Was just wondering what has been going on with the mod since nothing has happened in a long time; almost a year it seems. I just hope once the creator's other mods (Alex's Caves and Alex's Mobs) are near complete, they can come back to working on Ice and Fire, which is definitely the most popular and anticipated of their mods I find.
Mm, the mods won't be finished for a long time. Mobs still has future updates and 'Caves has only just started. The release is soon but there are supposed to be 12 more caves added as updates in the future; if not more. So, Ice and Fire might get worked on when the focus is off of the two. Or not, it depends. I'm pretty sure Alex just finds Alex's Mobs and Caves more fun to work on, which is just how it is.
Imagine, if/when the mod gets updated to 1.19+, the Warden is actually afraid of larger dragons, like the types that would normally spawn in or around the Deep Dark

Oh please it's only been a month since an update. And besides, It's a mod and the fine folks that are working on it aren't exactly Big time Videogame Developers who are scheduled to invent new games every 5 years. And besides, Even if Ice and Fire does take a while to update, It's certainly better than the garbage Mojang is drumming up these days.
Yeah, people are asking for CONTENT updates, not patches, though. Alas, a mod is a modification, not a entirely new game. That isn't quite an excuse. A realistic one would be that it is completely up to them when, how and why they publish a mod and or work on one, and that it is entirely their own free time they spend. And lastly, I think it's quite a different scenario comparing a little group of developers to a studio that has a reputation to uphold. And other factors.

I think alex is focusing on alexs caves and once that is released he will give us a content update
