For me, my favorite VIT C has to be Murad's Advanced Active Radiance Serum from their Environmental Shield line! It just blew me away the very first time I used it, and everyone around me noticed my skin the first time, as well! My face lights up like a Christmas tree with it! It is however ungodly expensive, but boy is it something!

I remember when you recommended the ascorbic acid 8%/arbutin from TO. I finally tried it and I am loving the results. I add the pycnogenol and resveratrol/ferulic to it. It is perfect for my sensitive skin and keeps my melasma in check. It also helps with collagen and pore size

I would never pay for the Skinceuticals one as it's way too expensive! I used the Paula's Choice C15 but found that it oxidized really quickly and they only give you 20mls. The Geek and Gorgeous C Glow is fantastic and is my favourite vitamin C serum now. When left in the fridge its lasts about 5 months!

But Paula's choice vit c15 booster is smaller which means the better....keep it in the freeze... it's the best way to use
The skinceuticals ce ferrulic serum is the only one proven to boost collagen in the skin. All the other serums try to be skinceuticals
Wait what does oxitated mean? Can you see it oxitate
@@Fatima-lv7st It means that when exposed to air the Vitamin C looses its efficacy. You can see this by the colour of the serum. When it's fresh it has a clear water like colour, but when oxidized it looks orange and has little benefit at that stage. Keeping it airtight as much as possible is very important.

Great video! I tried the Skinceuticals Ferulic, didn’t wow me, so when the Silymarin one came out I immediately bought it and liked it so much I re-purchased, however it still wasn’t perfect lol I mean the price is just 😭 I tried the Cerave didn’t like it, I just started using Obagi 🤞🏽I’ll see how I like it once I finish the bottle, thinking of getting the AltoDefense my SkinBetter super pricey too but that brand really delivers in the couple of products I’ve tried 🤩
The reason I chose Paula's Choice is because of that 20ml bottle. The smaller, the better so your vitamin C wont go bad. And the reason Skinceutical's vitamin C still uses a dropper, given that it is almost $200 CAD, is why I dont use it. I dont mind paying $200 but I feel that the lack of consideration is a big turn off for me as if they dont care about their customers.

wow your PC vitC is so clear. I used 4 bottles and all were light yellow, which is still good, but yeah.... Anyway 20ml, that's great, less time to oxidize. I don't understand what's there to be dissapointed about. It's not like 30ml would be the same price.

When it comes to my dull skin, the only things that worked were the riceberry face serum and sunscreen by littleextrrea. They are very moisturizing. They make my face skin hydrated, and with regular use, you can see the difference yourself. They give a shine to the skin and are so lightweight that they get easily absorbed, giving nice results. Their texture is not oily at all and suits my skin. Vitamin C in it helps brighten my complexion, and niacinamide helped fade my dark spots. Overall, I would rate them 9 out of 10 after using them for two months.
I have achieved a glowing complexion from rice berry face serum and face wash.

Swear by the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C. Its a star product and very gentle on sensitive skin. I am on my 3rd bottle. Wonder why you didn't mention this super effective product.
Dr Brenner’s is great! Have used it for about 4 years. Used to use Skinceuticals CE Feurlic and Dr Brenner’s is better, IMO.
I think DR. BRENNER is a REALLY GOOD Vit C . I think it is better than Timeless and Maelove (those 2 are so watery and it doesn't do anything for me.).
@@tamgonzalez2548 , agree. Actually, not a fan at all of Timeless. Dr Brenner’s, per my dermatologist, is the closest dupe to the Skinceuticals. And about $145 less expensive!

I have a question, we are all being told to use Vit C in the morning to protect against free-radicals and optimize sun protection. I personally use Skinceuticals Vit C in the morning.
Many awesome anti aging day creams/serums includes multiple peptides. Peptides and Vit C cancel each other out and should not be used together
(At least thats what new research shows).
So how do we protect ourself against daily free radicals (vit C) and still get the anti aging daily benefits of peptides in daily creams/serums? Thank you
Please share your data on peptides cancelling out vitamin c. Even the skinceuticals website (the gold standard and the brand with actual research behind it) says that peptides are good to combine w vitamin c. As do many other sources.
I just came across your video! It’s wonderful, I just purchased my first bottle of SkinCeuticals vitamin C E Ferulic serum, I wanted to know in which step of the morning skin care routine should I apply this product? So I use La Mer and I’ve been using it for about nine years now and I wanted a vitamin C to add to my routine.
So my daily ritual is that I cleanse my face, I exfoliate my face only twice a week, then I use the La Mer treatment lotion Follow by the La Mer serum then I apply the new La Mer hydrating infused emulsion serum and after that I apply my crème de La Mer cream and sunscreen. It would be very helpful if you can let me know on which step I should use my vitamin C serum? Thank you and have a lovely day.
I was using La Roche Posay, it is a good product, but the oxidation is very fast, change the color approximately in 20 days. I changed for Drunk Elephant just yesterday. Let see what happens.

So the Skinceuticals and the Timeless Vitamin C shouldn't be used with the EUK, Buffet and/or the Argireline. Pure Vitamin C's shouldn't be paired with peptides and according to the Ordinary the EUK which is an Antioxidant shouldn't be paired with pure forms of Vitamin C either. Pycnogenol yes you can use it with those two vitamin c's ☺️

@@SincerelyMissAsh I have, but product was oxidized both times I got bottles so I gave up! The people I know, who have used it, swear by it. I wanted to hear more feedback on it because its a brand my dermatologist sells.

the YTTP Vitamin C is a derivative so it's not as irritating as a pure form of Vitamin C like the others I mentioned in the video. I apply it to my under eyes but one should be careful as the skin around/under the eyes is more delicate.

