You know... Florida is not too far from Texas ;) ;) and you know you want to build another bus lol.... looks so good guys! The makers space was such a great move, y'all are cruising!!
Looks GREAT. The Small white Wall to the right of your Stove you may want to or maybe you have done already, paint it with Clear shiny coat so if anything Splashes on it from the Stove, you can wipe off easily. Just a suggestion.
Hey y’all…I’ve been enjoying your videos for a while now, and I think this is maybe the second time ever I’ve thrown down a comment on RUclips - but I couldn’t resist jumping on here to tell you that your kitchen is absolutely bangin’. You have every right to toot your own horn…it’s a pleasure watching you guys blossom into master craftsmen!
You two really have some great skills in designing and building your new van. Well laid out. You might consider putting ratchet straps over the refrigerator to keep it from moving around.
For over 30 years I got up @ 5am and was on the road by 6 so I saw the sunrise each & every workday. The first 10 years are great but after that it gets kinda old. !
You guys are awesome, the love and respect you have for each other is so nice to see, as is the way you work together . I love your craftsmanship and care in construction. This is so fun to see taking shape----can you imagine the adventures you will have?
Looks fantastic! We used the same wood for the countertops in our vintage. It has held up well for 8 years now. The van is looking great. Oh and you can never have to much white in a small space and with the wood accents y’all have the perfect balance. ❤️
Jimmy & Natalie, first and foremost i think the two of you are freaking amazing humans! You make an adorable couple plus the way you work as a team and are very loving and playful towards each other is refreshing to see. Your van build is turning out so beautiful. I love the colors and materials you guys have chosen. Keep up the great work! Many blessings to the two of you!
Nice to meet you guys today! I appreciate you taking 2 minutes to talk to me and I appreciate what you guys are doing! We built a log cabin and it took us a year to complete it.
@@JimmyandNatalie Just got home from Yellowstone (almost no cell service or wifi). I hope I didn't come across as an internet stalker. Just a guy in town waiting for my son on a different flight. I figured out where you were at from a previous video and figured I would give it a chance. Keep up the good work and enjoy your travels! (I wish I had done what you are doing when I was younger)
You guys should take the piece of counter you cut out for the sink and finish it to be a drop in covering the sink when not it use. It makes a great counter extension and you can store items in the sink when traveling without worry.
the conversion is really coming along, you both must be exhausted, I hope you are able to get some down time to re-energize. I look forward to Mondays to see your progress.
That induction cooktop is IMO the best choice, and it was smart to put the computer fan in. My induction cooker has a fan that cools its electronics, and your computer fan will vent that heat before it warms the air around the fridge. Good planning! The van is looking better and better. I like the peel and stick "brick" backsplash and the colors are working together well I can see the layout now and I like it too.
Awesome job guys. It's great to see a young couple living so freely and not conforming to the lifestyle that society demands. Wishing you two many happy years and trips together. Oh, Jimmy you hit the jackpot in the girlfriend department. She's absolutely precious. Take care of her young man, she loves you more than you know. You can see it in her eyes. Marry that young lady!
You will like the white it makes it brighter, the natural wood ceiling and top is a nice contrast. Your drawing for the draw pieces is normal, its called a cut list. Glad you got the black faucet. The whole build looks real nice and craftsman style. Look forward to your videos.
You took hamburger and with a brush stroke it became Kobe beef…..your “inexpensive “ wood looks so beautiful and the peel and stick tile makes the space… the color palette you chose makes the inside if the van so bright….have you guys considered going into the van building business ….you are such clever builders that your van is a model of what you can do…Bravo guys it is looking great…
Guys the cut out for the sink, finish that piece of wood and pop it back in to cover your sink as a chopping board, it will give you extra counter space and a chopping board 😊😊👌👌
Congratulations on your progress so far (from a fellow South Carolinian now living in Alabama). I am really proud of y'all. I am guessing that you are from upstate. I grew up in the Low Country, and many years ago went to the instate rival of your school. Best of luck.
Thank you so much, we really appreciate it!! And as for the rival school, we both actually have family that went there! It's a great school, we always enjoy visiting the campus! 😄
