sasuga war criminal. :3
She made sure to add the * 😂
@@danscornerofyoutube reminds me of the asterisks * on FaunaMart's lottery tickets... why does everything remind me of her, dang it. she isn't even gone yet and i'm already missing her. and i'm the sanest sapling there is.
i may be laughing, but i'm in pain, guys. i really appreciate pekora for brightening up the room.
cover is dead to me when gura doesn't stream and fauna graduates, but i appreciate that other talents are still having fun and loving what they're doing. it may not be the end of the world, after all, even though it may feel like that sometimes. thank for being real with us, pekora.
Don't confine yourself to just EN tho 👌🏻 always look at the roots, for it is what sustains the tree
Talk about disrespecting Pekora by going directly against her wishes stated in the clip you're commenting on.
Pekora really has a strong mentality.
surprisingly incredibly based. surprised that i wasn't aware prior to this. well, now that i understand the pain of having your oshi graduate, i'm also a different person. i aspire to be as strong as pekora someday and can joke about it.
pain, peko...
She is a kindergarten teacher she have to be mentally strong to do such a job.
Hmm you didn't see aqua graduation?
Have you seen holostars?
Thank you for the clip. I feel a bit better now that Peko-chan made me laugh. I'm glad she can say that.
i feel the exact same way. never have i ever appreciated pekora as much as i do now. i needed that laugh.
This is why I adore Pekora, man.
She speaks her mind, straight up, to the point, and she can still laugh and joke about stuff like this, even though she understands what we're all feeling right now.
When I say I love these girls, I mean it with every fibre of my being. I want nothing more than for them to be happy and satisfied.
she really is considerate. she also is surprisingly based and mature about this which helped me look at this a little more objectively.
i'm still in pain, but i feel a little better now after she genuinely made me laugh. i really appreciated that.
@ethanfreeman1106 She's been in this gig a long time, she knows what's up. In a lot of ways, they're all just like us.
This is one departure that's gonna sting for a while, I think, at least personally, but laughs and smiles are the best cure, so try not to let your feelings get the better of you. We're all in the same boat here. 🙏 🌿

She's one hell of a professional for this. And it's good to know she's still gonna be around for a good while. I just want the ones who left on good terms to be alright...
Kinda amazing she can stay this long. Pekore is kinda introvert & shy person. And hololive gonna be more busy in the future.
@@harfi212 she's not only one of the old guards, she performs incredibly well so management has almost no reason to be hard on her. so unless she grows dissatisfied with the business and how people run things, she's unlikely to leave. i can't really imagine her doing anything else, so this is a good thing. the nousagis have it good, and pekora herself enjoys streaming too, so i see it as a win-win.
not sure about the future tho but everyone has to leave at some point. talents do need to have time for a personal life, perhaps marriage and raising a family. this shouldn't be something they need to do forever, so it's unreasonable to expect them to. the vtubing bubble will burst eventually, but the world will have become a much more accepting place by then, and going indie would be a much more commonplace thing which anyone can do. we'll have lots of vibrant communities and people are going to make friends online, play videogames together and having a lot of fun.
strangely enough, i'm feeling hopeful. or maybe this is just the way to cope, as one of the actual sanest saplings.
@@ethanfreeman1106i only want to say you that i love you, nousagi bro!
@@grialinfo4426 i'm a sapling (the sanest one) but i appreciate you too.
They all are going on to make, or return, to more successful independent Vtubing careers.
Didn't think peko can calm down my nerves so well, but I'm glad she did.
Pekora GOAT, she deserves all her popularity and accolades.
Pekora's been very vocal during times where management was constantly messing up with her, to the point where she broke down in tears during her membership stream and ranted about it. It was especially prominent back during the vtuber boom of 2020-2021 when she hadn't gotten a new outfit in a year despite her announcing she'd be getting a new outfit and also when she had constant trouble regarding one of her 3D LIVE concerts. She's not shy to speak about these kinds of things. Pekora is one to definitely speak her mind and I'm glad she voiced her opinion on the matter regarding Fauna. Also funny of her to egosearch and smack down those who are using her words maliciously lmao. One thing that's clear is that Hololive is changing and those changes are affecting everyone right now. Change is scary and so the future of Hololive also becomes scary. I can only hope this is just a bump in the road and that 2025 will bring back stability to Hololive and the talents, for everyone's own well-being
Pekora fans got it good huh. There's no way she will graduate in the near future, and she streams regularly, rarely taking breaks. Though I don't really watch her, I really appreciate her work ethic. She's a shining beacon for Hololive fans and Holo members alike
Us nousagis are blessed to have her as our oshi.
pekora sure has grown such a strong and vibrant personality over the years. night and day from debut
Actually having all the EN and ID members stay this long is really amazing!
