@@gonzalo_rosae no there's CS bootcamps. Depending on the bootcamp they can be just as good as a college degree kinda like a tradeschool. My recommendation to anyone maybe thinking of spending the money on a bootcamp i would go for certifications as you'll be able to pay for them the same way a bootcamp works. Its just self taught but that looks more impressive. Now if you're deciding between college and bootcamp. Spend the extra time (it's usually about the same price at the end) and get a degree as it will carry more weight. If you have completed a bootcamp all the more power to you im just giving advice from personal experience. Also your degree is accredited so you can have the possibility of getting it for free if you spend 24/7on scholarships. Linux is more secure because of hard work by the community to keep it that way, not because it's less popular. Large responsible companies use Linux on their servers (Google, RUclips, Netflix, Amazon, etc.), most smartphones use Linux or some variant, even large means of transport in Japan and in various parts of the world use Linux, the New York Stock Exchange systems, airport flight controllers, Lockheed Martin nuclear submarines. It just doesn't make sense what you say. In one sentence, you have just discounted all the hard work that has been done to the Linux kernel to keep it as secure as possible.
Hi Thank you so much..... I'm struggling with words, but in simple I wanna tell you " YOU ARE BEST TEACHER" I ever cross over the RUclips...... No, no it isn't. It contradicts its own advice about using easily guessed personal information for passwords, says 8 character passwords are secure and strong, and even recommends password reuse. Terrible!
Same here, just starting my CS journey....currently half way through the course and will be going for certifications on Coursera to decorate my resume.
Thank you for this clear and crisp understanding of Cyber Security.I am a IT graduate in year 2006 but was not able to have an experience in the IT industry, as i took my career into teaching and other fields. Thanks~!
Hello. I am just getting into cybersecurity. I am going to get the certification and I learning a lot from this course. I will keep going to see how well I do.
I'm a security guard, going to the military with immense hope that I can get into intelligence, then go to a four year in technology and get into a huge security agency. If I can learn cyber security then man my goals will be easier to achieve.
I will start my cybersecurity program next Monday . Watching your videos before my program giving me better idea . Thanks you for your efforts and for your timing . God bless
Thank you very much for sharing this for free. It's really simplified and understandable. What a way to articulate complex things into simple component? Wonderful job. Good luck!
I was gonna go into culinary until I actually worked for a small business that screwed me. Then I realized how much I love computers and boom.. plan B.
A neat trick I was taught was that when you enter your name into a website signing up, put your middle name as the website name so if you get any scam email, you know which site sold your info to a buyer.
Thank you for the simplistic breakdown of cybersecurity. Your introduction had me thinkings of ways to deter cyber criminals immediately. Thank you very much. Keeping one’s system safe; barriers. 👍🏾
I love when a course manages to make me laugh a fair few times! It's really nice and keeps things refreshing! Already laughed like a dozen times and am in the middle, so I've got more to look forward to c:

This was a great course. I have worked on computers for 30 years, and I learned some interesting things on this course. ..... I forgot to say Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video, it helps enormously. i am starting my Msc in Cyber security this fall and this is an amazing start.
As a gen x whose kids have to work the tv remote and printer for, your video is a godsend. This lesson is the first, out many “start and did not finish beyond 45 minutes ” videos I was able to watch to the end and actually enjoyed. Thank you for sharing.
This is brilliantly illustrated in order help understand how the internet actually works. Thanx mate
Thanks man! You explain so clearly than Paid courses
Please any one wanna learn cybersecurity, this s d right place......

Best #cybersecurity course ever!
No, no it isn't. It contradicts its own advice about using easily guessed personal information for passwords, says 8 character passwords are secure and strong, and even recommends password reuse. Terrible!
God bless you sir... I am now in love with cyber security, and i promise to dive more into it from now
This video sparked my interest and is the start of my cyber security journey!

Some ordinary gamers got me intro cyber security. now i wanna pursue it as a career.
I was gonna go into culinary until I actually worked for a small business that screwed me. Then I realized how much I love computers and boom.. plan B.
@@ShoddyLegion that's awesome! i also considered culinary, but I'm pretty sure cyber security will be my career.
Deeply appreciate you taking your time to help others. Good deed, good deed !!!
A neat trick I was taught was that when you enter your name into a website signing up, put your middle name as the website name so if you get any scam email, you know which site sold your info to a buyer.
Couldnt pass without a comment. This is amongst the best contents ever i have seen on RUclips. Thanks+congrats.
Thank you for investing your time and effort. Really useful.
