Love it! Here is one that I accidently discovered: selecting a drill size in 2d toolpath drilling - "tool diameter" - select "equal" from drop down menu than in highlighted "size window" type letter "Q" than enter, this will pop up very handy "Number and letter drill size" chart.
do you use MILL or LATHE for 4axis or 5 axis machining you know when you chose MACHINE ?? before toolpaths or does it matter? say my machine was a DMG DMU or a Mazak full 5 axis
thank you man. appreciate it. I'ld love to see mill and late operation of part from start of geometry built to machining. it could be a whole series of videos...
I have the same Mouse! It helps out so much!!!! Oh, and thank you for all the helpful videos. been using MC since MC3, in the early 90's. I've only had RUclips Training
I have a question you might be able to help me with . Ok so how Do I change the chosen hi light feature so I know iv picked the correct button . Like when you chain somthing you must click on the edges button or faces button or loop button. I am useing mastercam 2023 and it’s hard to tell what I picked because it’s just a very small dotted line Around the choice. Iv looked a little but inside of options but can’t seem to find it. Thanks for your help
I'd love to see a video on Rolling wireframe geometry onto a radius. I have a logo I need to engrave with my c axis lathe. However when I roll the wireframe it distorts it. I'd also love to see more videos on 4 Axis Lathe Programming.
I have an unrelated question, there's apparently no documentation on this that I could find. When I use "verify" or the simulator, Mastercam keeps adding a bunch of moves to the part zero between each operation for no reasons. Of course this generates a bunch of collisions.
Did you figure it out? I had this problem and if it’s the same one as yours I figured out the problem. Go to “ Configuration “ then down to “ Simulation “ and DESELECT “ Tool starts from home position after tool change “ and “ Go to home position on tool plane change “
the edit selected was a solid tip
edit common parameters. omfg this tip will change my life for the better!
Def a time saver!

@Christopher Columbus Mill is Haas VF2 and my rotator is Haas HRT160SPH. I don't have an access to MasterCam multiaxis with my current licence...
Nice vid, awesome tips.. super clear... good job
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent tips.. thanks!!
Thank you👍
Awesome video, very useful, even for me an X9 user still!!! Thank you and cheers from Argentina!!

If you are using Windows 11, not much you can do right now. Hopefully Mastercam addresses this issue soon.
Bruhhh the last tip 😂 i no longer have to turn every toolpath coolant on 1by1
How do I add the number to the tool in masterCam? (Change the Post)
for sample:
N01 T01 ( 1/2 endmill / H 01)
H43 H01
Thank you
You would need to do a post edit for that.

@@MachinistEdgar Turn out my problem was fixed by an upgrade !
자료에진심으로감사합니다.마스터캠을사용한지10년이넘어가지만항상pc사양에고민이많습니다.영상제작에사용된pc사양을알려준다면더욱고맙겠습니디.
As long as you have a dedicated video card you should be good to run Mastercam.
I wish I had a computer
Sometimes you can find decent used computers or laptops for cheap on sites like Craigs List or Kijiji.
