      I wish you all the best with your surgery, since having the surgery is only option to have a good and long life, there are not much to think, because from my experience more you think will make you more anxious. After surgery first 2-3 days are the toughest, not because of the pain, but the weakness and too much drug. But you will be making progress everyday and within 2 weeks, you should feel much stronger. It is a tough journey, but not as bad as it look. Very soon after surgery you will forget about most of your experience anyway. Sometimes life brings challenges and we need to just take it. Be strong and all will be just fine. Take care.

    Hello sir ! Thank you for sharing your experience. I am 34 year old and pregnant with my first baby , 3 year back I married to the most amazing person of my life but against with my whole family so we moved to a new city and started our new life together, 5 months ago I got pregnant with my rainbow baby , but very unfortunately few weeks back my gynecologist suggested my to do 2D heart & we found that I have sever biscupid arotic sever value by birth . Which is asymptomatic luckily!
    So we went to cardiologist, so suggested us to terminate the baby , which is very scary and emotional bad news for us , then to visit the best and best cardiologist in the city & some some suggest us to continue the pregnancy but under stick monitoring with both gynecologist & cardiologist. I know that it's a big emotional thing for my husband too . But I learn so many positive things from your story. Please do pray for me & my baby , only I needs is blessings

      Dear Sara,
      It is sad to know that you are going through this challenging time when you are supposed to celebrate your pregnancy. My prayers are with you and your baby. I have the feeling that everything will be okay.
      Now, 2% of the population has a bicuspid aortic valve. I have had it all my life and am fully active, even today. Since it is asymptomatic for you, then the ejection rate should be fairly normal. Then what is the problem?
      Please be positive and look for the brighter side that you need at this time for you and the baby. All will be okay, I am sure. Even though I am an atheist, I would like to go to the temple today and pray for you and the baby.

    Hi, you mentioned in one of the videos that the doctor advised you not to fly prior to surgery. Would you mind sharing why, was it because of the aortic aneuryzm?

    • @baybongdiary
      @baybongdiary  3 месяца назад +1

      Doctors suggested me not fly because I had a leaky valve and artery blockage, which put me at a higher risk of having a heart attack. From the US to India is 24 24-hour flight, with a high altitude, and sitting such a long time makes the risk even higher. My heart was able to send only 37% of blood to the body; it would get clotted easily.
      People often fly to different cities and countries for medical treatment, but it was best to avoid me with my condition.

      Hi Ken, I hope your test results will be good, and you won't need invasive surgery. The initial stage, when results started to appear, was terrifying for me, because I had little to no prior knowledge about this kind of problem. Please keep your faith up; it should be better than it initially appear. Keep posted, and feel free to ask me any questions you might have along the way. Wish you all the best.

      @@kenskip1 It is probably too early to say, but you may not need open heart surgery; it will probably be minimally invasive. In that case, you should be back to normal within a week. Let's wait for the complete test result. Of course, I don't know what the doctor has told you already.

      @@baybongdiary Sir, here are my symptoms ,Swelling around the ankles and abdomen, shortness of breath while walking to get the mail, heart pounding or palpations. Lack of energy, and plenty of fatigue. I visited my cardiologist last Thursday. He mentioned that it may be a clogged artery but it sounds like a aortic valve problem. Those were his words , but like you mentioned lets wait and see what the test results show.. Ken

    • @baybongdiary
      @baybongdiary  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@kenskip1 From what you describe, it looks like blood is not flowing back to the heart adequately. But if it is a clogged artery, they may do the procedure (angioplasty), which is usually a one-night hospital stay only. If it is a leaking valve, they may replace the valve with a bioprosthetic valve the same way they do the angioplasty, which is also a one-night hospital stay only. Lets wait and see what is really going on.

      Hi Alisha, I only found out that I had a bicuspid aortic valve last November. About 10 years back, I went through many tests because of some pain in my heart, but no one mentioned anything about my bicuspid valve. I hope your son is doing well and there won't be any need for intervention. Wish you and your son all the best. Take care.
