I'm not sure why you're measuring the temperature change with the thermometer resting on the cooler. You need to measure the room temperature change from a few metres away to see what difference they are actually making. For example a small cooler might pump out some cold air, but it will have a neglible difference to a whole room.

Depends what part of Australia you are at aswell with these portable air conditioners...it's muggy all year round up here in the tropics of Townsville and when in summer like now...the heat is at another level especially when you don't have a aircon in home....just wondering how they will go up here

What he hasn’t spoken about is you need to prove that you have a right to stay permanently in Australia before even attempting this. Otherwise you have to mess about with this temporary stuff. So if you’re on a visa that ISNT permanent or leading towards don’t waste your time.

Something wrong here. I've used it for a number of years. I'm able to put plenty of water in and hard boil eggs and leave it alone and it'll hard boil eggs without leaving any water left over. I've never had to keep pressing the button. Too much water and it'll overflow. I also turn out perfect egg from the little pan. I think a little oil helps though. Definitely underdone for some reason.

*6 degrees isn't much when it's 40-43 outside lol I recon in the next 10-20 years everyone in Australia will need a commercial aircon to cool their homes especially with climate change. here in Country NSW the past 5-6 years have been humid during the summer when we used to only get dry heat here*

Thanks for sharing. This brings back so many happy memories of hitting sideshow alley with my best friends from school in the 70s, 80s and 90s. I reckon there’s lots of pent up nostalgia the Gold Coast theme parks could tap into by installing some of those classic rides like the Zipper and the Rok n Rol, updated versions of which are still made by Chance Rides.

Back in Side Show Alley’s glory days. Before the RNA criminally gutted the Ekka grounds by flogging off land most of the pavilions sat on and reduced Side Show Alley to a shadow of its former self. I miss the Zipper - the best amusement ride ever!

Omg I forgot dreamworld had that waterpark! I never took the big straight slide with the knee board. But I did the other one. Damn I miss those days. Dreamworld was perfect. Stingray and Mattahorn too. Can’t believe what dreamworld is doing.

I had one "set" in the 90s. Was fun to explore and was a fair price to buy this box including camera and the view machine. Some instructions was not included though but it was yet another experience...
