- Homestead life in the spring, especially if you are also a mom and wife, can be very overwhelming. Here is how I keep anxiety at bay and increase my productivity while not losing my peace.

I love that idea of getting up early some days and being super productive and then resting your body and mind other days!
It has really made a difference! I used to think the goal was to be super productive every day and it just caused burn out and exhaustion.
I didn't realize it but that's what I do. I'm super productive about 3 to 4 days a week and the other days I'm more restful and laid back. It's much better for the flow of our home and my health.@@TheFromScratchFarmhouse
I love this advice so much. As an ADHDer i am so so grateful for this perspective. Thank you for sharing your gentle and graceful approach to life ❤. Needed this 🙏🏼
Thank you for being you! I love your gentle spirit. I love how real you are with expectations. Thank you for sharing your peace.
I wish I had your channel when I was homeschooling our children. Your advice is great!
Thank you so much!
You are my hero..I am a new mom and having hard time managing my time..Your video makes life feel easier and everything is doable. Thank you🙏
I’m so glad it was helpful. ❤️
This video was a god-send for me. I always felt so overwhelmed by always getting stuck in the kitchen after a long day at work. Just by switching up the time I make the meals by making breakfast the day before and prepping lunch and dinner in the morning I’ve saved 3 hours in the evenings, made 3 extra meals than I normally would be able to make, washed, dried, and put away 6 loads of laundry. I even had some quality time for myself and my family where I would normally be too tired to interact with them. Thank you so much for sharing this video with me!
❤all I can add here is check the washer is clear before bed❤😅😅😅
Yes! I definitely forget that some days. 😅
the piglets are sooooo cute! Appreciate all your advices
The piglets are super super cute ❤️
So much wisdom in this video! Busyness that’s not productive… yes, that’s my life currently.
I think most people struggle with this from time to time. ❤️
oooh, I love the idea of writing down your online research purpose/goal, and then setting the timer. That is *brilliant!*
Sometimes you just have to get it done. I completely agree-done doesn’t look the same for everyone.
This is so 🎯🎯🎯🎯
Separating distraction from obligation is not always easy! And you may have already said something similar, but when I'm overwhelmed and lacking the time or energy, I do the one thing that is stressing me most. It could be as simple as a cluttered counter or dirty toilet, but I'm always amazed at how much it makes a difference in how I'm feeling.
I’m always so encouraged by your videos.
That makes me so happy, thank you for letting me know. ❤️
So happy to hear the calf is ok! Enjoyed your video!
That little pig with the malformed ear is adorable! Excellent points, this was valuable!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was a wild 12 minutes: listening to you narrate my life!! Minus the cows and pigs and snow…the entire rest of the video was freakishly me: from the 12-year-not-yet-over-researched-chickens (but I just got a coop!) to the taxes I literally just completed before listening to this video. Thanks for the kindredness and encouragement.
Haha mine too 😂
😂 Well I love hearing that I’m not alone! ❤️ Thanks for watching.
😂😘
This was great Stacie. Ty. You have a great week.
Thank you! You too!
This is so helpful! Thank you so much!
I’m so glad you found it helpful!
Phew thought i was the only one! The dread of taxes! The countless unnecessary things that I’ve done instead of working on our taxes 😂
Ha! Yes, why do we do this?
Thank you for all the ideas! I struggle with doing something else before doing what really needs to be done!
You are welcome, same! 🫣
I do the exact same thing with my to-do list!
We're anticipating a lot of "bear running" here in the next 1 1/2 years as one of our older "kids" is moving far away and another getting married. I know myself well enough to know I need to rest throughout this season or I'm going to be a mess!
Excellant advice 🤍👍🏻
I’m going to try the idea of getting up early several days & allowing a later rising for several. We bought a farm when we retired-and are working harder than we’ve ever worked in our lives!🥴😊 I’m always tired!
I’ve subscribed so I can continue to get ideas….

Wow! Were in Central WI. It's been a wonderful winter here(nearly 70' this weekend :)....
It’s nicer this week, it took me a week to edit and post. 😅
Definitely not 70 though. 😍
Thank you for starting this discussion! I have had some health issues that have kept me from doing the things that I normally do for several months. At times I can't handle the overwhelm of what is needing to get done, others I am fine and just pick which is most important, and others I choose something because its easy and I don't want to face the difficulty. Food and food prep is something I always choose to do because I always know my large family need. I am not an earlier riser instead I stay up way to late. I do think that having some nights that I set a time to go to bed would help and then others where I could stay up a bit later. Thanks for your time and ideas!!
I’m so glad you found it helpful. Thanks for sharing. ❤️

This was so good.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Priorities who thought that word is encouraging has never been a Mom or a homemaker. Yes a well organized clean home is wonderful, but before you knpw it your babies are adults with babies of theie own and all that time stressing over an unswept floor or toothpaste on the sink lip wasn't as important. I would wake one hour before the little ones and sweep a floor quick clean a bathroom dust, at night an hour before my bedtime I make lunches for the next day and plan breakfast and dinner and wash a floor so no one had to hear say off the floor it's wet. Most days I truly spent outside weather permitting and rainy bitter cold days were for playdough, painting, board games or please no judgement Nintendo. Life ebbs and flows but babies and childhood is a blink of and eye and there will always be dust, dishes, and laundry
So true! A well organized and clean home can help create a peaceful and happy home, but it’s definitely important to remember why we are doing it all in the first place!
Can you put a link for your two favourite drinks please
I have 5 kiddos. My oldest is 7. Do you have a chore system with the kids so they can help you with things around the house? And when you are planting things like the onions like you showed in your video, so they try to come up and help you?
What organic soil do you use for trays?
It’s just whatever Walmart carries because we don’t have another source here without making our own (indoor potting soil needs baked to eliminate bugs).
Kindly let us know what are the contents of those 2 drinks in breif.. what kind of electrolyte and gut supplement?😊
I have them linked in the description. ❤️
What electrolyte packets do you use?
Honestly… not a healthy brand so I don’t have a great recommendation. 🫣 The reason is that I haven’t found a healthy brand with high enough potassium levels.
I love content like this and am striving to create some like it on my own. I would appreciate any support ❤
Thank you!