Different cultures and different work cultures could make them stop at any time, yet the EN and ID talent manage to be patient and adapt to a new environment and thrive in it......
But as a fan, you can't help but worry about the future especially with this many graduations happening... I hope things will be better
It won't really affect hololive that much in terms of money. Popularity to reach the western audience and get more main stream? Maybe, but the japanese talent are still the ones who are raking in the majority of the money.
Same with niji. They can drop en all together and not promote their id that much, and it won't really affect them that much
@@35PHaaton That's true, The JP heavy hitters are the most profitable for them and since Cover is a JP company managing them (JP Talent) is their top priority but the EN and ID talent are also important for their image as a company.
If they don't treat them properly it will also affect their JP talent, Niji is a good example of this even though their JP talent is still strong but their views are dropping, not much but that will affect the talent state of mind.
What I'm trying to say is Cover doing a really good job managing the EN and ID talent thus far, but too many graduations are bad for the company image it will also affect the Talent and the fan state of mind.
Of course, I'm not trying to blame Cover for this, I just wish things get better.
This many graduations are bad for my heart......
@@kurniaarafah9373yep, we can't blame Cover for this, just hope that they can do some improvements regarding this.
Yep, I think that really goes unappreciated with Cover, particularly recently. Hololive depends on a very particular mix of otaku culture, idol culture, and collectivism culture, none of which is common amongst English speakers, while Indonesia was pretty new to the extended weebosphere at the time and so basically a leap of faith. They've done a remarkably good job finding english-speaking talents who fit in with Hololive culture. I'm impressed that it took until 2024 for any of them to leave (Sana not counting since that was outside anyone's control).
The best way to look at it is it will end one day. Hololive should not last until we are 60 years old. It's a time piece. Something to look back on and say I remember those days. We will be old the girls will be old and the kids will will watch new Hologram-tubers, VR-Tubers, or whatever the f k they will have 20-30 years from now lol.

thank you so much for clipping this, ngl yesterday's announcement with all the other graduations this year leading up to it shook me. these were the words i needed to hear from my oshi right now.
I really needed this rn, thank you pekora
At the end of the day, it's a job. There are people who were satisfied with the company, and there are people who weren't satisfied. The best thing is, the company is letting them move on if the talent wanted to leave, and not trap them in a restrictive environment.
I'd say that the recent "changes" is actually molded by the talents, not investors nor management. Talent like Suisei, molded the company to something that she wanted to be, a virtual idol company, with routine dance and vocal lessons, making original songs, collaborations and brand deals, and livestreaming to retain new audience.
While it might be suited for some talents, some might not like it as much, some might not be strong enough for it, and it is normal. Aqua wanted more control on her schedule, Ame wanted to do her own 3D fun stuff a la Fillian, Chloe wanted a more laid back vtubing to accommodate her health, and Fauna? Who knows what kind of disagreement she had with management. Scheduling? Pay rate? Bureaucracy? You can speculate, but until enough evidence is apparent, we must not do anything stupid
Some of the talents are going to be ok with the changes and some will not. I'm a Sapling too as much as I consider myself a Nousagi. Its tough to see things change and people go, but its better to celebrate that people are going to the places they want to be in rather than being held back and soul-crushed.
...and I mean, if the war criminal ever really does leave, that really would be the end of an era. I'm in the rabbit hole because of this crazy rabbit nearly losing her new Netherite Sword in a puddle of lava. Just as much as I'm in the rabbit hole because of the MC Neighbor war, and half of that duo is gone while the other half is on indefinite hiatus.
whats the point of changes if only fraction of member being okay and the rest is no?
@@Chilky-106well you have just made that up havent you
@@Chilky-106 Because the business has the right to direct its affairs (and its obligations to shareholders), not the workers. Their concerns should be heard out, and accommodated if possible, but it's not possible if your plans truly involve a major shift.
