When Denny goes off into the grass at Daytona in the first clip I like how dw said his right front is headed to where he is when you can see it's literally still on the car
1:07 Seen this clip in several of these compilations and never noticed the "Call 811 before you dig" on the driver's side rear fender of the truck before.
I personally think the problem is that the cars have gotten too low to the ground. I mean, the grass wasn't as big of an issue back in the '80s or even in the '90s. Heck, the only time the grass was a real issue in the 2000's is when somebody flipped. (The grass usually sent them rolling as seen in the video.)
Das Gras in der NASCAR ist sehr gefährlich, aber es ist sehr lustig zu beobachten. Kurt Busch Licht auf dem Rasen in Daytona beobachten es war so viel Spaß
I don't usually comment on videos, but I recalled a clip from the ARCA series a few years ago when they were at Pocono and that car "bounced" over the guardrail. That would be a good clip to use if you ever make a part 2
1:31 I remember this year in Texas because I made fun of someone how do you mess up so bad where you have grass go flying everywhere then I realized it's Dale Earnhardt jr. (The person I wanted to win)
You missed so many: Here are some I would love to have seen: 1. 2003 EA Sports 500 Elliott Sadler. 2. 2002 Pocono 500 Steve Park and Dale Earnhardt JR. 3. 2010 Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 Elliott Sadler. This wreck ripped his engine completely out of the car. 4. 1987 Winston Dale Earnhardt pass in the grass. Ok this did not happen in the grass but I had to put it up 5. 1998 Daytona 500 Dale Earnhardt. He did spin outs in the grass after his historic win. How did none of these make the list??
1. Sadler's car didn't flip because of the grass. He started rolling when he came back onto the pavement. 2. Park and Jr. crashed, but Park didn't flip because of the grass, and Jr. didn't crash because of the grass. They would've wrecked bad even if there was no grass. 3. The grass didn't rip Sadler's engine out of the car. 4. He won. 5. You're point? The list was about crashes that were made worse because of the grass. Even though all 5 points you listed involved cars going through the grass, the grass itself didn't make much of a difference on the crashes. Sadler would've still flipped, Park and Jr. would've still crashed hard, (and if they had the guard rail, Park would've most likely still flipped) Sadler's engine still would've ripped out, the pass through the grass wouldn't be a memory, and Dale would've just smoked his tires.
I know every point you made but if you look all of mine include grass in some way except for the pass in the grass. He did not say the grass had to make a difference all he said were grass moments and that is what I listed.
maybe but I read it a different way then you. You read it as grass tearing up the cars where as I read it as grass playing a part in the moments regardless of what it did to the cars. .
I haven't seen a single one of these NASCAR crash/fail/incidents videos that doesn't have Danica in it. She's either very unlucky, or very untalented. Or both.
When Denny goes off into the grass at Daytona in the first clip I like how dw said his right front is headed to where he is when you can see it's literally still on the car
Track rod failed
5:00 Hang on, hang ooooooon, hang on.... Sploopy

Made me think of lightning mcqueen
Car rolls and grass go so well together
I had no idea that NASCAR tracks had a "double jump" section.
Me to
Such an exciting sport that we lose our minds over grass.
Depends on what kind of grass you’re talking about lol
0:57 remember kids, call 811 before you dig!

Simon Foley I think he said Sloopy like the song but idk
moral of the history: Nascar Grass was made from hell
Devon212 You Suck Ass.
That escalated quickly.
It wasn't always like that you know.
A NASCAR race car going on the grass is like grinding your fingernail on a belt sander, it always ends up being a very rough experience in the end.
Anyone else waiting for a crew chief to say “your ass is grass” after some of these moments 😂
I love Arca, track ahead completely shrouded in smoke? POWERRRRRR THROUGH!
Sve Law Another car is wrecking and sliding down the track? BETTER GO LOW.
Or, ARCA BRAKES!
Sve Law it's Called days of thunder
Sve Law your. Off is on your side
“Sploopy?” That has to be one of the oddest things I’ve heard DW say
0:41 and Kyle Busch rolls on his ruf lol
Mingus's sponsor should be "411: Call Before You Dig Up Part of Chicagoland Speedway's Frontstretch Grass."
At 1:08at the side of the truck call before you dig lol
Kim Kyle He was calling before he dug (that’s why he went flying down Pit Road)
The truck crash at Chicago the #15 didn't call 811 before he digged.
Lmfao
Lol
lol womp womp!!!
I totally get it lol
Jordan Floyd hbhhhhh
GOOD OL FASHIONED NASCAR LAWN MAINTENENCE ^_^

Get rid of the splitter or the grass. Cars get torn up so easily
At NASCAR Lawn Service LLC, we work for 16,000$ ( add gas ) per hour! You may think that's expensive, but trust us, it's worth it!
Your lawn will look the best it ever has
i feel bad for the mower guy
you should do a video about the worst ways to win like spinning first to win
Yes
Triple P Productionz
Dude, You. Know. NASCAR. Great highlights, man!

SHIELD HOUND e
I LOVE NASCAR'S STRANGEST CAUTIONS!!!!!
I think it should only be called a splitter when on black top, once you head for the grass rename it the PLOW!!!
So satisfying to see the grass explode. I feel bad for the drivers
Amy Glimpse it's really satisfiing for cars to be lawn mowera
I would love to have been driving Sam hornish or Kurt Busch cars when they are spinning like that
Das Gras in der NASCAR ist sehr gefährlich, aber es ist sehr lustig zu beobachten. Kurt Busch Licht auf dem Rasen in Daytona beobachten es war so viel Spaß
I miss the satisfying crunch of aluminum when they wrecked before composite bodies.
I don't usually comment on videos, but I recalled a clip from the ARCA series a few years ago when they were at Pocono and that car "bounced" over the guardrail. That would be a good clip to use if you ever make a part 2
Except that was caused by an access road, not grass
3:50 was also caused by an access road.
that was buster graham
Nyooom!
1:27 mikey voice cracked
The new race cars in NASCAR are possibly causing the front of the car to tear into pieces when the front of the car hits the grass
The main problem in most of these is that the ride height is too low. NASCAR needs to let them raise it.
BNSF1995 they need to be low. NASCAR is all about taking a turn at high speeds , downforce.
Then the problem is the splitter. A front valence would work better.
BNSF1995 it's great that there'll low because when the front splitter catches the grass they would slow down in a crash
Number 88 is a raging car of Fire xD
Awesome bid your da best!
at the start the guy that said "I haven't heard a soul say anything about tires." he spoke too soon lol
The splitter was the villan all along
1:00, Ralph Sheheen's inner supercross came out
0:00 speaking of... *Denny Hamlin's tire fails*
"NO DON'T GO IN THE GRASS! NO!!!!!!"
7:11 I loved sam hornish's crash
"Oh what's this all about?"
1:59 I was at that race

This is how you go green LOL
Someone should tell Mingus the pit lane is the paved road
top ten nascar crashes at Daytona
Sam Hornish Jr, Daytona 2015
Brian Vickers, Daytona 2013
Basically Penske vs the Daytona front stretch.
0:51 Barrel Roll Barrel Roll Do a Barrel Roll! :D

racingfanz All I'm saying is that I think the point of the video was to call out the grass for tearing up racecars.
maybe but I read it a different way then you. You read it as grass tearing up the cars where as I read it as grass playing a part in the moments regardless of what it did to the cars. .
Do a part 2
