It's been a great 48 hours in Melbourne for the 2018 F1 season opener. Had a lot of fun doing the TV work and watching the race from the other side of the fence. I also explain how Vettel managed to overtake Lewis, so watch until the end!!

I wonder how Sky Sports feels about collaborating with Nico. For years they were saying all kinds of petty nonsense about him, now he's a world champion, enjoying his new life, doing a better job commenting than any of them...
You can understand why Nico is such a loved driver and person around the world. So humble and fan driven outlook. Great flogs.

Cool watching an F1 weekend from this point of view. Keep up the videos! Brilliant cinematography too.
The explanation made sense... As fans we watch these races and enjoy them, but for the F1 teams it's such a strategic battle. It's like playing a game of chess with 20 players.
Why Seb won explanation: I would also add that the reason Lewis didn't push was because Merc wanted to conserve the engine because of the even more stricter 3 engine rules. If racers could push all the time... Lewis probably would have won even with VSC.
True Mexico thats true for the main time of the race but the final 2 laps mercedes has a bug in the software, Hamilton switch to the attack mode but lose power, you can see that on the stearingwheal display, that he change and no one can tell us that the name of the safe mode „attack“ is.
It actually was an idraulic problem which caused the penalty for today
He just failed and sucked. He drove it straight into the grass.

You Being a journalist, it would have been much cooler to inform on what is the VSC lap time, The time gained on the switch......And kept stressing how 1-2 seconds error in judgement made all the difference....:)

Hey Nico - really enjoyed that and I look forward to more of these throughout the season. I'm a little confused though - you did pretty much the same thing last season - reporting for RTL and Sky - so what's changed? Anyway - you really live the life now - travel all over, with many contracts paying the way ... nice! DAMN I wish I could live life like you do! But at least I can sit here and enjoy the ride along with you! Cheers mate!

Great video, this was the perfect start to the season, now it gives Ferrari a little bit of extra time to improve the car without being behind in the championship. Hopefully someone has handed them some got photos of Bottas's car too. More videos of this quality would be great Nico.