@Chilky-106 because nothing ever makes 100% of people happy. If you expect 100% every time you are doomed to be miserable. There are people out there that don't like vtubers, even though they like anime. There are people that don't like anything anime. Everyone has different things they want in life. It is not about perfection. I'm not going to tell you things are good or not to criticize hololive, but I will ask you to have some empathy. @@JabitNazmi They're probably pointing out talents that haven't been seen much lately or that really like streaming (more so than idol things). I think up until now Hololive has had two sides to it, the idol side (singing, dancing, merch, events, etc) and the streaming side, and viewers are concerned for the talents firmly planted in the latter, as it seems Hololive is trying to shift more aggressively in the direction of the former. Fauna being all but forced out is a red flag to a lot of people.
@@TheGreyParse I understand that. Thanks for the explanation.
@@JabitNazmi"Rarely streams = more likely to quit" is their logic. Funny coz Fauna wasn't that. It's not an accurate metric. The other 3 graduations weren't Holomems that the people expected either.
That's why people are panicking hard now: it's many, unexpected, and hella fast paced. 2024 is the year with the most amount of departures since 2020. Back in 2020 it was Aloe, HoloCN, (6 vtubers, 2 gens) and Kira and Kaoru over at Holostars. 9 people. This year it was Mel and Gamma, as well as 4 graduations. 6 people. People are used to 1 or no departures for Hololive, so people are acting like it's an apocalypse now... Some are even making Nijisanji comparisons, which to me is "holy shxt no bruh".
@@HudaefCares nijisanji comparisons are wild, i mean like dude a talent attempted it was so bad and they've had mainly bad things to say about the company afterwards, while nothing like that has happened with hololive. Even if management is turning bad its not nijisanji level, least no evidence of it yet. A disagreement alone doesn't go that far.

Only time will tell if this comment will age like wine or milk.
I just read Cover's 2024 financial report (and direction). All I can say is that a lot of EN (and _maybe_ ID) signed up mainly to stream, release merch, maybe collab with an energy drink or a car company, and have fun -- and *_not_* to sing and dance prettily.
Heck, the _boys_ at Holostars are having the worst of it all. A lot of the staff wouldn't even bother taking care of their needs. Just look up how Altaire's doing right now.
Edit: In any case, I can't say I'm not surprised anymore why Mumei and Gura's MIA.
@@alcor4670what are you taking about?
Kiara and Calli are both heavily involved in music. Most of Promise are all singers/love to do music stuff (Bae and Irys the 2 standouts). Nerissa, Fuwamoco, Biboo all have no issues doing it (considering 2 of them moved to Japan to be closer to the studio and action.) Hell, Shiori has done so many covers, I can’t keep up. Justice is the only group where Liz is the obvious singer, but Gigi has made it clear she love idol stuff, even if she doesnt act like the typical idol girl. Raora wants to get better with singing.
Outside of a handful of members (Gura who isnt even active), most of them have no issues with the dancing and singing and probably embrace it. You act like they aren’t told what type of stuff they’d be doing while in Holo. Hell, FAUNA had no issue with the Idol stuff.
Stop putting words into all the talents mouths and acting like YOU manage them personally and know what they do and don’t want.
EDIT: Also, since you looked at the financial reports, please tell everyone the overall revenue generated from streaming from the last report. Last I checked, Streaming/online activities produced the lowest amount of profit compared to Concerts, Merchandise, and IP collaborations. So obviously, as a company, Cover will look at avenues that are profitable, not what makes then less money.

Even if privately people have serious concerns about management, it will ultimately be the decision of talent to decide whether it is worth putting up with that.
I do remain a big fan of Hololive content & obviously the talent, but if an agency can't retain talent, it will be left behind. A corporation is a tool to achieve something of value. If it fails to achieve that then it gets put aside. I will follow talent whether they remain in Hololive or leave, enjoying the time spent wherever. It was Pekora who introduced me to vtubers so I'll enjoy while it lasts.
greetings nousagi! looks like you're in it for the long haul, and honestly i'm glad for you. as a sapling i unfortunately can't say the same. as a chumbud i'm even more hopeless. i'm looking at the indie scene where people seem to be having more fun with more freedom. i think i want that.
