I live in Albuquerque, NM. Bought an Explorer before C-19 from this dealer in the video. They did a great job. Needed to buy a new vehicle due to an accident. Went back to this exact dealer and they tried to charge me a $7.5K mark up. I will never do business with them again. They are just horrible. They treated my wife and I disrespectful and they just wanted to profit off of us and our situation. They lost a long time customer for life! Do not buy a vehicle from Rich Ford in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
They can put whatever price they like on the window sticker, does't look like the customers are beating down that grifter's doors, does it? Those cars, trucks will sit at that dump and rot.
And you probably won’t even get a full tank of gas when u buy either! I bought a 30k truck years ago and they only gave me 8 gallons of gas. That by law, was what they were required to give me. Some of the employees had been stealing gas so they took it out on us buyers. Kraziness out here
I can tell you why car stealerships are still required. Very simple - us lowly consumers don’t have political lobbying power. I read the story about this topic several years back and here’s what I remember. It was sometime during the early days of the internet when car makers realized that they could do paperwork, financing, etc. online and they made plans to sell directly to the consumer. Evidently, makers don’t like car stealerships any more than us consumers like them. Upon catching wind of this, stealership owners from all over the country got together and spent over $100M lobbying in Washington DC to ensure laws were created such that the middleman, aka, the stealership, couldn’t be removed from the equation except in specific regions of rural Alaska, where vehicles can be sold directly from manufacturers to consumers. Nothing like legislating a requisite middleman and consumers getting the short end of the stick yet again.
They should be learning something by now, since people are not buying anymore because of the high MSRP and the mark ups. That is why cars and trucks are still sitting on lots for days or even years. The consumer is learning .
Not much better at Toyota and GM. Same shit all over the place. It's simple. Keep running your vehicle until it's not repairable. Maintain it tight and you should be OK. Let them lose their shirts.
I have 78% nitrogen in my tires straight out of the compressor. 😁 The last car I bought was $300 over invoice, which was thousands under MSRP. They need to rename them a Museum instead of a Dealer at those prices.
I tried to buy a Maverick local they had it marked up 3000 I said what can yall do they said 1000 over because your a friend so I drove 65 miles and paid list and am happy as can be 😂
If that addendum sticker is not an effective customer repellent, i don’t know what is. They must believe their products are rare commodities only found at their store and competitors don’t exist.
Rich Ford oh you're in my Town Albuquerque I believe. As you probably already know trucks are really overpriced in Albuquerque you can't get a good deal here. I usually pop over to Phoenix and I do pretty well. But for whatever reason you're lucky if you get $500 off in this town.
New subscriber here my friend, another great BRIEF video, and thank you for that. I guess there's a reason I don't see any potential buyers on that lot. Actually, it's $2401 reasons. 🤣 What a ripoff! Sheesh!
Remember, most pickup drivers ( excluding business owners, trades fleets, utilities, etc) are a bunch of cocky priks with an attitude problem. Those idiots will bankrupt themselves in order to display their arrogance. And those are the ones that those dealers capitalize on.
We used to put "Dealer M/U" on the addendum... lol But hardly anyone actually pays the addendum. It's used for folks that are buried in a trade in. Did I hear you say that invoice on a Bronco is 10K? I highly doubt that.
The cheapest F 150 I've found was $41k with a bunch of crap I don't need 2008 I bought a F150 for $21k. It now has 344 k miles on it..keep it running for now..first water pump.first alternator first brake booster this year..new suspension and 3rd set of tires.. cheaper than 41k
Bro you should see how much my ford dealership wants for a dang Raptor R it’s already expensive and they still ask for $20k or more over msrp 🤦🏻♂️ I think I rather just order and wait
The only entities needing a super duty are utility fleets, business owners needing to haul shit, vehicle transport, etc. Otherwise, why the fuck would anyone need a super duty to drive to work, store, etc?
$295 for nitrogen in the tires. Are you kidding me with that. If they charged only $5 they would still make money.
air is 78% nitrogen anyway. i can go to wawa across the street at work and get free air.
@@holasoyalejandro9822 right. It’s rediculous

