- The "Diesel Air Filter Cleaner" can save 3-5 gallons of fuel an hour for any large diesel vehicle. Now when you think of it, when you have multiple vehicles out in a field for 15 hours a day, that's a whole lot of savings! up to 225 gallons a day, if your running 3 combines for 15 hour harvest days, with diesel fuel reaching roughly around $3.75 a gallon that's $843.75 savings a day! And if you have a semi, or even multiple semis out 8 hours a day every day the savings will sky rocket! So if you really wanna get the most out of your yearly income this product is a MUST!!!
I feel like some of these comments are focused on freeway driven trucks. Construction based diesel filters like graders, loaders, street sweepers where the filters load up like these on a daily basis would benefit most from this....can’t afford to replace an air filter every day
its amazing how much dirt they will actually hold.just one cleaning removes enough dirt that would "dust" an engine permanently.
May I suggest adding a fixed cage around the rotating nozzles to prevent accidental damage to the inside of the filters,
Great tool to have in the construction equipment....a must have tool.
Others recommend wet washing with H2O & detergent, though even then, something like a 20% reduction in filter efficiency will result from each wet washing. be sure no grit contaminates the inside clean surfaces.
For god sake wear a decent face mask
And the website to buy this from is what ????
I like it !
I can totally understand old school ways but now, I would toss it in the trash. I’m not able to stick that tool down my nostrils to clean out my lungs 🫁.
U guys ever heard of K&N air filter? I run that on my semi. Yup, a direct fit filter... Those are meant to be cleaned, heck u power-wash them and let them air dry... Take a look. Well worth it.
Have you ever seen all the FINE dust they let thru for your money maker engine to ingest and get worn from the inside out ?
I DID.
I had plenty of CAI and stock inductions with K&N filters on FOUR F-Bodies, no matter how clean and lubed, they always left crap fly beyond the filtering media and into my precious engines.
NO THANKS. W/E they claim is total B/S. The reusable part and "money saved" is not worth it.
My personal experience, your "mileage" may vary.
K & N air filters that can be cleaned are NOT to be used on diesel engines. Dusting of an engine is very likely with these. Best bet there is stock, or what came on the truck or tractor or powerplant.
Um good idea but, I don't think you want to push the dirt through the filter because on a big truck the inside of the filter is where the outside air goes through and gets cleaned.
funny my highway tractor draws air from the outside/in, as well as my tandems and tractors and combines and most equipment.
Help ka filter khol ke gadi chalane Se Kya gadi Mala Jyada deta hai
I would toss them old dirty filters out. I would not use this thing on any of my equipment filters
just replace it every 3 mos. there like 50 bucks it's not that bad
Do the math....in the construction equipment they have to be cleaned out daily.
It's cheaper to just clean them.....and if you install a gauge....atleast the gauge can tell you if it's plugged.
But if im not paying for the filters....then I guess your right....
They are 100
Obviously these investors and the creator of these product did go go to diesel school or have a slight idea that if you blow your air filter with shop air you damage the walls of the filter that's the reason they are not that expensive
Obviously you would need to buy one and use it on some good filters and prove that it damaged them before running off at the mouth.
Ok so the guys that spend thousands of dollars developing these air filters don't know their product and guess what I rather pay 50 every 3 months. Do you know where that air goes once it leaves the air filter. It goes to your turbo it goes to your air brake Compresor it goes to your egr valve so I rather spend 50 every other month have a great one
@@AtlanticTransportation ag equipment is blown out daily, so that's 50$ per day you would be spending on ONE filter let alone the other half dozen around the farm. These are products that are developed for ag use not neccessarily ONLY for highway tractor use.
and why are those filter that dirty anyway
Craig James they are dirty because these filters are used in things like tractors and loaders, which are used in the field or on a job site where it is WAY more dusty then on a highway. They need to be cleaned almost on the daily.
Its a diesel engine air filter. that's way it so dirty
We had one of these at the shop and it lasted less than a month. Too many variables in filter sizes, openings, lengths and ass clowns trying to use the damn thing.

Now his lungs are full of the crap.
No worse than the crack he’ll be smoking on tinfoil later this evening.
@Evil Cactus not exhaust, that is dust from the air intake
Facebook or website to contact DAFC.
OK, that thing is garbage.
The air travels through the center to the outside and into your engine. So if you're cleaning it from the inside out, then you're shoving all that dirt through to the outside. When you should be shoving it the way it originally came in.