corpos might have been a good way to kickstart the thing, but it's ultimately the communities and the talents they support that provided the most value. i remember going down the rabbit hole ever since i watched 2snack's animation of gura prank calling ina that time. i listened to gura sing after watching her gameplay and i was blown away. i fell in love with how supportive and talented the fans are. it was vocaloid-level of fanbase, possibly even more. people friggin' made quality games based on hololive talents, and even i enjoyed playing a few of them. i learned about niji sanji, the competitor to hololive. i learned of the darker side of things, of the cyber-bullying that made pikamee quit, of the incident with selen. its ups and its downs. i think it's all very interesting, and was glad when we got huge wins or when things got better after they got worse. i thoroughly enjoyed jumping straight down the rabbit hole, but the reason i started being a part of the hololive fanbase and joined its various communities is no longer here (as gura no longer streams) and the talent i watched most consistently just recently announced her graduation.
i don't blame the corpos for doing what corpos do. i realized i was looking for something to blame just to cope with the pain, and management was a very easy and convenient scapegoat. but it's never that simple. pekora helped me see that just now, which i appreciate. but it also made me realize that really, there has to be a better way of doing things.
i think indie is the way to go. the direction corpos decide to go in may have greatly disappointed me, but that doesn't stop people from simply going independent. we can still have more fun. i'll probably just remain a casual watcher again after all this time, now that fauna of all people is leaving, but i really hope we can see the old friends hang out together in some other shape or form. if henya could do it (without any boingboings even), doki could do it, mint could do it, aqu-tan (forgot her indie name) could do it, and dooby could do it, there's no reason lemonleaf can't.
this may just be the sanest sapling doing his best to cope, but i have faith that people can have fun wherever they go. we can have fun wherever we go. i think that's the real value, and that's something only we can provide for ourselves.
unorinically i believe in "the heart of the cards" now, and gosh dang "the power of friendship" is as real as it can be.
anime didn't lie to us!
You know they still have a higher than average retention rate right?

There is a group of people that are hellbent on making cover a black company just because the neighboring company got that reputation so they exaggerate things and spread baseless theories.
Honestly im too tired, I too am frustrated with cover and want to know what these differences are that made the talents leave, but these people just muddied the water for a genuine discussion
@@IrvineL1you can search some videos on RUclips because I saw some of those videos that are more trolling about this.
@@IrvineL1and you think you are entitled to know what the differences are? Lol fauna has made her decision and it is for the better just go and support them and also their future endeavours. Cover has made their decision long ago and will likely will not change soon enough (and they ain’t hearing the fans). Some member will like it some members don’t and will leave. That’s the reality of it. At the end it’s just another job in the entertainment industry.
People love to blame the idol stuff but even "would much rather just stream" Fauna liked that stuff. Personally I think there might (still) be an issue with the EN management. Quite a few issues with them came up this year. (Kronii, Ina, Altare, Fauna) A-chan taking over the HoloEN channel fixed a few things but it seems it wasn't enough.
Aqua wanted to be more chill and lax, (apparently she moved back to her hometown... She moved to Tokyo coz of Hololive) Chloe has health issues and lessening her work wasn't enough, and Ame has her "3d consultant" thing that kinda required her to doxx herself. (She all but told people on her irl name on her first stream back as an indie)
Fauna's graduation has a different energy, it's like she's angry, so I'm holding off of speaking up for Cover, at least when it comes to her.

I like how even whilst re-assuring people Pekora is digging herself small holes (reassuring people she wont leave then qualifying it, then having to reassure people about the qualifier), truly the best rabbit.
Five departures this year and 9 additions, with 90+ total talents. Honestly, for any large group/organization those are good numbers. It's really the fact that Hololive HASN'T had many departures up to this point that was strange. But we're still net +4 members for the year.
New talents won't matter if the pillars that made the foundation for them are gone, imo. Advent's cool, Elizabeth and Raora are great, but they won't be able to hold the EN branch like myth and council did.
Nijisanji: rookie numbers
@@Limaonyx Gura carried Myth and Council had a graduation within year and both of them had the covid buff.
Well for me at least it's more of a problem that this seems to be a mining canary thing. We all know that investors always mess things up when leading companies like this. After having a company that we trust precisely because almost no graduations happened all of a sudden you have this many going on. And btw, you dint seem to be including holostars; altare had complained about this before his break and you had magni and vester just go out of nowhere a year ago. You also have Gura feeling burned out and not even streaming consistently. Something is defintively going on behind the scenes that is just not good.
@@Limaonyx just learn it, eat it, and move on. "can you not use what Pekora said to criticize..."
