Great Sig! I'm a fan of Shield razors and Mike and he is really bringing it! This one is pretty interesting and for someone trying to figure out what they would like, a good option. There are a number of ones I want to get and his adjustable DE plate looks really cool. I hope he does an OC and maybe his own take on a slant razor sometime. I did have someone mention to him an idea I've been thinking about, which is an SE slant. I'm not frugal with putting out ideas and if someone uses them or not, it's fine either way. I just like to think out of the box when I can when it comes to wet shaving and try to keep things fresh and moving forward to keep the community alive and growing. I think I've got a good idea for a travel scoop for you, but first try I just went way to far and made it way too special. I was trying out some other new ideas at the same time, but I think I've got a good model to go with for one in the near future. Take care!

The duel type razor is is very innovative. Once I found the AC angle it was super smooth sailing.
I like the design of the adjustable and I think it'll change adjustable game as we know it. The slant sounds like a great idea. The new De with the .95mm gap and .05mm exposure shaves phenomenal, too...
I like the idea of a travel scooper; and I know you'll nail it once you get your mind zoomed in on the design!! I'm looking forward to seeing it!!

Interesting combo idea but I prefer two separate razors because the SE blade is so much shorter than the AC blade. I have been looking at the AL SE razor (standalone) as I already have a Shield Ti AC razor (V2). I have some soaps becoming dry and crumbly but they still work well even though cab get some soap pieces in the lather.👍🤠🤟 WAD🤟

It's can be used with only one blade in it; but the point about the 1/2 DE blades' size is a valid one. I also mentioned it in the the vid...🙃
I usually use a stiffer knot with the older and flakier soaps... Sometimes I forget...🤭

Did the creator of this razor indicate that it should be used with both blades loaded for all shaves? Either way, that is the most unique razor I have ever seen.

No, Mike made the razor for the user to decide. AC, SE or both. Whatever your feel like. One razor fits all kind of thing.
Once I found the angle on the AC I got great shaves from both sides!

Just received the titanium version, it's just as I thought. It has a little more heft than the regular SE version, the weight of the razor can do more work. Do you use the washer with your Shield 🛡️ razors?

#1, in my opinion, certainly it's a very novel concept and approach with a strong touch of originality on SE Razors, but I am not sure it's as practical as it appears on the surface. I think fans of each of the blade styles are, probably, are more likely to stick with the favored blade type... But what do I know, I am wearing a Santa Claus hat on March 1st 😂
#2. Language Lesson 😊..The sword duo carried by Samurai is called Daisho . which literally translates to Big- Short Knife('To' can mean blade or knife), but if you really want to impress; Katana and Wakizashi😅😂😊
