I travel to more than 50 countries. It’s not so much as John did, but I started later in my life. The most recent were, South America, South Africa, Namibië with a car with a rooftent (at the age of 72) and last year with a camper around northern of Schotland. Excited to see where you go next! We live in Southwest Turkey and are about to visit Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa for seven weeks, and I cannot wait. We have travelled a lot and lived in different countries and have family all over the world, but has been a while since we have gone somewhere completely new to us!

I am guessing John may have travelled to Australia already, but looking forward to seeing your beautiful family travelling here. My parents came to Sydney from Finland in ‘59 and this city has been home to me for most of my life (other than 2 years in Japan and 3 in Singapore in the 90’s). We just returned on Wednesday evening from a 25 day road trip (and rail) through NSW, Victoria, South Australia (including 3 nights on Kangaroo Island) and the Northern Territory and then it was back into my work place the very next morning, while hubby is enjoying his first year of retirement. We saw places I have never seen, and looking forward to my retirement in 2 years to travel more slowly. Note: leaving our car in the long term airport parking in Adelaide was only $150 for a week. Great value we thought. Then boarded the Ghan train to Darwin. Next time it will be all by car to explore more. This was just an easy introduction for us. Happy and safe travels! 🥾🎒🚐✈️🚞

We live in Southwest Turkey and are about to visit Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa for seven weeks, and I cannot wait. We have travelled a lot and lived in different countries and have family all over the world, but has been a while since we have gone somewhere completely new to us!

I am guessing John may have travelled to Australia already, but looking forward to seeing your beautiful family travelling here. My parents came to Sydney from Finland in ‘59 and this city has been home to me for most of my life (other than 2 years in Japan and 3 in Singapore in the 90’s). We just returned on Wednesday evening from a 25 day road trip (and rail) through NSW, Victoria, South Australia (including 3 nights on Kangaroo Island) and the Northern Territory and then it was back into my work place the very next morning, while hubby is enjoying his first year of retirement. We saw places I have never seen, and looking forward to my retirement in 2 years to travel more slowly. Note: leaving our car in the long term airport parking in Adelaide was only $150 for a week. Great value we thought. Then boarded the Ghan train to Darwin. Next time it will be all by car to explore more. This was just an easy introduction for us. Happy and safe travels! 🥾🎒🚐✈️🚞