Many are guilty of this and won't admit it. Funnier even is that they're still doing it on this very comment section.
Pekora is taking it personally but people just make use of any public information to try to understand what caused that many graduations.
Its not wrong to try to understand something
That's why she's my first oshi!!! She's always giving me the positive energy to keep going even in hard times. Sasuga Pekora!!! I understand that great power comes with great responsibility, so the work you have to do. But I hope they focus more on the talent's mental health.
I trust the war criminal more calming my shattered nerves than Jim Bob doomposting on Reddit.

GG Yagoo.
I agree with Pekora's mindset of "when it happens, it happens, and when it doesn't, it doesn't".
When Coco graduated, I remember feeling a massive pit in my stomach, but when she came back elsewhere later on, I came to realize and accept graduations are not finales, they're just splitting paths. Same with Fauna; she won't be in a form we've become familiar to, but this is not the absolutely final time we'll see her.
I think that, for some time now, pekora has taken on Fubuking's role as public representative of the holomems.
She already commented that many changes had occurred, it is a shame everything that is happening, but without going into looking for victims and culprits, and more or less ethical or correct reasons to act, the truth is that change is normal in this life. Not all parties always have to agree, and that's not a bad thing. What happens is that we holofans had become accustomed to a peace that was really difficult to maintain. Let's see what happens from now on, I hope that things improve and that Holo continues to be a place where I can be happy, but I know that there will always be changes.
When her time to leave come, i will follow her anywhere. Glory to Pekoland 🔥
I, for one, am not personally that into the idol content. I started watching Hololive cuz of their stream contents and personality.

Peko-chan Peko-chan yay yay 🥳🥳🥳
Like i said before with how Aqua redebut gone so positive and overwhelming she even got to hire her OG illustrator so fans dont really miss the original with no backlash at all there's definitely more holo members thinking of graduating/affiliate because at the end of the day being with Hololive is still a commitment and akin to being employed. Have restriction for games(need permission from game devs), needs permission to do projects, needs approval/reporting, to do work for hololive own projects(recordings), constant release of merch=merch signing, meetings for plans for future activities etc. tons of behind the scenes. While being indie you can do however you want whenever you want while having retain your base fan at that after you graduate is totally a push for them going indie.
I got positive thoughts from her in this clip. It feels much better. I think all parties have made a thoughtful decision. The company is changing to continue growing with everyone left. As for Aqua, Kuroe, Fauna, they left to have their own lives.

As we already know how great pekomama is, im sure pekora will become a greater individual as time pass by...
Nothing is eternal.
Honestly at the end of the day, what's done is done and Fauna decided for herself that leaving the company(due to disagreements) was for the better. It is what it is. It's sad, but gotta accept it as is. At the end of the day, whether it's the people bashing the management or the people bashing those are who are bashing the management, lets just all let that down and do what Fauna asked for in her announcement, which is to create more lasting memeories during her last month or so and celebrate her graduation from holo.
If management is acting questionably, I'm not going to pretend like everything's ok. And they are indeed acting questionably. I fear more Holomems will be quitting in the near future.
What are these “disagreements”? Everyone that graduates says the exact same thing and it’s never explained in the slightest what these are. It’s annoying af.

What's fun about Pekora is she actually is aware of what's happening around and would comment without drama. Only her Anti/Haters and clueless would twist her words to suit the narrative they want. Pekora is probably one of the most professional member of Hololive. Her stream to idol works doesn't seem to have changed much, probably because the Management knows for a fact that Pekora is very influential and demotivating her would be a really bad idea so they're mostly fine with her Warcrimes... erm.. her shenanigans. Assuming they have 3 years contract, Peko-chan would probably be on her 2nd contract and 3rd contract is already sealed and the possibility of her going out of her way out of Hololive would be 2027~2028. We still have a lot of time to enjoy her funny antics.
Fortunately, because this isn't slavery, people are free to quit at any time, they don't have to wait until contract renewal.
@@yurisei6732yeah ppl will be shock when see niji long waiting list..
N It's about quit company 😂😂
@@yurisei6732 Yeah people are surprised when hololive talents are leaving willingly, like bro that's what everybody wants isn't it? To not be enslaved by the company to do things you didn't like
自分あんまり知らないのですが、3年契約っていうのはどこから出てきた情報ですか?
