A lot of hassle with this. Why not put these drivers in the laptop support as well? I managed to find the disks, but still the SSD was on EXT4 format, because the laptop I got from the shop had Linux. It needed NTFS, luckily I deleted the partition (main ssd) and was able to install the windows.

Hi, please assist me. My drivers still fail to show up: IRST protocol did not work (I had to uncheck “hide drives not compatible with this hardware” so maybe that’s an issue). I also don’t see the intel VMD tech option.. I disabled fast boot and secure boot, enabled CSM, USB shows up but no drive found. My original hard drive has been failing to boot for whatever reason so I backed up data and installed a new inland 256gb SSD from microcenter.
    Version 308, VBIOS version 1050.I021Q525UAR.002.

For those with AMD Chipset (mine was 7430U), I downloaded the full version of the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition (it's about 700Mb), extracted its content; copied on a separate folder on the flash drive with the windows installer (I guess it can be separately on another usb stick... I didn't try); then when it was required the driver, instead of iRST, I went to the drivers folder of the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition ... whql-amd-software-adrenalin-edition-24.10.1-win10-win11-oct-rdna\Packages\Drivers and installed from there the first one that appeared (frankly I don't remember the name... something with NVM....). Make sure to uncheck the option to show only compatible drivers. ....Next thing I knew, the windows installation started. Good luck.

This did not work for me. Disabling VMD worked, but then reinstalling Windows, I can't re-enable VMD, or the hard drive won't boot. I'm worried as if this is a good feature, I want it on. I typically like to do a fresh install of Windows on a new laptop so I don't have to deal with all the bloatware. Unfortunately, if I do this, I have to permanently disable VMD. I tried the drivers on ASUS' site, as well as the extracting the drivers via powershell through Intel's site. I've tried loading all of them during a Windows install, but the hard drive still doesn't show up. It's very confusing. Does anyone know how to fresh install Windows with VMD enabled? I'm convinced there's a proper set of drivers that could be loaded out there, they are just not on ASUS' site.

Hi, based on your issue, may I ask have you try to use the .exe versions of the drivers?
Whether you can find the extracted driver files?
Basically, you can still proceed with installing the OS via bootable USB using the .exe versions of the drivers.
It is suggest that you try to replace an USB then confirm whether the issue still remain.
And make sure that download the driver or OS at the official site.
