Did you have any issues using the remote feature of the doorlock. I have BLE and Wifi failure. It is connected to 2.4 ghz band. It works great other than remotely
Great Video, well explained, so installation of U Ubolt Pro + Bridge was quick and easy. The lock is fantastic and I especially like the auto unlock feature - a great help if your hands are full!
I have this lock on the door of my condo unit for guests that check in, however, I live about 10 miles away from the condo, do I need to program this where the lock is located and can I get notifications o. n my phone remotely. Also, where do I connect the bridge and does it stay connected near the lock? Please let me know as I'm getting guests as early as this evening, Thank you
@Silver Eagle, did you buy the WiFi bridge separately or it’s included in the box? Because it says in the Packing List it’s optional but in your video, it seems like it’s included.
Please note that the Auto Unlock doesn't work so smoothly as mentioned in these videos, mine doesn't work at all. Never Auto Unlocks. And the GPS based system used for Auto Unlock should be optional. Close contact via Bluetooth should also be able to Auto Unlock the Deadbolt. This should be given as a option and customer should be able to select as per his/her preference. Each customer has a different requirement, and the plan of the house is also different. You cannot pretend that every house is the same. Just give the option to select. And U-Tec has also removed the IFTTT and Google Home/Assistant support as well. Only Alexa works. Which makes it worse.
I have this lock its cool but I just hate when you have the door open it will lock so in order to close the door you will have to unlock the lock. For some reason it dose not have a sensor that detects if the door is open or closed
Yes some smart locks does not have the sensor to detect if the door shut closed. Some other versions does have it but you will not have all the capabilities of this specific Smart lock, pros and cons 👍🏻👎🏻
A new version with built in wifi (no bridge required) and an included door sensor to prevent locking while open is supposed to go on sale sometime this year
Yes I didn’t make it in this video but if you like to get an idea please watch this video for more information it’s pretty easy, let me know if you have any questions: Ring Doorbell & Schlage Encode - Remote Access Your Door From Live Video ruclips.net/video/RoM_I4DlYhk/видео.html
We had one, and it broken less than 18 months. Good design but bad quality. We asked the company for a replacement, they only offer 30% to buy a new one and only send to USA. So disappointed. Will not use their product again. Maybe try Yale or Eufy. You don’t want to change your lock every 2 years though……
Now days I use eufy smart lock… check out my latest video: eufy security smart lock touch & Wi Fi - 2021 Smart lock All-In-One ruclips.net/video/uP6_4zh09cM/видео.html
OMG, I went through the exact same thing except mine lasted just over 1 year. To put salt on the wound, they originally told me they would send my a replacement part which they never did. When I followed up they said the only option was to buy a new one. I asked why they told me they'd give me a new part and they ignored the question. Like you I'm totally not interested in buying these expensive locks annually. Complete and utter junk.
Not sure if you'll know the answer, but I'd it possible to use a computer as the bridge rather than buying their bridge? The bridge is expensive, and for such a simple feature it seems like you could do it cheaper by just having a desktop or laptop be the bridge.
I would like to see a comparison with the Lockly Pro too. Lockly has scrambling numbers, (but if I’m using the fingerprint reader only guests will use the numpad), 6 pin lock vs 5 pin for UltraLoq and door sensor, which UltraLoq doesn’t have. But UltraLoq has hidden key and has auto unlock via Bluetooth on a smart phone and holds more fingerprints. Final biggie is UltraLoq Pro is $80 cheaper then Lockly Pro. One last thing is UltraLoq have 2,000 reviews on Amazon vs only about 150 for Lockly, so is UltraLoq more likely to be around in a few years?
Great video, as always. I see what you are saying about how cool the Auto Unlock with geo-fencing, but I just feel like I could lose my phone and then the person who found you can unlock could unlock my door. (Maybe me just thinking to far into it.) Question for you, is there a way a locksmith could change the cylinder on it to a more secure cylinder? Thanks again.
This option is available, but I didn’t recommend it on this video for few different reasons... 1. The two security screws for the cylinder in the Ultraloq U-Bolt Pro and the cross plate is very small and it will probably won’t support loner cylinder like the Mul-T-Lock etc. 2. The cylinder in this lock is hidden inside so it’s not a visible key anyway. For my opinion if you do getting this awesome smart lock you made one to take care of your door reinforcement at the same time this is much more important for my opinion.
That is why you put security controls on your phone to make it hard to gain access into it. I think you're thinking a bit into it, how am I suppose to know where you live if I found your 📱

