      I completely understand where your coming, but this is muti faceted . Hence the prefix "can be," and not "is always." Imagine growing up in a big family and going against the status quo. Being intelligently introspective with no one to talk with. Looked at as an outcast because you don't perceive the world as the majority does. Sticking to your guns because deep down you know your in the right with the decisions you have made. If you are true to yourself than there is no other way. This can be lonely because you still care about everyone and find value in the experiences of each individual, even if they do not. Loneliness is temporary and can easily be overcome in a healthy way.

    Spot on!!! 👍
    But, they will often be mistaken for narcissists because of their independence and rejection of counterfeit empathy. That is, their resistance to being manipulated is often interpreted as narcissism. But, I think most sigma males know the difference between narcissism that uses people, and the fact that resisting or rejecting manipulation is inconsistent with a narcissistic desire to use people. A narcissist, both the overt and covert narcissist, needs supply and they only get that from people who enable them. Which is why they manipulate. A sigma male doesn't need supply, and thus they are not being narcissistic in resisting manipulation.

    I told my best friend not to marry his fiance to her face, that she was emotionally manipulative. She looked stunned that I did that. He married her anyway. She did a number on him before they finally got divorced. I also had a teacher that would walk around the class and rest his hand on guys shoulders. When he did it to me I threw his hand off my shoulder. He was like Oh don't touch me and I was like that's right. I never saw him do it to anyone again. I think I became that way because I was easy to manipulate when I was young and got to where I recognized it and just got to where I didn't tolerate it. It does drive some people nuts when they think they can control you then they come to find out they can't. It does seem to be a rare trait because most people seem to fall into some group socially or politically and buy into all that the leaders or influencers of that group proclaim. This effect does have a half life as people become aware of the manipulation that is why mainstream media is losing its viewership.

      This is so important. Bravo! I'm thinking of Pink Floyd's Animals album. Dogs, pigs and sheep. This subject is as old as time, yet it's so hard to recognize. Is manipulation the primary subject of all personality traits? My mother was a vicious manipulator, and my older brother taught me in one sentence how to stop her: "You're just trying to make me feel guilty!" I was 13, he was 17. I ran into the kitchen, knowing at a primitive level that he just crossed the Rubicon. She never had a hold on me from that day. I have hated bullies ever since that day. That was 1976. I've NEVER in my life cared about what other people think of me, whether it's the way I dress, the style of my hair, the choice of car, the music I listen to, the books I read, or the movies I like , I have to like it, that alone is the CRITERIA that counts. Of course it takes a lot of self-confidence to have people look stupid when you show up somewhere, when they talk stupid stuff about you behind your back, but hey that's NOT MY problem, it's people's problem. I have no problem with people even crossing the street when they see me. I don't belong to the "broad masses" I despise the so-called "mainstream" and everything that goes with it, I don't watch shit on TV just so I can "have a say" and talk to people about it who don't interest me anyway and that's it been like that since my earliest youth. In a rehab measure after an Accident at Work a psychologist asked me if I had problems with bullying or exclusion because of my appearance (normal for me, extravagant for others). I just smiled and asked: Would I look like a victim who was let being bullied by someone ??? That ended the topic. I'm not a "follower" I've never been, I did everything on my own without pandering to others, when I know I'm right I fight for it, no matter what the consequence, it wasn't particularly helpful on the career ladder, like be, but I didn't care. I wet shave and always need to be able to look at myself in the mirror, if I kissed someone's ass just to get a promotion I wouldn't be able to look at myself in said mirror anymore without throwing up right away, so submission and ass-kissing was NEVER an option for me. I let my performance speak for itself and always worked sensibly and conscientiously, regardless of whether I liked the job or not. A wise man once said, "It doesn't matter what people say about you when you arrive, no, it's much more important what they think and say about you when you leave.". Always rely on yourself and you are never alone, very simple. But when some one needs help and this Person is important to me, then I would give my last shirt for him, he could contact me at any time day or night and I would be there, IMMEDIATELY and without questions, thats for Sure.