I love the Derma E Vit C serum and I mix in a few drops of The Ordinary’s Resveritrol w Furulic Acid in with it. Works grrreat!

I don't use all of these vitamin c serums at the same time. I alternate them so when I am done with one brand I will move on to another brand etc..

I wouldn't recommend it as this pairing can be harsh and irritating. I would use your Timeless in the morning and Adapelene at night.

No, I haven't tried that one but yes it could be used both morning and night.
There is a difference between the Youth To The People and the Ordinary as YTTP has Caffeine, squalane and other antioxidants. So it's definitely different in terms of the ingredients.

Hi! What do you think about a larger size of the timeless vitamin c? Do you think the packaging is stable enough to use up such a large size for a single individual?
Since it’s in a pump style I do think it will last longer than the dropper bottle as the air won’t get to the product to oxidize it as quickly. As long as you are using it daily I think you should be fine considering the packaging.
I would also recommend keeping it in the fridge. I am in Australia and I find the Timeless lasts well if I keep it in the fridge.

I personally don't find the Skinceuticals to be tacky but you may think otherwise as I don't find the Timeless to be tacky either. Skinceuticals has a thicker texture to it where as Timeless is thinner and like water. Skinceuticals has a 15% L-Ascorbic Acid where as Timeless has a 20% L-Ascorbic Acid. They are very similar but the formulation is quite different.
Hello those look a great vitamin c on the Paula's choice and the timeless vitamin c are those for blemishes dark spots from acne and high pigmentation or are totally different?
Yes!! Most Vitamin C's will help to lighten and fade post acne marks and hyperpigmentation. I do find the Timeless works well for this. I haven't used the Paula's Choice long enough so I can't speak for it but I am sure it would be effective since it's a pure form of vitamin c.

I use Bio Bare, it is 20% L Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin E , Vitamin B and ferrule serum. Also Hyaluronic Acid.

Skinceaticals patented formula expires in 2024. Then we will be able to get more affordable exact dupes, although Timeless is pretty damn close.
Since Skinceuticals only sued Drunk Elephant for patent infringement it makes me wonder if other brands ever came up with actual worthwhile formulations like Drunk Elephant did? And why haven’t they been sued also?

Timeless is NOT good as far as manufacturing. They had to replace my bottle three times because it leaks on the bottoms. The third time they sent it out in a plastic bag, not a box, and the serum was busted opened by the time it arrived. Also there was NO plastic wrap on the box so now you have to question why the customer service and warehouse would ship like this. Very disappointing. I would not recommend it.

I can’t speak for other influencers but when I work with a company I always state that in my videos and my opinions and experience with using a product(s) in general is my own. These vitamin c’s do work and I was not paid by any brand for this video.

Hi enjoyed watching your video on the different serum that u use i have one that I use its called Q +A Hyaluronic acid facial serum and when I use it on my skin after I cleanse it feels nice then add my moisture and my skin feeling light that one helps with my skin and very a adorable for me to buy it from Holland and Barrett they sell nice adorable things in there
I just recently ordered the Drmtlgy Vitamin C as you had it listed as one you like. I have used it about a week and really like it. Now it’s not a favorite of yours. ☹️ I had been using the Timeless for over 2yrs but they began using those plastic containers (instead of bottles) and just about every order I received they leaked when dispensing product. I complained as did others and I have never heard a peep from them!
Really? That's frustrating! I've heard that other people were given replacements when they reached out.😕
I've never had a leaky bottle (although I have heard that was a real issue) so I'm wondering if they resolved that problem?

I do know what you mean regarding the Timeless Vitamin C. I find it can get a little messy especially towards the end of the bottle. I enjoyed the dropper better as well but with a pump, it's air tight so it won't oxidize as quickly which is a bonus!
I’ve used Timeless for about 3 years and I love it! However, the last 3 times I’ve ordered it (directly from their website) it has arrived oxidized with mfg dates that were already 6-7 months old so of course they were oxidized! I contacted them each time and they sent me fresh replacements but I’m tired of playing this game. And the yellow plastic pump is garbage. I’m going to switch to Maelove’s Glowmaker because I’ve heard good things about that vitamin C and it’s reasonably priced. Have you tried that one?

But SkinCeuticals vit c has 12M symbol on their box which means expired 12 months after opened

How long it take to see result
Some may see instant results after a week but I would say 2-3 weeks you should start to see a change but everyone is different.

The company Skincuticle did not recommend refrigerating the serum c. did you notice the color has not changed?
The colour hasn't changed for me but once I open it I am using it everyday which only lasts me two months so within that time period I don't see any changes in the formulation.

I rotate between a serum (Melano CC Essence) and an anhydrous cream formula (Indeed Labs C24).
The Melano CC has been my most game changing skin care product. I didnt have any extreme hopes and was completely surprised that it completely faded and eventually removed a brown sunspot under my eye that I thought I was stuck with for life, not to mention acne scars. I will never be without it... and the packaging is the best part. The aluminum tube and airtight pin hole is genious.

I still recommend it but I have stopped using it. Not for any apparent reason other than I am enjoying the other ones more at the moment.