I will never buy, new or used, from a dealer again.
NEVER.
Then who do u go to?
Charging $295 for nitrogen in tires is a scam....
Totally !!
Air contain 78-79 % Nitrogen so why do you need such worthless item. (1-2% other elements)
Especially, when you can get it for free at Costco.
It's not a scam. It's their price. You don't have to pay it.
@@rorosnusnu2035well when you put it on every single car in the dealership, we usually have a problem no?
Thats why they have a row sitting there. Hopefully they go out of business.
Going out of business is not a worthy goal, we want a fair competitive price that the dealer can survive and something we can afford.
No Actions No Consequences
Nitrogen that costs 4 dollars they charge 300, these people have no morals.
People must be absolutely stupid to believe in this BS, nothing wrong in CO2.
Nitrogen , doesn`t really do anything for passenger vechicals. Nitrogen is mostly used for race cars.
do they say how much nitrogen?...the atmosphere is 78% nitrogen...
4 bucks? You can inflate your tires with 100% Nitrogen at Costco. FOR FREE.
No government bailouts at the tax payers expense please.
Bailout is fine, as long as it’s paid back with interest.
They can put whatever price they like on the window sticker, does't look like the customers are beating down that grifter's doors, does it? Those cars, trucks will sit at that dump and rot.
$295 for inflated tires? It's no wonder the dealer is "RICH"
And you probably won’t even get a full tank of gas when u buy either! I bought a 30k truck years ago and they only gave me 8 gallons of gas. That by law, was what they were required to give me. Some of the employees had been stealing gas so they took it out on us buyers. Kraziness out here
Really slimy. They don't advertise any of that on the website. Its only on the lot. People are so sick of this nonsense.
Simple, walk away without even walking in the building.
Is that rich ford in Albuquerque?
Let them tires rot .😂

Ironically “rich” is in the name of the dealership

Stop buying from these stealerships
That’s crazy, over here in Houston, TX, they got Bronco Big Bend models for 31-33K.
That’s crazy! Are they the bronco sports?
@ yep
Can't wait to buy a car from AMAZON 😂
Overnight primed too
Pure theft
Dang, That’s Bold statement with those Additional Dealer Profit 😂😂😂
Those Stealerships not even trying hiding their greediness 😅😂😂👎
That's not even greedy. It's being STOOPID. I'd walk away before even walking in the showroom.
300 bucks to put air in the tires.
seriously, dealers cant get rid of these at retail
The sale happens when perceived value exceeds cost. In these cases that will be never.
i once sold cars myself, a long time ago. back then there was no 10k gross on a car at msrp
If that addendum sticker is not an effective customer repellent, i don’t know what is. They must believe their products are rare commodities only found at their store and competitors don’t exist.
Addendum stickers will get less crazy when folks stop trying to trade in cars that they are 20K upside down in.
Yeah, good luck with that lmao
Market adjustment aka dealer profit!? that is as BOLD as it gets!!
Nitrogen tires? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Tesla showed us that dealerships are a scam
Remember who owns Tesla .That should say it all.
Tesla is the very definition of a scam. lol
20k tops 😂
Not even a supply and demand crisis anymore. There’s a does dealership near the city limits that has land property down the street with overstock 😂

absolutely. junk product.
This is why i hate buying a car. And although I hated EV, I had to go out and buy aTesla cuz i didn't have to negotiate..

sickening mind bending
You can take a lot of Lyft rides for $60k..

The only entities needing a super duty are utility fleets, business owners needing to haul shit, vehicle transport, etc. Otherwise, why the fuck would anyone need a super duty to drive to work, store, etc?
You’d be surprised 😂
Then there’s quarterly and yearly bonuses for meeting sales targets. Obscene to put those garbage add ons.
And ford wonders why there sales are down.
This is rape in the worst way
Its not the dealers fault stupid people pay stupid prices 🤣🤣
Look at the reviews for this dealership, approaching 5 stars out of 5500 reviews. The dealer must be doing something right
They wouldn't be doing it if nobody's paying itm
They are going to go broke
ROFL I wouldn’t buy that piece of shit bronco for 35k
