Man! Y'all are making incredible progress!!! You have done an amazing job at planning where everything will go. The shiplap looks great! Getting your materials so you could immediately start on the next day was brilliant! I love the way you work together. ❤ You know when you get tired of traveling, you will be able to build out and sell vans. People will be lining up to get one of your vans! Have a great week! We love y'all so much! From SC, your friend, Jane ❤🙏 That PVC bend pipe was brilliant!
Aw, thank you so much Jane! We always love seeing your name pop up, your comments are so kind and uplifting. 💚 We hope you’re having a great start to your week!
Great Work on the van you 2! LOL, Old man in me saying, get your rest, stay hydrated (Water) & A moment of safety saves a lifetime of regret. Take Care!
NICE WORK LOOKS GREAT. Just a few well meaning comment to take or leave as you please. 1) In 50 years of RV use I always placed my fresh water pumps at the same ground level as the fresh water tank outlet because they don't have any great suction force to start with and are less likely to lose prime (NOT saying they would) if there's always gravity pressure against their inlet (NO suction required that way as if the pump inlet is HIGHER than the tank where yours is mounted). Im NOT saying it wont work, but ONLY if gravity is forcing water into the pumps inlet its best IN MY OPINION (no suction required)........ 2) NICE selection of large DC cables to run from the engines alternator back to your house batteries !!!!!!!!! Im sure you know a DC to DC charger is required between the alternator and your house batteries ESPECIALLY if they are different chemistry such as Lithium. 3) Just in case you're not already aware as I bet you are. In your AC power distribution panel the Equipment Ground Buss (typical Green/Bare wire) needs a bond to the RV frame,,,,,,,,To the panels case/frame BUT NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT TO THE NEUTRAL BUSS (where white Neutrals attach) . An RV panel is considered as a Sub Panel and therefore requires separate insulated and isolated Ground and Neutral Busses unlike in your home.. Any DC to AC Inverter you use should be configured with a BONDED Neutral as well as any small portable generator which often come from the factory with a FLOATING NEUTRAL.......ESPECIALLY if you have an EMS Best wishes hope this helps KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK John T BSEE,JD Retired Electrical Power Distribution Engineer and 50 year RV owner
That is looking so good! I’m loving the nocturnal build. Such a great plan of attack. I hope that when you are done, you can both get your circadian rhythms back in sync with daylight for your mental health. Great progress!
Thank you! Building at night has been really helping our productivity, but we are honestly so ready to get back on a ‘normal’ schedule! 😅 We’ve felt like total hermits for the last few weeks 😂
I suggest you change the line from the tank to the pump. Getting rid of the up then down loop will allow the water to get to the pump without an air lock which can degrade the flow from the pump.
Awesome video!!! Thanks for showing the fresh water plumbing!! That will be very helpful when I start my van. I’m going into this with absolutely no experience so learning these things from you is so awesome!!
Hey, we started converting the bus without any experience, so it can definitely be done! We can’t wait to hear about your build! We’re super excited for you! 💚😊
I love that dark brown ceiling with white walls, very classy and professional looking. The water system looks like it will be easy to work on and troubleshoot if that becomes necessary. You two are pros!
If you have an exhaust fan in the van and you turn it on, I have heard it will overwhelm the toilet vent fan and pull the toilet vapors into your van. Suggestion don’t fill the screw hole for at least a year, that way if you need to access something behind the wall it will be easier to access them, you could also go back and install cup washers to give it a more finished look with filling and painting. Maybe a tankless water heater as an upgrade down the road.
It's amazing how you two have evolved since starting building the bus, then starting your first trips, all the unknowns forming the knowledge of real van life living. Then, deciding to get this awesome Ram ProMaster, and doing this classy, stylish, quality build and getting closer to the day you'll set sail in your amazing new stylish van life adventures. WOW!!!!! It's a joyous blessing and fun for us all as you two share your adventures with us. Thank you for all the extra efforts you are doing to share your stories. It's a real joy🙏🌻🎶🌸🧚♀️
Construction has really come a long way. Surprising how much you were able to get done. Before you realize it you'll be finished and living in your new dream home.
When you get your kitchen faucet think about getting one you pull out hose to fill a pot or put out the window with a spray for a outdoor shower. Iam enjoying watching the night shift. I was a nightshade Nurse my whole life.
I’m amazed with all the two of you accomplish together. You make it look so seamless but I’m quite sure you have many obstacles to overcome in a project like this. So many fun travels up ahead for the two of you. 💕💕
Congrats on the build-out guys, it looks amazing!! We barely filmed during our renovations because it just felt too overwhelming so you guys creating content and building is mindblowing!! Best of luck with the rest of the build, hope to see you guys out on the road someday! -Cody
That is a ton of progress. Only thing I would mention is that 40 gal is a ton of weight so you don't want that weight behind the rear axle, if possible, especially on a front wheel drive vehicle.
Yall are doing a great job. It's going a whole lot faster than I'd anticipated considering when you first made the decision to build out a van you didn't have 1)a van 2) a place to work 3)the tools and 4) a place to live. Your teamwork and organizational skills just amaze me.
At minimum you should prime and apply 1 coat of paint. Being in a van the humidity you'll have back priming and back painting will help the wood last longer. I would maybe go and use a mold/mildew bathroom paint for the backside of the wood
When you change diameters of pipe, each size of pipe is double the capacity of the one size smaller. A 3/4' pipe has twice the capacity of a 1/2" pipe. You need more than 3 1/2 inch tubes to match the capacity of a 1 1/2" pipe.
I love how you two framed out that big window. There are not a lot of videos on how to do that. OMG I also had no idea about the holes and air vents. You’ve changed my plan on how we’re going to vent out the toilet. It’s looking beautiful.
Amazing job and so much fun to watch! Thank you for sharing this part of your journey. Looking forward to following along with you when you are back on the road!
Glad to see the build coming along. You guys have planned and have everything where you want it. Good Job!! Well, till next week guys as always "Enjoy The Adventure." 🤠👍✌
The van build is looking good. Very excited for you two. Very cool that you two are living your dream. Can't wait to see it done and you hit the road in the new van. Looking forward to the next video. Also have to say, you two are so cute together.
you may want to read up on pump location instructions. because it is higher than the tank it may need to be lower than water level to draw in water. otherwise looks awesome
Amazing innovation!!! You two are America's Van Build Sweethearts. Regular Nelson Eddy and Jeannette McDonald of the van world! (* I realize you probably don't know who they are since they were from my mother's era) Super excited for you!
Your build is going great! The ceiling and floor works well with the shiplap! I wish I would have thought about this earlier, but putting mail plates on the framing where your wires and plumbing are routed, they protect the utilities from getting damaged by screws and nails that you might put in the walls. I am so sorry I didn’t think about it before! I am anxious to see the van when it’s all done! God bless you both
You two are so inspirational! My hubby and I are retiring and planning to rv full time but watching you both makes me wish we did this at your age! So fun to watch your progress!
I love the way Natalie looks at you Jimmy. That's pure love right there. Congratulations on all that is in front of you. Love you guys
Aw, thank you so much! That’s so sweet! We definitely couldn’t do this if we didn’t have each other! 💚😄