@@なな-l1u5r It's just my assumption based on the trend of when the talent debut to when the talent graduated.
Lol the hololive subreddit should hear this cause they are wildin out and using her words to justify their wild theories.
Yeah, I knew people were gonna use Pekora’s word out of context for sure. She’s right on this one being unfortunate with the timing too.
Our goat pekora...
She's most funniest badass war criminal vtuber of hololive.... She's a chaos god & final boss lmfao.
All her streams especially (RUST! One rabbit army) was fun to watch!
With you to the end boss!
All hail pekoland army & pekomama o7
She had been my oshi since she first debuted.... And my only oshi.
Lightning McQueen moment
Quoting Pipkin Pippa, "Hololive is like a world, and someone leaving meant a bit of that world is lost and crumbled a bit."
Buckle up. We're in for a bumpy ride.
Everyone is saying that everyone is next. Some say Gura, others say Mumei, others Kronii. There is a LOT of speculation going on, I try to stay as far away as possible from it, because it doesn't do anyone any good and its borderline conspiracy theroy levels of paranoia, but it is very hard to ignore.
I think the only logical prediction is that the next to graduate will be Yagoo.
I feel that all speculations and all taht stuff is doing is harm.
And in all honesty, all that time pointing fingers, falling into rage and sadness, just waiting for the next one like it is a bingo, all of that time could instead be invested in enjoying the time with the performers while it lasts
We all have a time to go, unfortunatedly
It's really weird seeing the absolute fanfiction going around. Kids trying to write a corporate drama story without having ever seen a real office or contract in their life.
I was just starting to get away from my Baihe (chinese yuri) addiction which dragged me away from watch Hololive since last year, but the amount of graduations in this fast a pace is making me wanna go back to it lol
Gura is inevitable unless she really lost all her passion for streaming and just stays for the money. Ame had the same streaming schedule and magically started streaming regularly after she left. This is not a conspiracy, it's just reaching a conclusion based on publicly available information.
Pekora has a level of professionalism that I wish all people had when someone leaves.
People want so badly to make Cover the bad guy when they can’t comprehend disagreements are just that: disagreements.
Like I’m less heart-wrecked at the graduation and much moreso because of people’s reaction to it. True fans support their oshis, and let’s just continue to hope that any future graduations are on decent terms at least.
I think people are especially paranoid regarding corpos now, courtesy of multiple corpo horror stories in the first half of 2024, particularly the high profile evisceration of Kurosanji. People are already naturally inclined to think the worst, but after a few cases where the worst _actually_ turned out to be true it'll be especially so.
@@DarkFenix2k5 I think so too. I just hope the optimism outweighs the cynicism this time around I guess.
Fubuki & Pekora as long these two still around ~
i don't watch much of pekora, mostly due to the language barrier, but she's incredibly based.
as a saddened sapling, i appreciate her so much for reading the room and lightening things up with some jokes. the nousagis have nothing to worry about! ...for now.
as for saplings, it may already be faunover... but maybe it was time we evolved into leaflings anyway. wink wink.
cheer up guys.
Pekora made a disclaimer befpre hand 😂
"For now"
me fell from the chair*
I've been following Hololive for several years and I don't know if I imagined that they would last for years and grow so much, nothing is forever and it's obvious that just as new people arrive old people can leave
Kanashii peko :c
Thanks peko-chan! 🥺💙💚
pain peko! rn, all i could do is supporting my oshi until the end
It's good to be a nouCHAD right now
Just the same, lots of people seem to be checking on old dormant accounts for activity and joining those accounts just in case. I saw one account jump 1k in subs in less than an hour.
I guess this means Liz will be doing plenty of collabs with Promise and do plenty of Fauna impersonations now
If pekora graduate, idk what to do after work man, shit
You just follow the person behind the character to whatever account they go to lol. Fauna -> lemonleaf
You do the same thing. It would just be a question of getting used to her new model.
Pekora is a pillar of hololive same with Miko, FBK, Suisei, Sora. They will stay for longer time. If they quit it mean time to retired not move to another account.
@@Cryosxify yes but the collabs between the girls are what is best if you ask me and that is dead forever once they leave.
@@ndaemon1718 They can still collab with other streamers as an indie. Heck, if enough Holo members leave you may see collabs between the same people using different models the way you do with former Niji.
