Thank you for the good video! I've been having this issue for years. After a reboot, it usually connects to the wifi again, but it's very frustrating when it happens like 8 times on some days. Only complaint: Why is the music so loud? It got so overwhelming, I had to take breaks watching this video, instead of watching it start to finish in one go. Please make sure that the background music stays in the background. This level is extremly stressful for neurodivergent ppl..
8 times a day? I've restarted mine FIFTEEN times today - and it has nothing to do with the BIOS - it doesn't happen on Startup - it can be working fine one minute, then just goes off. Thoroughly p1$$ed off...

Hi Exogen Design, That key combination is to perform a "full shutdown". By default, Windows 10 activates a feature called Fast Startup (Hybrid Shutdown) which can shut down and boot your PC faster than Windows 7 or earlier versions of Windows. When you shut down Windows 10, you are actually in partial hibernation. If you prefer to turn off the PC completely, you can use this key combination.

Seems to me the wireless adaptor provided with my ASUS is weak and/or of poor quality. I have a seven year old MacBook Pro that connects to our wireless router just fine and shows the highest possible connection strength. Right next to it is my new ASUS, which gives me the error message "Can't connect to this network". If I walk about three meters out to the hallway, it will connect, but when I bring it back into my office, it eventually disconnects. Very disappointing, especially considering I shelled out extra money to get their highest performing laptop (16 cores, maximum possible memory, GPU, etc).

Hi Exogen Design,
That key combination is to perform a "full shutdown".

I have an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX506HCB-HN143 laptop. After updating Windows 10 and restarting the laptop, it stops seeing the Wi-Fi list. In a $500 Lenovo laptop, everything worked like clockwork, and a $1,500 Asus laptop had constant problems with Wi-Fi.
Hi Taras,
May I ask if you followed the instructions in the video?
It is recommended that you not only run Wireless Diagnosis in MyASUS but also select the [Power] icon, then press and hold the [Shift] key on the keyboard as well as select [Shut down] at the same time to turn the computer off completely.
@@asus_support Hi Asus support. Yes, I followed the instructions, “diagnosing problems” and a combination of several shutdowns and reboots of the laptop helps to solve the problem. Usually it takes me from 10 minutes to 1 hour to solve a problem with Wi-Fi. It is very infuriating when you need to quickly turn on the laptop and start working, but instead I spend a lot of time solving this problem. I also see that not only I have such a problem with ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX506HCB-HN143 , but also other users.

@@fuyu4546 Hello, on my laptop the problem is solved by multiple "diagnostics of problems" of the network, then by turning off the laptop completely, and after turning it on, a series of reboots using "diagnostics of network problems". All this takes from 10 minutes to 1 hour, each time in different ways. I installed the latest wi-fi driver from the asus website, but this also does not help.

Hi, I have TUF A15 FX506II and just bought last march. I have the problem with the internet connection which is suddenly slowing down when using WiFi connection, even though my phone, etc using same WiFi but the connection is fine, only my laptop got the slow connection. I have tried to disable WiFi on advanced network settings > change adapter options > disable wifi > and enable again, and the problem is fixed. and the next day, I got the same problem again, and repeat the solution again, but do I have to repeat the same thing when the problem occurs again? Please is there any other solution?😭😭
Hi Ryuminix,
Have you tried connecting to other routers? What adapter settings you have changed? May I have the bios version and wifi driver version? Which steps in this video you have done?
Bought a computer for school and can’t even use it for school. It’s honestly a shame that one day it works and the next it doesn’t. Wifi on phone works great on multiple different networks but the computer thinks none of them work 🤷♀️
We recommend uninstalling the wireless network card from the Device Manager and then reinstalling the driver.
If you have followed the above steps but the problem persists, I would suggest you bring back your laptop to our service center for further confirmation.

Please try reinstalling the wireless network card driver and check again.
If the issue persists, I would suggest you bring back your laptop to our service center for further confirmation.