WOW! Pancake is looking so great! You guys are doing an amazing job. Natalie I don't think there is too much white, love the black accents and lighter wood tones!! I'm super impressed!
First off, I love y'all's videos! And I really like this one because there's a lot of good information! I mean the best way to learn is to watch other people along their way and then you know I'll run into things that I learn along the way as well and pass them on. In fact I think I'm going to make a RUclips channel just so you guys can see how crazy my build is I love the idea with the peel and stick tile!! It definitely weighs less and as long as it's a good flat surface, well you know!? It's definitely going to make putting my kitchen in easier.
Loved the intro your right we really don’t see all the hard work behind the scenes. The Math , planning all the cuts, sanding, painting crazy amount of progress this week Kudos!! Till next week Be We’ll Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
Absolutely brilliant. You've both done a fantastic job on Pancake 🥞 I love the way you both work together so well, looking forward to seeing the next steps of the build.
Your build is amazing. We look forward to watching y'all each week. Love love your counter top. We just bought an 1977 Chevy 1ton 4x4 van. Y'all are giving us all kinds of ideas 💡. Love watching y'all
I hope your going to put black handles on the cabinet doors and drawers to tie everything together. I love the look but may I make one suggestion... I would put some peel and stick tile on that little divider wall next to the cook top. You also might want to install some kind of lighting under the upper cabinet over the counter top.
I have a household induction cooktop/oven that I love. Induction actually saves time and money while cooking. It may be an initial power draw, but it heats food up so much faster that it saves run time. I find that it heats the kitchen up much less in the summer, too. My household cooktop boils water faster than my microwave! The van is looking great. Can’t wait to see it finished.
On your Counter you can put a flip up extension counter and make it long enough to still give you 2 feet of space to get in and out (just a squeeze by😂) But you get needed counter space when needed and flip it down when not in use.
Omg guys the kitchen is just adorable!! Jimmy you are an amazing wood worker. You and Natalie work so well together. I see the bus is still there. I've been working on a loan but no go yet. TFS your fabulous work. Blessings 💕🌈
Great job. If you need any tips and fixing the drawers and making them slide smoother let me know. Also pre-drilling for wood screws is always a good idea and help from messing up the threads. I would also suggest that you give several more coats of your final finish on the pine edges at your sink especially the end grain.
You guys are doing an amazing job on this build!!! I love the colors, the materials and the layout. I am impressed. You are both an inspiration! I can't wait until you get back on the road.
LOVE what you're doing with the van, all your ideas, hard work, attention to detail...I loved watching your bus build, but this is even better...well done the two of you ! 👏 😎❤ Suzy, UK
I know it's to late but if you ever think to change things, think about the back of dinette flipping over so it would make the sofa a little longer. Just a thought. Love you guy. So talented and respectful of each other.
Watching a video the other day of someone who completed the band build suggested that you take the vehicle out for a drive every time you have finished a component to check for noises and rubs and squeaks because if you wait until the end of the build you usually can't figure out what it is and when you do you can't fix it. I thought it was great advice that I'm going to heed myself in the near future. You guys are doing great been having fun watching you
You're doing such a great job!!! Everything looks amazing! I'm soooooo proud of you!!! Just occured to me, seeing the bus parked next to the van, what's going on with that?? How are you going to deal with that when you go to the wedding? Or are you planning on coming back after the wedding? Keep up the good work!!! See you next week. 🍃🤗🍃🦋🍃
I must say I have really enjoyed watching you two work on your new build, you make such an awesome team.. I can’t wait to see you hit the road and on to new adventures.. Craig
I’ve been building cabinets for decades, the drawer guides you choose are frugal but will rattle because they only have two points of contact. For a quieter drawer while driving should have gone with at least ball bearing side mounts. They even come in soft close
Some of the best Design Engineers I knew took time to draw out everything.
Hey guys! Pancake has truly formed into a beautiful, comfy tiny home on wheels. She is practical, she is functional, she is gorgeous! 😍🤙🏼❤
If you need a side business, building vans is right up your alley. Doing a great job!

