Easily the best demo of Erbe verb on the net. I wasn't convinced by the reverb sound itself from other demos with this module but this is kinda swaying me.
Thank you for the vid. I'm just getting started learning about modular and ended up here from the DPO page on Modular Grid. It's refreshing to hear something that's not just 180BPM noisy sequences :)
kidkoexist I was going to welcome you to Eurorack but I see this is three years old. I hope you’re not living in a cardboard box now from the expense lol. Cheers 🥂
@@originalfallinggirl Thanks! Learned how to sell modules as I fill my rack, which has kept me from the gutter. Good thing, as here I am again reconsidering the Erbe-Verb.
Nice demo, which is more a creation than a demo only. I like how it goes progressively to kind of spectral abstraction around 6:25 and later. then coming back to 'reality'
HecKler Music Thanks a lot, glad you liked it. Watching jams and performance demo's was how it all started for me HecKler, be careful - watching those vids can be quite addictive an lead to a full-bodied modular. :-)
Oh I know the drug! Literally the only thing stopping me (and pretty much everybody) from having a room full of this stuff is funds, like, right now it's like I'm addicted to some drug and my dealer won't give me any, actually, that's exactly what it is, but instead of drugs, it's synths XD Thanks for the wonderful videos and soundcloud! Also, DO MORE RUclips VIDEOS OF YOUR MODULAR!!! Thanks :3
Nice. It's refreshing to hear modular synth music and not a bunch of noise. I'm getting into modulars, and this is certainly an incentive to keep exploring the sonic worlds behind them knobs. Thanks for sharing.
This is incredible! - beautiful - thanks for such a great vid - a demo that is a breathtaking composition. Can you tell me how much the echophon is involved in this? Is what we're hearing partly also to do with that? Or just the erbe verb? As I'm just starting in the world of modular and thinking of getting a mother 32 , clouds and am looking at this as a possible reverb.Thanks.
+Akashamitra Thank you, I am glad you liked it. There is no Echopon involved. If you look at the Echophon module, notice the Dry / Wet button in the top right of the module it stays at dry all the way through the demo. This demo is pure Erbe-Verb with DPO (the oscillator) plus K4815 (pattern generator) and MI's Ripples (filter).
+Luftrum1 Great - thanks for the reply. I think this vid has convinced me to add this to my first eurorack rig it really is great what you've done in this vid - amazing sound!

Best presentation of erbe-verb on YT! Thank you!
Quite old vid,but i come back sometimes when i said to mself:"i would love to get an Erb Verb".....thanks mr Luftrum!
Very cool demo, made my mind enter some kind of drifting mode.
Awesome! The best Eurorack reverb module.

Stunning! While I can't afford a modular (yet) I love watching videos of them, especially musical demos and jams, this is one of my favorites!

impressive how much movement and tone control there is within this one module, great demonstration, thank you!
..and haven't started with cv inputs!!

Check out State Azure if you haven't yet. :D
Another great video :) looks like I'll have to buy an erbe verb now haha!
Hey thanks a lot! Yeah, Erbe Verb is an essential module for me. :-)
yes i confirm!..i must buy one...(530 euros in France!)
I bought the 2hp Verb then saw this.... looks like I need some more income -.-
This is really very good..I love the fact you make a performance out of just a few modules, great work!
moor hertz Kind of you, thanks.
Yes,the best demo of the erb verb..for once we really can ear and warch what is possible 2 do with it.thank u!
Excellent demo!
I have been looking for a sound demo like this for a while now. This sold me buddy! Thanks !!
You are welcome! Glad you enjoyed it...
@@Luftrum1is the ecophon contributing to the sound at all here?
I just bought the Erbe-verb!
I didn't know what I was missing, until after viewing the vid.
Koffiekop Glad that the video was an inspiration Koffiekop, it's a fantastic module... an essential tool for sure.
This video is out of this world...
Very nice! I'm picking up one tomorrow, excited!
great demo, i prefer these long sound examples.
Your shapes remind me of the back end of some early Autechre albums. :)
Great sound! The other videos I've seen of the EV are not as lush > Good job!
At one point I will get one of these for sure. Until now I always used computer based reverb but that has no cv control of course. Good video!
I find that minimal stuff very inspiring. It´s something that gets lost so easily in such a complex system.
Well done!
wow fantastic sounding.
Sounds great but soooo expensive. I think I’d go for Strymon or Eventide over this. But it does sound heavenly.
Great stuff! Nice demo of the Erbe-Verb. If I didn't have one already, you would have sold me on it. :)
Wow, that's some compliment! Thanks a lot... glad you liked it.
Mmmm nice , thanx for that!
Fantastic demo!!
Thank you!
This one sounds like a dream
Sick!! I need one!

so awesome at 8:50 onward
beautiFULL ...
Mother of God...
So i guess, lr du är fan skyldig mig 5k nu :)
Hoppas den lever upp till förväntningarna.
I just hope someone could code something similar as a Rack Extension or a VST plugin for us non modular musicians...
👍👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿
Man I want this! 😰
6:00-7:35 face melted
Well done!
