Amen. What a God-trusting message! These are my exact thoughts but I am just relieved that finally a Pastor is brave and faithful enough to put that kind of trust in God's unwavering power. Many preachers only preach about resurrection in the context of resurrected dreams, marriages/relationships but are afraid to include bodies - except that which will take place when Jesus returns. I'm very happy for this message of God's power through His children for His glory. What He has done before, He can do now. God is able!
I have been praying for nearly four weeks, every day, that GOD would raise our 42 year old young lady we cared for in our own home, who dropped dead in the bathroom. Her death broke our hearts, including my wife and the other ladies we care for, and all her friends. Today we fasted, just before we went to see her dead body, and then I prayed very hard over her, asking GOD through Jesus if He would raise her back to life. I know and believe nothing is impossible with GOD through Christ. I prayed Acts 26:8 over her dead body, and I was confident GOD would raise her back to life, but she would not rise from the dead. My heart is so sad for her, as she was a lovely, funny lady, who suffered from Autism. I am now praying Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. And I pray I will love GOD and Jesus no less, but even more. My wife and I are returning back to see her again, and try again before her funeral on Tuesday. I'm looking for someone who believes Matthew 10 verse 8 my son Quincy Keith Brown born September 14 1978 Was murdered between October 6 and October 7 2024. Here in Los Angeles California. Hie viewing is scheduled for November 8 his funeral is scheduled for November 9. I want someone to agree with me in prayer that God will raise Quincy from the dead
How do you tackle raising the dead? Do you go looking for dead people to raise? Is it a circumstantial thing? My wife and I managed to gain access (I think a Christian worked at the morgue) we gained access to pray for a friend of ours who’d died. It was certainly a weird experience, standing over this dead body, wondering what to do, say. I think I said “Alan, wake up, in Jesus’ name. Arise. Get up. Live again”. Yep. Nothing changed. So we, kinda sheepishly, thanked the chap and left. Family later heard about this (non believers) and were furious. Caught a lot of flack for that. But we went. We were excited but really nervous. So, how does it work, application wise?
Surprisingly, Paul after being killed by stones where raised from dead when disciples were looking at him and doing nothing ( yes). But he suddenly got up being transformed from bloody mess !
EVERY TIME A LOST SOUL ACCEPTS JESUS AS SAVIOR He is RAISED FROM THE DEAD ,,! When the young man said to JESUS let me first go bury my father … JESUS TOLD HIM ,,,LET THE DEAD BURY THE DEAD. WHEN WE ACCEPT JESUS BORN AGAIN ….WE WILL NOT DIE AGAIN . DEATH WAS CONQUERED ON THE CROSS. YOU CANT KILL A DEAD MAN. WE WILL JUST PASS FROM THIS WORLDTO ETERNITY. HALLELUJAH🙏🩸🥰
There is a time to be born and a time to die. A lot of Christians who have passed away would prefer to remain in heaven rather than be raised back to life on earth
