100%. I never really 'got' the whole ASMR thing, never did it for me. Then I realised videos like this are what I actually enjoy, all the little metallic clunks, ratchets clicking, screws turning. Much better than some weirdo licking a mic or whatever it is they do!

@@mareksumguy1887 Both of those were oil, I think the green might have been silkolene. Assembly lube is generally pink or purple and nothing like oil. And there's no such thing as too much as long as it's in the case and not all over a sealing surface.
Marek Sumguy this guys engines are flawless, it looks like a lot of lube/oil but it spreads out. I’m a tech in Canada & id put one of these engines in my sti any day. Def check his other videos other man
Mikael Gaiason “silkolene” is a brand... not a product... idiot. And the rest of you are clueless. It’s clearly an assembly lube. You don’t use anything other than cheap thick non-synthetic engine oil for bore/piston lubrication for assembly of new hone and rings. You’re not even supposed to drench the rings with oil, like so many people do. You’re supposed to only oil the bores and rings will scrape off excess and be oiled properly. Otherwise the rings won’t seat properly and hydroplane for too long... also the oil near the top ring will coke up from combustion temp. In a running engine the top ring is almost dry... and that how it’s designed to run. Iv seen him brush on assembly lube on the cylinders. He also incompetently uses RTV silicone on the case halves... instead of using anaerobic sealer... to get proper crush of the main bearings.

Und wer einen CNC gefrästen Block haben will, für den ist der Preis zweitrangig. Wer einen Subaru mit mehr als 800ps will, der wird nicht nach dem Preis fragen, sondern ob es hält.
Interessiert mich aber auch was es kostet... ob ich es mir leisten kann spielt eh keine Rolle weil ich nix mit tuning am Hut hab... ich schau es mir gerne an und freu mich mit den Leuten die sowas fahren.... :)

Меня ещё прикололи пару моментов, кода две половины составлял одну сторону что в доступе динамиком зажимал, а вторую обычным шестигранником, возникает вопрос нахрена тогда этот выпендрёж с первой стороны) второе нахрена мерить длину болта шатуна до затяжки и после, если ты его все ровно динамиком зажал. Хотя я так понял он все это делал для красоты картинки обычно на шатанных болтах угол доворота есть.
When you bore your main bearings with no sealant between the case halves, how can you be sure your bore will be round without the .005 thickness of the sealant between them? I would think it would make your bore be slightly non round. A slight difference, but still, since you are so precise everywhere else I wonder how that is overlooked?
Subi. Versuch mal bitte die Dichtmasse von Reinzosil aus der Spraydose. Die lässt sich perfekt und einfach dosieren. Die nehm ich für alle Steuerkettendeckel von VW.👌

make that thickness of the sealant 0.003 inches. just to be clear. not mm.
I think the difference is negligible, otherwise Andy would have taken appropriate measures.
