Hey...Nice Video...There's an update from Google Sites though on the Image Carousel. You can just open your site, go to the Insert Tab on the right side of your page, and then scroll down a bit so that you can see an option called Image Carousel. Click that, and you will see an option to upload your photos (you can even upload photos using a URL, your Google Drive and you can even search for an image online!). There's also a feature to Auto-Start the Slideshow by clicking the settings button, on the top right. Have fun EXPLORING GOOGLE SITES! BIG THANKS TO FLIPPED CLASSROOM TUTORIALS!

To answer your question, in principle it sgould be possible to make the code dynamic by referencing an external source in the html code. I have personally never done this as using tools such as sheetu and awsometables have always allowed me to embed sheets data in a visually appealing way. I might look into thia over the summer as it sounds like a fun little project to play around with.
Alexander LaCasse Sorry If this is late, but I was also having quite some trouble. A simple solution I had found was turning grammarly off (the chrome extension) if you have it. I hope this helps!

You can, however the portrait photos will have empty space next to them to fill in the blanks. Native carousels are coming soon to slides, so I will make an update when those are available.

When you copy and paste the embed code for a collapsable effect onto the site. How can you insert pictures and text for the body that goes under each title? I am thinking there is not a way to drag and drop. I would have to know how to insert items into the code for it to show up?

You could either manually tweak the html code, but alternatively many websites that teach html might have some demo examples available. The more you understand about the underlying code, the more you can tweak your slideshow.

Hi, this is very interesting but I miss one feature I liked from the old version of Google sites and that is the indice of a page or, at least, I haven't found it. It looks like the embeded feature is easier because in the old version it is impossible to embed things that are not from Google and see them properly.

You certainly can. You will have to copy the oart of the code where you insert the image. Look for the code that repeats itself 3 times ( looks like ) then copy the vlock if cose however many times you want. Hope this makes sense.

And the footer at the bottom says "Made with Google Sites". I particularly don't like that. I imagine you can change the footer within the code, but the domain name has to be in the address bar of the browser, and a favicon image should be placed on the tab for the most professional look. It would just make your content look that much more credible and polished and less amateur-ish feel. I still like the content on your site in spite of all that. Your videos are totally professional quality and the mixes for the songs are quality too. Good job!

They're has to be an easier way to do this... Is this a free builder? Dragging and dropping seems so much easier with other paid builders. Domain names? Favicons? Custom footers? PRODUCT PAGES? Nothing. I have experienced the same thing. Its a case of reducing/optimizing the gif before upload. Otherwise google sites does is automatically and the compression is anything but lossless.

Login pages are not available. The sharing setting or a team drive would be the answer to sharing with small teams.

Once the file is deleted the embed will no longer work.

Tried the slideshow demo features everything is good but when i publish and view on iphone it doesnt show anything.
It does sometime break on mobile using some embed features
Slideshows are now natively supported on sites and those will work anywhere.

If you tweak the html to include text and hyperlinks, it should be possible to have each text link navigate to another page.

Nothing. I have experienced the same thing. Its a case of reducing/optimizing the gif before upload. Otherwise google sites does is automatically and the compression is anything but lossless.

Cards would be made clickable by using link tags have a wuick look online how these work with text and then place your card inside these tags
