the fact that you have to mention that somebody HAS "TO UNDERSTAND" a film TECHNICALLY or the SHOTS - Instantly means it is NOT entertaining - U go to the movies to just sit down and be entertained.. not to be handed a MANUAL HOW TO- ENJOY IT with instructions and pre-requisite study material

@@thebicycleman8062 no, you go to the movies and want to get delivered everything broken down so you can understand it. Which is not bad or an insult. His way of speaking, his current appearance, and his meta sensibilities and explanations about his art is both surreal and hilarious to witness now. 😂
Its only as funny and ironic like Ice T, the gangsta rapper, who wrote "Cop Killa", has now spent the last 25 years playing a police officer on TV as his primary profession. 🤷‍🤣

Why's Peele looking like a 1990s Roland Gift with a beard in all these interviews. Wasn't ready for this style change lol.

Listen, GET OUT was a fantastic movie, but NOPE leaves too much desire. Peele tries to make a complicated movie expecting the audience to remember all the easter eggs - references- that have happened. Yeah! The scene of the chimpanzee killing everyone in the TV studio reminded me of the lady whose face was ripped off by a chimpanzee while visiting a friend. So what is a flying saucer got to do w/ that?...

I can't find one Interview where they just simply talk about the film. I get it... WE'RE BLACK! There's BLACK folk in the movie, the director is BLACK, I'm BLACK... BLACK BLACK BLACK BLACK BLACK. I GET IT, I do. But at the end of the day, there is a MOVIE here to watch and discuss. I've been watching BLACK crafted films since the late 60's without any issue until recent. Kinda hypocritical and criminal that all of those films, (100% BLACK), are basically being ghosted in order to make it seem as if we've just recently broken down some barrier where we've been liberated and can now make movies for the first time without the color of our skin holding us back, LOL!!! GET REAL. This movie has Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, Native, etc... because they are people who are actors who are bringing these characters to life. BLAH BLAH YADDA YADDA... Pass the damn POPCORN!!!

Well Gayle kind of dragged the movie. All the adjectives she chose to describe none were good or she was not really enjoying it. Which means I’ll love it!

If Eadweard Muybridge's Animal Locomotion "Plate 626" is retold as an African American ancestor’s legacy, then the director might have accomplished it.
If this film has dominated the US box office, #Oprah definitely has most of the credits.

I don't believe in idolizing people or celebrities. I'll never stop to talk to a celebrity on the street, not even for a photo or an autograph; i just treat them as any other normal human. BUT.....I will say...if I EVER saw or had the chance to meet Jordan Peele.....I'd freak out. lol I could only imagine the great conversations you could have with a mastermind like his. His films are brilliant and refreshing!
Oh, and also Hayao Miyazaki. I'd also freak out with excitement to speak with Miyazaki lol Those are my only two exceptions.
