It's such a shame they tore it down, the Wintergarden was a beautiful old theatre. Loads of happy memories with me and my friends going to the pictures there and having out school eistedffords.
I'm sure that little snack bar thing from up stairs ended up somewhere but I'm buggered if I can remember where. I recall in the end only up stairs was used. But as a young the whole place would be full both levels. 2 of my elder sisters and I would go with a $2 note. Total budget, admission and a cup of cordial.

Biggest mistake Ipwich ever made was pulling down this building. Should have been heritage listed.
