  • Clamps, fixtures, and probes are commonly found on a CNC machine, but colliding with any of them even one time would be a costly mistake. If you import hardware fixtures into your Mastercam project, you can more accurately represent the machine environment and plan ahead. In this webinar we show you where to find commonly used fixtures to download and how to add them to your project, how to precisely position everything relative to the part geometry, and check for collision and clearance in Simulation to ensure your program will be safe to run. Save time on future projects by saving these components into a library to quickly reuse.
Our expert covers the basic workflow, including many tips and tricks, on these topics:
-Where to find and download fixture models
-How to add and locate fixtures
-How to include fixtures in simulation for collision checking
-How to standardize common components for re-use

5:00 you can also change the gnomon by clicking the little rectangle left under the gnomon. when you are done moving the gnomon, press it again and you can move the part again but im sure you already know that^^