Can you disable the autolock setting at the 30 second mark?
Will U-Bolt Pro be adding HomeKit to this impressive smart lock? I’m an Apple, HomeKit, Siri guy. Thanks.
Got mines today and i love it it was easy to install love that it works with Alexa
It’s a great smart lock
I will get this smart lock in a few days and check out this awesome video for the installation, I like the Dr Strange portal at the beginning
Let me know how that works for you
Is it possible to change the core on this lock?
Did you have any issues using the remote feature of the doorlock. I have BLE and Wifi failure. It is connected to 2.4 ghz band. It works great other than remotely
Our experience was NOT easy programming - does outdoor temperature influence operation of the lock? We’re in Canada- it’s winter.
Thanks, Paul
Yes it may impact the lock.
They do have a newer version and soon I’ll make a new video on it
Love the video big help
That’s great news
If you don’t set up the bridge can the lock still open with a code
Great Video, well explained, so installation of U Ubolt Pro + Bridge was quick and easy. The lock is fantastic and I especially like the auto unlock feature - a great help if your hands are full!
Thank you
can you install this on a pvc fence?
Been asking around but I am trying to find out if the thumb turn still function's like a traditional deadbolt?
Yes of course
How close should the WiFi bridge to the U-both pro lock?
About 3-4 feet

Make sure to install it just like i did in this video. The hub should be connected very close to the actual lock
@Silver Eagle, did you buy the WiFi bridge separately or it’s included in the box? Because it says in the Packing List it’s optional but in your video, it seems like it’s included.
Yes it’s sold separately but for the sake of the video I did have the WiFi bridge
I thought it’s included in the box. I only need it for remote unlocking right?
Yes and also for push notifications
Thank you so much.

Great video, I can't get the auto unlock to work, any suggestions?
Do you have the new version with Built-in Wi-Fi ?
@@S.E.Locksmith I have the one with the wifi adapter, the bridge.
Try to reset the lock to the factory setting and then program it once more
The lock feature within the app does not show the time when it was locked, and unlocked like yours is, how do I change that? like 16:19
Nice review! I have a quick question. Is the battery really easy to drain? Thanks
I’m not aware of any battery issues with the Ultraloq U Bolt Pro. But if you do worried always keep the backup keys with you and you’re good to go.
Video is great, but the update seems to time out. Please explain what to do of this happens
Reset the lock to the rectory settings and try to reprogram it again

Can I confirm the dimensions. The info says its 8x8 but looks smaller on the video
Nice review. How many fingerprints could it store?
Super video as always👍. Can you please do a comparison of this lock ( Ultraloq U bolt pro) with the Lockly Smart Lock. Thanks
That’s a good idea
I’ll definitely do it soon
1 quick question - will this work with the ring doorbell? Will I be able to see who is at the door and open the door from within the Ring app? Thanks
No this lock doesn’t have this ability only the Schlage Encode can do that

Silver Eagle Locksmith Do you have a review on the combo of the same brand?
Very nice, Great video.. I would really like if it was double sided this way i could use it on a outside security gate .
No it’s only a single side smart lock keypad.
How can I keep my lock, unlocked for guest to come when I need them too ?
Please find out more information at the user manual or at their website
I will get it in a few days
Awesome, let me know how it works
My bridge keeps blinking fast green
Jigahertz?
It’s 2020 & vehicles still don’t have fingerprints doors or push start? Unbelievable.
