@Banjerman07 If you used the boost just to pick up the stripper slurry it would not cause damage to the recovery tank because it would be diluted with water and you'd be dumping it after. If you were to put stripper directly into the solution tank, that's when it can warp the tank and burn out the motor.
The convenience of the Boost is that you have the option of chemical free stripping if you use a surface prep pad which will remove the top few layers of wax in one pass. This is the application Clarke designed Boost decks for
We see typically 2-3 coat removal with this method. If you scrub dry you can take more off, maybe 4-5, but it makes quite a mess and cuts the pad life in about half.
The factory does not recommend dispensing stripper chemical through the Boost. Due to the chemical's corrosive nature, it will eat away at the rubber components and solenoids, eventually causing damage to the machine. If you've used the Boost to pick up stripper and wax, just make sure you thoroughly rinse everything immediately afterwards- the tank, the squeegees, wheels, etc, or else it will harden and be a headache to remove. The boost is designed for chemical free stripping, just use water and a maroon 3M surface prep pad.
I've tried stripping with this machine using the procedures according to the manufacturer and it does not do a good job without stripper chemicals on higher traffic and less frequent serviced jobs.
There are times where the conditions are so bad you might have to chemically strip using a black stripping pad. However, we do not recommend using the Clarke Boost to suck up stripping chemicals, as it tends to gunk up the machine. We recommend using a wet vac if you're going to use stripper! Hope that helps!
This Machine works great I have 2 of them at my job. I have been using mine for the last 7 years.

Ty. Looks good. I need to bid some places using this technology.
How do you tighten the brush head
What is the production rate for stripping a floor?
How many layers of wax is this taking off? A full strip? Do flooring manufactures back this method?

Nice video guys!
The Clarke 32" Boost can strip up to 15,000 sq ft/hr!
Caliberequipment where can I buy those pads for the stripping?

Does it hurt my machine? Or just void the warranty

How to fill water up?
Depending on the version, there is a clean tank port on the front or the back of the machine. Use a hose to fill up to desired level.
@@Caliberequipment Thanks for the info