Pekora just shut down the baseless rumor lol. I understand people panicking right now, and the rumor said “Pekora already reserved her graduation next year” 😂 and 4 more talents reserved to be graduated next year as well. But FOR NOW, cherish what that already decided whether its to graduate or to continue.
If Pekora graduates, I will delete all my accounts,
0:42 actual clip starts here.
2:28 clip ends here.
Who would've guessed that Hololive greatest enemy would be it's own success? It's very understandable why some of them are leaving because at the beginning Hololive was a lot more streamer focus and Idols stuff was just a Lore thing but then it grew bigger and that Lore thing became a more relevant thing.
Seeing that many people join in for the streamer stuff and staying for the Idol stuff is kinda impressive (I doubt that a lot of them join Hololive to be idols in the EN branch for example only Kiwawa and IRyS come to mind)
On one side it's sad and a bit frustrating but on the other it's a omen of very good and big things happening in the future, so I just hope that everyone can find some level of happiness from these changes.
They should've asked how much idol work they wanted to do and just adjust to each member's style/preference.
Everyone parroting the same thing
@@Cryosxify I think they already did that at some level? Like how Kobo is going with the idol route and Kaela with the gaming route. Not sure if it’s because each branch have different management style.
Mannnn most of the gen except for the newer ones are down 1 member, meanwhile gen 0, all of id and gamers is going strong since the beginning of time 😄
just like pekora said too many people's getting comfortable with speculations and use the talents' own words to shield their behavior, even if the speculation turned out to be true then they don't deserve sh*t cus it's just a lucky guess. Grieving is good but don't externalize it if it ain't productive
I like how this is written
冷静なコメントを有難う。
Thanks Megami Pekora!
But honestly, I don’t think the company will let Pekora leave considering her popularity.
Yes. There will be a day at some point in the nebulous future where nobody currently in Hololive Productions will be in Hololive Productions. Whether that's because they, one by one, decided to stop as their circumstances dictated, or because it had to cease activities altogether, or something more extreme and out of the hands of the company happened, only time will tell. No one is staying in this forever. I trust words to that effect more than I trust words that say their speaker will never leave. (Though I don't necessarily think that their speaker would be lying... more like not thinking them through.)
The day Pekora quits, so do I
Disagreeing with management is the perfect reason to give for leaving. It doesn't specifically blame the company of wrongdoing (you can disagree about direction without either of you being ethically wrong) but it removes any anger the talent might face for choosing to leave. If they say burnout or personal stuff, or even ambition to do more they might face a little backlash. Especially if they quickly return as an indie or resume their past life. I suspect every talent that parts ways and intends to continue their career in the Vtubing space will say they disagree with management.
People forget it still a Jon in a company in a job if your not happy you look for another one
This one just has People at the forefront
The only problem is, it was twisted by some people.
Technically if possible the best thing to say is.
"I will be doing a new route to my life" or something like that.
Only 2 reason i can think of when fauna say that:
1. She asking for a raise but cover rejected it
2. Hololive getting more busy & she cant keep up with hololive work etique
@@harfi212 If I signed up to be a streamer and had to constantly fly to another country for various events I'd probably quit too. I have friends and family I want to be near and don't fancy the life of a travelling businessman.
@@RobertLutece909 if you were foolish enough to sign up with a foreign company that's been producing 3D content that requires studio access since before you applied, I wouldn't pity your predicament. Remember, in the early days of EN it wasn't that they needed to travel, but that the pandemic prevented their travel that was the major gripe.
Not long ago, Fauna also said that she was not leaving.
yeah, they quit in the same problem
but fauna its a bit different
If Korone, Pekora, Nene or Marine ever quit i dont think Id be able to take it.
EN n JP is different
people act like this is not a job and graduation due to not being able to keep up/dissatisfaction as abnormal.
probably mostly people that haven't had real work experience, or at least not enough to see how things are no matter what country or culture you belong to.
I'm pretty sure people are self aware. And it's totally human to feel sad or upset about it.
@@senny-no no its actually fine some people do feel sad about it but that’s it they are just going to continue to support them but some are well not that accepting
Yeah, everything not gonna be the same anymore if you keep working for the company in a while then you have to choose: stay or leave.
@@senny- Err... I would not encourage you to finding that out, but there are plenty of people saying they would minecraft cover management and then themself over it.
Obviously some degree of sadness is totally humane, but there is a limit to everything, and people act far outside of that limit right now.
