It's not self explanatory/user friendly, it has a CLUTTERED-UP feeling to it. Been using it since v9, & as usual the main issues/glitches never get fixed.
As a feature cam user. Ive been trying to learn Mastercam for awhile now.. nothing is user friendly and completely compartmentalized. even the codes are 3x longer than they need to be.
Mastercam should follow what Autodesk Featurecam can do with solids feature recognition is a time saving thing u tell it the stock now is up higher by .100 and .500 each side and it goes by that and changes to it on programing Mastercam is just all manually doing it's on you and Featurecam of course you can change it's depths or step overs and you want to face mill well it goes according to your stop you defined....Mastercam nope it's on you again ....
New stock setup is clunky, there isn't an easy way to define exactly how much stock that exists above Z0, once again they made our lives so much easier.

HOW DO YOU TURN OFF THE GREEN MACHINE? NOT USER FRIENDLY.

I hate the thing that I need to learn mastercam because its the only software used in canada
