This guy is Jon Kew. I can tell by his body type, posture in the chair, and hand movement style. His giveaway is a "limp wrist fling" upwards as he plays sometimes. Outstanding drummer.
Yeah man…John Kew’s cover of Rosetta Stoned is an absolute must. He also does a few other tool covers that are exceptional.
Yeah, Danny doesn't really do much of drum videos. You should probably check out John Q's Rosetta Stoned cover. He has a playthrough with and without the music.

I totally agree with what you said about people that don't like Tool are the ones that want instant pleasure from the music they're listening to, without the need to really pay attention probably.
My brother loves Meshuggah and Hamferd, his only comment to Tool was: Not heavy enough for his taste, same for my nephew. They didn't even try to understand the insane musicianship that Tool obviously has in abundance. Makes me sad sometimes...
I didn’t mention that. That a lot of people don’t consider them heavy enough…. Uuuuhhh especially a mashuggah fan. So it doesn’t really hit the high you get when you listen to really heavy really musical stuff. I mean everyone’s got different tastes. When I was younger I was the same. I went from tool to slipknot lol and I also couldn’t go back after a while cuz I was deep into the need to listen to heavy shit
@@TheGhostNotePodcast I totally understand that, but you took the time to appreciate what Tool has to offer, whereas my bro didn't even really gave them a chance, because 'not heavy enough'. 😉 (He still loves KISS though...)
Don't get me wrong: i don't expect people to love them, I just hope for them to at least acknowledge their musicianship... But hey, I am probably stepping into the typical Tool-fan trap here. 😏

Hey man!! You have to watch Brook C videos, she is a good drummer and she played some tool covers.
The breakdown was a middle finger to the record label , pretty much made the track unplayable on the radio.
The question is; are you brave enough to react to Ren? His song "Hi Ren" has been known to break brains. Are you man enough, nay, human enough to withstand his artistry?
