She was doing pretty good before Rosanne.. I think Originally she was supposed to be more like Rosanne as and the Rosanne character was supposed to be like Donna Reed. She was pitched to Rossanne as a genius.

Catherine O'Hara and her were in the same episode. Seth Meyers muddles up the SNL timeline quite a bit rather than adds clarity. Laurie Metcalf was actually on the cast (as in her name was int he opening credits) for a single episode because a writer's strike happened a week after she got hired that bought down production indefinitely.

I liked her on that remake. but she is not enough to carry the show... So, I watched the first one. that was enough. the person that plays her sister, her attitude is too bitter. Also, She is not a real Deadhead. The Sister Charter the loud rude one. I think Laurie Metcalf is very good she honed her talent into a great skill. Keep up the good work...
