeps correcting itself made me die to stray bullets numbers of times in Cliffs, mob battle, Challange domain, and Towers even if they have Enemy Attack Indicator flashing red and white.. but who can pay attention to smth that small when enemies in this game are fierce...
I hope they bring back the cbt 1 Crownless's cutscenes and his aura it was truly peak now he looks like any other empty boss + i want them to bring back the idea of suprising cutscenes in the middle of a boss fight not every one but the bosses that had an impact in story like crownless fight in technical test it feels like ur watching an anime
They hit all the right boxes. It's still a casino masquared as a videogames but I'm glad They at least listen. Can't wait to jump the ship from genshin. 10:00 they should make that the UI goes invisible when you're roaming, not fighting.
my biggest complaint about genshin is everyone attacks in the same pattern, save for (some) skills, and left their characters feeling boring. the lvl up system for the characters being in certain places of areas also was a awful thing, i don’t know if it’s been fixed since, i’ve stopped for two years now. Shinobu was the last straw for me as her signature weapon was a whip blade however her attacks was just a generic sword attack. Another thing i had an issue with was the shitty weapon placement, you can clearly see some characters “sheathing” their weapons away like a samurai, but then it disappears and goes on your back for no reason, it really threw off the feel of a character. From what i’ve seen of WuWa is a lot of unique fighting styles that makes each character feel a lot more different from other characters which is already a huge pro over Genshin for me 😅
Im glad they're gonna fix and improve the echoes and fix the bug/glitch when you are fighting against a boss that suddenly disappear. improve the camera positioning/angle and will Also improve the cut scene's also the issue with Mobile players such as fps drop overheating issue and Adding auto-collect so when farming for items would be much easier and faster and convenient

they solved a core problem that genshin didn't solve (on purpose) for 3 years where chest drops would roll down cliffs and fall in water etc. even before the game is coming out. this is proof that they aren't going to sit on the feedback eggs people leave in survey and beta testing and use it for future games and wait many years until people start to get tired. Also, mark my words, genshit will also add auto collect option from chests in the near future when they see these features are being added in other similar games. they are cunning like that.
I hope they address the echo exp issue, it's so little, even at Union Level 40. It'd take like 7 runs (280 wavematter) to get 1 5* echo to +25. It's insanely low. And the echo grind was fine, except for the 3*, they were VERY scarce, only like 4 - 6 spawns per day.
Kuro fr is cooking,they already show so much Love for Players in PGR. And now they do it with WW too,they really try&listen. I dont think that will change,even after WW gets released.

You are mad about the characters being dressed differently than genshin, Kuro puts effort into things unlike Hoyo who had not once almost doomed themselves over poor rewards for players time spent on the game, while Kuro yeets free character selectors. ZZZ doesnt have THAT much more preregs than WuWa, ZZZ has around 33mil while WuWa has 26mil by now. WW uses different mechanics than Genshin to fight, mostly taken from PGR, if you are only interested in Genshin or HOYO games for "waifus" or anime boys then you gotta understand that some people want characters with actual good looks, and not that much revealing clothes and etc, How kuro makes their characters shows they put effort into them, while genshin made everything colorfull like cocomelon.
Wuwa : figures out that drops with physics will be problematic in beta Genshin : 3 years in, they'll surely figure this out eventually... From what people are saying apparently these echo changes won’t fix everything but they fix most of the issues with it so that’s fine. Even then it’s likely the devs will continue to improve it even after release

I play genshin but I'm more interested in ww because of kuro's previous game, punishing gray raven, which is another audience they're drawing in. They had multiple people active in the pgr community work appear in interviews and dev discussions. I also doubt all those players will leave, especially when there is a not insignificant amount of people who are just tired of genshin in general. No one is getting "destroyed" here, and you don't need to ride genshin as if they're your gods.
Misspellings are pretty on-brand. That's how we know the response is genuine.

I remember commenting on your video about auto-collect. I didn't expect them to implement it since it's a small thing and would make their hold-to-collect feature obsolete.
The more I played, the more I realised the auto-collect suggestions were so right! Holding to collect all is cool, but not having to press anything is even better. Really glad to see this.

With how hard and fast they are working i have no doubts the game could be releasing in may 31.
Fixing the main concern about Echoes is just a matter of tweaking numbers, and the rest of stuff probably already got adressed as the CBT2 build is not the lastest version, the lastest version is called DevKit and its never given to anyone for obvious reasons. They still have time to polish the game, and it is not like if live service games couldnt get QoLs after release
2 things, but everything else I agree with. First is that the date of the epic games release is may 30(big difference lol), and second is that the devkit is likely being used in korea as part of their "focus group test".

localization is honestly my main concern, even if they mention that its important to them, looking at PGR's localization, im not sure how hopeful i can really be
like its passable there, but far from 'good', with some names of abilities being wrong or wrongly referenced, awkwardness in some text and some textboxes just not having all text in them because of english sentences being longer than cn ones and i hope this wont be the same
They'll probably put more effort into WW's localization since they're releasing it simultaneously in all regions and marketing it so heavily. Can't afford to be as sloppy as they are in PGR global.

