As a Police Officer, the #1 thing you need to worry about, besides what the suspect might have in his hands, is the possibility that your gun could malfunction
I was in a 1974 gunfight w/three armed robbery suspects & had to reload my service revolver under fire before the bad guy finally went down. I used a speedloader to recharge the Colt Detective Special & was quickly back in the fight. We transitioned to the Glock in my last ten years but by then I was a captain and stuck at a desk for most of the day.

I remember all of the years of firearms training at indoor and outdoor ranges where we learned to shoot at targets through car windshields. Glad to see these officers are highly trained windshield shooter-throughers. Legend has it that the officer whose gun jammed after firing some initial shots through his windshield was later cleaning his gun and was STUNNED to find a large amount of fragmented glass in the slide and down the barrel.
@@jsacodes916 I'm no law enforcement by any kind but I'm pretty sure I won't be thinking about hearing loss when I'm faced with a life and death situation. But like I said I have no training by any means about law enforcement.

I trained LE and the military in weapons and small unit tactics for 16+ years. We used to get junk cars and set up targets in the front and back seats. By reading the comments, it seems that there are several current and ex-LEOs commenting. I was wondering why the one officer was having so many malfunctions. I get guns can malfunction if the slide is rubbing against something and won't cycle correctly, but it seemed more than that. Maybe his carry ammo is not what he used at the range? Some ammo and guns just don't work well together. Any ideas?
Congrats Sig, you can see YOUR p320 very clear in this police shootout, it jammed on him twice. So not only are there countless situations of guns firing when dropped..... but this is a police shootout and it jams. Dont buy Sig.
My only comment is about the girlfriend.... typical police brutality and violation of civil rights. She was not a danger to ANYONE, and also was not right in the middle of the scene. She was simply, and understandably, emotional and scared, and all the cops had to do was calmly talk to her and usher her away and not drastically escalate into violence and illegally detaining or arresting her. That was total bull crap. And dont say she distracted them or some other nonsense. The scene was code 4 and the cops knew the guy was neutralized, and any loved one is going to be emotional, none of wht they did to her was ok. As usual, cops are escalting and earning the hate. Great job you thugs.

"Why, they even had a Bear in the air..."
I understand blurring out blood etc on videos but muting the gun fire? Ridiculous.
Guys reacting to body camera footage are like chicks who print out letter and put them on cups
You cowards go take him in custody this isnt Uvalde .
Curious why we are bleeping out the gunshots??
Same thing with words like sex, murder, cigarettes & other's words. Why?
Theres so many videos you can cover from las cruces new mexico!
I find that I dont google myself as much as I used to when I younger 😢
Better get signed up with Aura and get your information deleted!
why do you mute the gunshots
RUclips will censor the video
you fight like you train
Jammed gun is probably dirty as hell.
I'll bet he was on the phone with her while being chased.
Too many cops for one criminal. Even a tank vehicle. Wow
Yes nice vid. Why his gun kept jamming!😮
how was she present so fast
I honestly think the cops gun that kept jamming was just death grip from the high stress situation
It looks like that one officer shot up his own vehicle. The back window in the corner of his SUV are all shut up.
13:10 “idiot” 😂
It was good to mention he was dead. Doubt he was though. "Why!?" I'm sure he's a selfless dedictated Father. "Mark!" always have blameful relationships.
Why did the cops keep asking the shot suspect to keep crawling toward them when nobody else was in the vehicle?
Why not clear the vehicle with the drone ? You could verify if anyone else inside
It jammed because it’s a SIG 320. Poor guy, could have cost him his life.
I’ll say this. That’s about the most unprofessional and horrific thing I have ever heard an officer say is so just say ‘’he’s dead’’ to his girlfriend. Am I wrong?? That’s insane
This is a old video
3:46 do i REALLY NEED you to tell me how to watch a video DUDE?? i know how to listen thanks DAD!!!! WTF
At least the woman who showed up on scene was predictably rational and reasonable...
Any ideas?
It looks like he accidentally engaged the slide lock, definitely not a jam/malfunction
if you have a rifle, or carbine, what are you doing with a pistol? you use your pistol to get to your long gun...
The gunshots are muted but you make us listen to that lady scream?
I don't ever want to buy the gun he was using.
Too many chiefs there.
Lancer mag in action
Congrats Sig, you can see YOUR p320 very clear in this police shootout, it jammed on him twice. So not only are there countless situations of guns firing when dropped..... but this is a police shootout and it jams. Dont buy Sig.
You mute gunshots? Why do you do that? I mean your channel is shots fired not shots muted.
Their rules, not ours.
Cara essa censura no momento dos disparos foi realmente brochante kk vou até parar de ver o vídeo namoral
Hey that’s here! Smh and I’m sure they let him go like they always do here smu
Why no airship??? It saves lives and cars
10:30 please, if there is a man there, let him fo the yelling. This child screeching sounds unprofessional.
P320 issues be like
It's 2024. Can we tell cops to stop firing from inside their vehicles.