Thank you so much!! 💚 We are THRILLED with how it turned out! 🥳😄

I Love all the White! Its not too much. You two are doing a great job!

Definitely! Imagining our future adventures with this van has really kept us going! 😄 We should be back on the road soon enough! 🤞
Looks fantastic! We used the same wood for the countertops in our vintage. It has held up well for 8 years now. The van is looking great. Oh and you can never have to much white in a small space and with the wood accents y’all have the perfect balance. ❤️
You guys are absolutely crushing this build?? You also work together as a team and that's probably the reason you're crushing it .....actually.
Jimmy & Natalie, first and foremost i think the two of you are freaking amazing humans! I love the colors and materials you guys have chosen. Keep up the great work! Many blessings to the two of you!
This has been one of the best van build series I have watched, and I've watched a lot and done my own van build too.
Wow, thank you!! 💚 We really appreciate that, there are some very good ones out there! 😄
Guys! Looking AMAZING!! GREAT JOB✌
Great job! One suggestion is toe kick drawers or hidden space for computers or other items to keep them safe.
Your Van is Gorgeous!!!
WOW!!!!!
IM Sooo Impressed on your build!!!
Can't wait til next week to see more!!!!!
Great job...guys!!!
Nice to meet you guys today! I appreciate you taking 2 minutes to talk to me and I appreciate what you guys are doing! We built a log cabin and it took us a year to complete it.
Hey! Glad we got a chance to meet! 😄

How many weeks do you plan to travel in this one before moving on? What's next? A boat? Plane? Boxcar?
LOOKING GREAT!!!! I AM Soooo THRILLED & HAPPY for y'all, God bless
You guys are blowing through this build, and it looks awesome! Great teamwork! :)
Thanks Anyssa! Teamwork makes the dream work! 😄💚
I think you guys are a really nice couple. Very real. All the best to you.
Kitchen looks amazing. 🤞 you'll have 95% of the van finished before the wedding. Keep up your hard work.

You guys are Rock Star’s!! Pancake looks awesome, I’m so proud of you two.
Aw, thank you! 🥰 We're really doing our best with it, so that's very nice to hear! 😄💚
Man you guys are awesome!!!! The Van is looking so WOW!
I think you’ll love the black and white. you can add color when all your stuff is moved in. The van looks awesome!

I'm glad you didn't demand the gold faucet. The dark looks much nicer.
Guys the cut out for the sink, finish that piece of wood and pop it back in to cover your sink as a chopping board, it will give you extra counter space and a chopping board 😊😊👌👌

I really like the light oak with white it makes the space seem larger. Yall are doing a really great job in short time.
You both are so genuine and boy do you do good work. I love ❤️ the van 🚐
WOW! Pancake is looking so great! You guys are doing an amazing job. Natalie I don't think there is too much white, love the black accents and lighter wood tones!! I'm super impressed!
I like the outside shower idea, they sell those little outside pop up shower tents.🤔 Everything looks really nice 👍

Great work guys. Keeping my fingers crossed for completing all in time for your sister's wedding Jimmy. 🍀💚🍀💚🍀
Your choices are great...especially the cooktop. I would not want propane. Btw, the black faucet is perfect.
I love your kitchen. I love watching you two build your bus. Mondays are happy days. I think you are doing a great job .🙌👍
I honestly can’t help but like you guys. Pretty awesome your getting really good at this. Do some other builds for other people its pretty slick!

Really nice job, guys!! As a fellow van builder, I am impressed with what you've gotten done timewise and how great it looks.

lm proud of your comment to bling things together. great job guys!
You probably have already said whether you have sold your short bus, but I have missed when it. Your van is turning out great.
Fellow South Carolinian and just wanted to say the van is coming along sooo well. Love everything you guys are doing.
I’ve been building cabinets for decades, the drawer guides you choose are frugal but will rattle because they only have two points of contact.

Jimmy! Natalie! Nice to see you again. The van is looking really good kids.
Incredibly awesome
Sure looks like a professional job from here-Well done you 2!!!!
Oh my gosh, it's looking great!