This is all great to hear. Also, I'd recommend everyone here check out Blanc and Phantomloxx's discussion on cbt2 since they were very critical and not pleased at all. They're ogs too who played the hell out of it, so they're not some random haters. Everyone is very happy with Wuwa, so seeing those who aren't from people who played the game is hard to come by. It can give a different perspective and I think that's important for the health of the game.

what i'm assuming is that echoes will be tradable in events ala memories in PGR. if the tradable echoes through events have predetermined properties like both the echo element and set element are similar, plus the main stat, it will be a huge reduction in RNG already. farming echoes in the overworld will still be viable even if just for fodder, plus the chance for a shiny. while farming using waveplates will then be for tuners and mats.

I didnt get to play all the modes during the CBT2 because of school, so i only focused on that one camera problem and made a video about it, and hopefully Kuro will make better camera system later..
The way the camera keeps correcting itself made me die to stray bullets numbers of times in Cliffs, mob battle, Challange domain, and Towers even if they have Enemy Attack Indicator flashing red and white.. but who can pay attention to smth that small when enemies in this game are fierce...

I hope they bring back the cbt 1 Crownless's cutscenes and his aura it was truly peak now he looks like any other empty boss + i want them to bring back the idea of suprising cutscenes in the middle of a boss fight not every one but the bosses that had an impact in story like crownless fight in technical test it feels like ur watching an anime

my biggest complaint about genshin is everyone attacks in the same pattern, save for (some) skills, and left their characters feeling boring. the lvl up system for the characters being in certain places of areas also was a awful thing, i don’t know if it’s been fixed since, i’ve stopped for two years now. Shinobu was the last straw for me as her signature weapon was a whip blade however her attacks was just a generic sword attack. Another thing i had an issue with was the shitty weapon placement, you can clearly see some characters “sheathing” their weapons away like a samurai, but then it disappears and goes on your back for no reason, it really threw off the feel of a character.
From what i’ve seen of WuWa is a lot of unique fighting styles that makes each character feel a lot more different from other characters which is already a huge pro over Genshin for me 😅

Im glad they're gonna fix and improve the echoes and fix the bug/glitch when you are fighting against a boss that suddenly disappear. improve the camera positioning/angle and will Also improve the cut scene's also the issue with Mobile players such as fps drop overheating issue and Adding auto-collect so when farming for items would be much easier and faster and convenient

they solved a core problem that genshin didn't solve (on purpose) for 3 years where chest drops would roll down cliffs and fall in water etc. even before the game is coming out.
this is proof that they aren't going to sit on the feedback eggs people leave in survey and beta testing and use it for future games and wait many years until people start to get tired.
Also, mark my words, genshit will also add auto collect option from chests in the near future when they see these features are being added in other similar games. they are cunning like that.
I hope they address the echo exp issue, it's so little, even at Union Level 40. It'd take like 7 runs (280 wavematter) to get 1 5* echo to +25. It's insanely low. And the echo grind was fine, except for the 3*, they were VERY scarce, only like 4 - 6 spawns per day.

You are mad about the characters being dressed differently than genshin, Kuro puts effort into things unlike Hoyo who had not once almost doomed themselves over poor rewards for players time spent on the game, while Kuro yeets free character selectors.
ZZZ doesnt have THAT much more preregs than WuWa, ZZZ has around 33mil while WuWa has 26mil by now. WW uses different mechanics than Genshin to fight, mostly taken from PGR, if you are only interested in Genshin or HOYO games for "waifus" or anime boys then you gotta understand that some people want characters with actual good looks, and not that much revealing clothes and etc, How kuro makes their characters shows they put effort into them, while genshin made everything colorfull like cocomelon.

From what people are saying apparently these echo changes won’t fix everything but they fix most of the issues with it so that’s fine. Even then it’s likely the devs will continue to improve it even after release

from what I have seen, capitalized with the Calcharo situation, this game seems to be very high risk maybe no reward/hit or miss, on the good side seems they are willing to listen and fix, on the bad side seems we are starting with a baseline of incredibly retarded anticonsumer corpogreed design on each step that will need to correction afterwards, ARE THEY GOING TO NEED TO FIX EACH THING THEY DO AFTER IMPLEMENTING SOMETHING AWFUL AND COLLECTING FEEDBACK LATER? I'm hype for the game but with much more salt than a just grain
