Every time this gentleman is on, I know he’s going to be showing a pen someone will undoubtedly use to sign documents aboard their yachts and/or airships 🙂
What's better than a John Lane video? Two John Lanes! Thanks guys. And, thanks for keeping the prices on these magnificent pens so far from my affordability range that I'm content to drool from this side of the computer screen. I believe in using pens, too, rather than buying them for storage and bragging rights, but I'd be afraid to touch these marvels. Kudos to the artists and to John for bringing them to Goulet Temptation TV.
Brian and John, so look forward when John comes to visit. He always brings some truly exquisite pens to show and although they are somewhat out of my price range, it is always something I look at with wonder and think of all the work that has gone into making them.👍👍
I'm glad some of the buyers are actually writing with them. Even as a work of fine art, at the end of the day they still are functional items made to be used and enjoyed, albeit with more caution. Like what is the damn point of buying a pen or a watch or a sports car that is so uber-luxurious and rare and exclusive that you just store it in a dark room, to never be used or touched or maybe never even to be seen again? If you paid $5-10k for a pen specifically for the carving, painting and lacquering in said pen, why would you not have it in your hand as often as possible?
Yes, the H-link bracelet and the honey gold dial. John is definitely wearing a Seiko Pogue. I wonder which variant it is and whether he is the first owner. Given his appreciation of quality, craftsmanship, and precision I wouldnt be surprised if he is a Grand Seiko man as well.
Great seeing John and the new Pilot Namiki USA line up. I think we all aspire to own a beautiful pen like those shown here. On another note, yes please shave as it freaked me out. Also loved John's watch, which believe from my view looked like a vintage 70's Seiko reference.
*I will hold off on buying this until it gets to the Bottom Shelf* *PS - I thought John Lane was great at Nakatomi Plaza when he defeated that Hans Gruber guy! Oh - wait - never mind, my bad*
The pens are amazing! The John Lane cosplay is cute yet creepy... But, having once complained about the camera work, let me just say that your camera person is doing great! I promise to stop commenting on meta/side-issues now :/ Cheers!

Loving John's Seiko Pogue watch.