    I like this video because it provides a balanced view towards the act of manipulation itself. I do agree that manipulation is in our nature. A very wise person once told me that as long as you're acting in the best interests of others, you can never be held in the wrong. But you can't have selfish motives. For skilled manipulators especially, there's a fine line between showing empathy for someone you're trying to protect and using manipulation tactics for dishonest gain.

    Manipulation is a common thing among the wildcard or the universally attractive women. They recognize that men respond to them because of their beauty and therefore can become drunk with power and misuse themselves and others. This is where the sigma male comes in the picture and brings these types of women back down to reality.
    The word "simp" needs to be redefined or clarified. A simp is actually a woman who does not satisfy her man until she is satisfied by him first via errands and chores. This often involves withholding access to her body and the man is often found doing much more of the work in the relationship. The source of this behaviour often lies in unforgiveness towards men in some way similar to some forms of racism.
    In non serious relationships, the simp woman is often just using the man while behaving promiscuous to keep him around but he is actually not her type and he will never win her over.
    In each scenario the man is in a type of prison and some men find themselves stuck in it unable to move on.

    • @charlesbrightman4237
      @charlesbrightman4237 Год назад

      ABSOLUTE TRUTH REALITY: (copy and paste from my files):
      Trying to be an honest sincere truth seeker, I have to accept the real apparent truth whatever that truth might be, whether it makes me happy or not, or is beneficial for me and/or all of life itself or not. To not do so would mean I were not an honest sincere truth seeker.
      Funny thing about absolute truth reality: It still is and always will be absolute truth reality. (Whether people know that truth or not and/or whether they believe that truth to be true or not).
      And for those who claim that 'absolute truth' does not actually exist, well for that to be absolutely true, would mean absolute truth truly exists. Absolute truth is the secure basis to build all analysis on.
      "The best way to deal with absolute truth reality is to deal with absolute truth reality. And if one is not dealing with absolute truth reality, then one is not dealing with absolute truth reality. Find and deal with absolute truth reality." (OSICA)
      'Absolute Truth' being defined as the 100% correct and 100% complete set of facts that no human has nor is even physically capable of having in totality. Hence also 'why' we all need to work together for the common good. Nobody knows it all nor can do it all.
      Absolute truth is NOT a popularity contest. There were times in human history where only a single human being knew more of the real truth that was discovered than any other human in history.
      And note also: Denying future reality will not make future reality any less real. People just won't be prepared for it is all.

    • @charlesbrightman4237
      @charlesbrightman4237 Год назад +1

      Consider the following:
      a. I am a human as defined by humans.
      b. I am an energy based quarkelectronian as modern science claims that all matter is made up of quarks, electrons and interacting energy and I am made up of matter and interacting energy.
      c. I am a being of 'light', 'if' my current theory of everything is correct whereby the 'gem' photon is the energy unit of this universe that makes up everything in this universe, including space, time and numbers. (Currently dependent upon the results of my gravity test).
      d. "I" do not even actually exist but eternally existent space time exists as me, currently in the forms as above.
      * I exist and yet "I" simultaneously do not exist, dependent upon perspective. But yet, do "I" not truly exist in absolute truth reality as only eternally existent space time exists as all things in absolute truth reality?
      * "I" can mentally change between perspectives thereby experiencing existence from those various perspectives. "My" mind continues to expand, but is it truly 'my' mind that is expanding or is it eternally existent space time's mind that is expanding? In absolute truth reality, it would seem to be the later.
      * 'To Be or Not To Be'. I am both, 'I Am and I Am Not.' But I Am Not it appears more than I Am.
      * Consider also: If asked the general question, 'What do you know?'. My current answer would be, 'Not much compared to all that can be known.' (I Am Not, More than I Am). It's humbling.
