Did you try it on a curve? That’s where I can’t get them to work. And I noticed that if the fabric starts to come out of the attachment, pull slightly to the right, not the left. Instinct says pull left but that just makes it worse.

I have not tried this one on a curve. Rolled hems generally don’t work great on curves unless they are very very small. Like 1/8 inch. Yeah pushing the fabric to the right forces it around the roll of the foot. Pulling to the left removes it from the roll. They definitely take some getting use to. Thanks for watching 💖

I got a set of these for Xmas with no instructions. I’ve seen the ads for them but still no instructions. Thanks for saving me a lot of frustration.

This was really interesting, but I really wish you'd included a link or actual details about exactly which foot you're using

I have the same attachment 3 and 6mm, sometimes I know how to work with them sometimes it doesn't want to roll the hem nicely, I'm not sure what's the problem
On the seams I have a same problem, sometimes it feeds but sometimes it stick in the attachment
I use 99.9% of time stretchy fabric
Maybe I have to practice more with these attachments, anyway thank you for this video and everything you do, I've learned so much from you ❤

Thank you for watching. If you don’t have one with a big curl like this I would try it cause it goes over the seams so easy! Happy sewing 🧵

How do you get that screw to loosen? I’ve tried different size screw drivers, power screw driver, and wd40 and other lubricants but it won’t loosen.

That's really interesting, I don't think I've seen an attachment that uses the needle plate screws to hold it down (instead of the attachment screws to the right of the needle plate). I suspect a lot of folks are gonna be raiding the office supply cabinet for some blu-tack to stick it down to their domestic machines!

What kind of machine are you using? Every machine I have or have seen has the bobbin in the front and I can't screw the attachment on.

Portable machine has a different looking hem foot, usually called wide hem foot, the foot and the rolled hem is attached together with a screw and can be change on how wide you like your hem. It has 7 sizes, the widest is 1 inch
