Disqus integration is nice. However, I think Google Sites now offers an in-house comments widget. Can someone confirm? U would simply add the widget using the editing tools.
Correct. In your site settings you can turn on the comments. I've done a video on this a while back. The settings have since moved but the comments are still there.
@@aufzugskanal7620 It was because of the codes of embed. You should get the link of the page where you add the comments section, then you should paste that link into two parts in the embed codes. You can learn in detail in the video.

Ads by adsense are not supported. Other means of monetization should work. I e linking out to affiliate products or using a different ad company that provides embed codes. You could also directly contact companies to sell ad space on your website if you have enough traffic. However, for a fully monitized website, Google Sites is not an ideal choice and you would be better using a different platforms such as Bluehost+wordpress or wix sethideclercq.com/bluehost or sethideclercq.com/wix)

When I try inserting the disqus and pressing next, it gives a text box that needs to have to boxes checked to continue. And when I try to press them it just brings me back to the code. Please help I need to finish this by tommorrow.
Double check tgat you have all you original settings for embed the way you want on Disqus. Once you have the embed code, make sure you insert (copy-paste) ALL the code into the embed code tab of embed. Not the url tab. Hope this helps.
I have copied it into the embed code part but a text box stating "Important Update" and then two checkboxes that are not checked. When I go to click them the edit pencil is on top of the boxes so i cant actually see the disqus box. @@FlippedClassroomTutorials
I would have a go at using the universal embed code here: help.disqus.com/installation/universal-embed-code make sure you read through everytging and change the code where needed. If that still doesnt work and having a comment section is as urgent as you say. Check out using google groups instead and embedding that.
Nevermind, the box keep asking for me to sign in and i just opened a new browser with the sites and it ended up working. That was weird, but great video anyway! Thanks for the quick response!
There are some that allow for embedding, have tried about 6 different ones now, but I haven't found one that looks and works well with sites. It worked well with desktop browsers. It did not work at all with Android Chrome browser. Disqus did not even show up? I am not sure if I missed something? or anyone even test with mobile browser? thanks

Forms has a way of submittting files, but using Sites as an inageboard is not ideal.

Are you browsers third party cookies enabled? They have to be enabled for the Disqus board to show up.