What an adorable couple.
The two of you work so well together. I’m impressed with how well the van is turning out. Excellent job.

I can't believe how far you have come with the build. It's looking great.
Thank you Roseanne! 💚 It’s been fun for us to see the build start to take shape! 😄
Great Work on the van you 2! LOL, Old man in me saying, get your rest, stay hydrated (Water) & A moment of safety saves a lifetime of regret. Take Care!
Coffee Stipend!
Hey Mitchell! Thank you so much!! 💚☕️
The word “awesome” is, IMHO, seriously over-used these days, but what you wonderful people have achieved so far is, truly awesome! I’m loving this.
Wow you both work so well together. Great reno, love the walls and the ceiling. I am excited to see the van when it is done.
We can’t wait to see how it all turns out either, so thanks for sharing our excitement! 😄
We love you two! Highlight of our week is seeing your progress! You are a great team!
Thank you! That really means a lot to us! 💚😊
This is lookin great! It’s obvious you plan well and it shows with all the little touches. And it works!!
Yay! Mike just asked about y’all! Glad to see this! We’ll watch you on the big screen in just a minute! So exciting!!! ❤️Jane in SC
Aw, that’s nice! It’s good to be back! 😄💚
@@JimmyandNatalie We love you!!!! ❤🙏 You are in prayers for safety and clarity for what you need. Hugs.
That's awesome that there are built in holes on the bottom of the van! The van is looking great so far.
Yay!!!! We have all been worried about you guys!!!! ❤️❤️
Hey! Yes we’re back!! 💚 Last week we took a break to be with Jimmy’s sister for her bachelorette party! 😄

The two of you are adorable! Your videos are fantastic!! THANK YOU!
You have done so much in such a short period of time, I have no doubt you will finish soon and back on the road in no time.
Looking amazing. It will be home in no time. Y'all have learned so much with the schoolie~ this buildout is much less scary!
Use the makerspace... 3d print an adapter to hold the 3 small hoses and feed into the larger diameter pipe.
I suggest you change the line from the tank to the pump. Getting rid of the up then down loop will allow the water to get to the pump without an air lock which can degrade the flow from the pump.

Love you two ! Working brilliantly together on the night shift, it's coming on in leaps and bounds, well done and keep it going !
Thanks Roy! 😄 We’re really working hard, so it’s a relief to see you say that! 💚
You guys are Master Van builders.
Looking amazing kids!!!!!❤️🚐
I love that dark brown ceiling with white walls, very classy and professional looking. The water system looks like it will be easy to work on and troubleshoot if that becomes necessary. You two are pros!
so glad your back ... missed you last week

I just love you guys. 😍
It's looking really good guys. See you next week.
Hey! Thanks Paul! 💚
Maybe need a check valve on inlet side of pump since pump is higher than the tank so pump does not loose prime. Great job looking fantastic!!
Jimmy acts like an absolute PRO at this! Natalie has a lot of backbone in this relationship
I’m amazed with all the two of you accomplish together. You make it look so seamless but I’m quite sure you have many obstacles to overcome in a project like this. So many fun travels up ahead for the two of you. 💕💕
You still have the bus, great job on the build, missed you 2 last week
Have your sink faucet be able to turn outside window in case you want an out door shower

Great job, Vanpires! I’m so proud of you two (and the kitties say, “MEOW!”)
Whoop, whoop, whoop! WTG!
You two make a great team!!
You two are adorable! I don't understand how you still have less than 100K subs. I've been spreading the word. Nice work, BTW.

Awesome you’re getting there!
Looks beautiful‼️
great job, make sure while driving around that blue pipe doesnt rub through on the bed rail and cause a leak 20:18
