One of the fundamentals I had to define for myself was the simple fact of approaching each corner/edge with the least harsh angle possible. Saves the wrist and makes chose initially tricky directional changes easier. You illustrated that well- putting it into words that click in my head was a game changer for me!👍🏼
Your method is the same as what I learned. Using a brass Ettore 14. I wanted to pass on a tip. 44 years ago I learned with my index finger on the center of the handle. At some point I started holding it like you are. Finishing out often with my thumb taking the stress . I have now developed a trigger thumb. It's stuck. My helpful hint for especially older ones in our trade is to put the other hand on the squeegee hand to bury it- finish out the window. Also stretch the fingers and wrists every day. Thanks for your excellent training videos. My original boss wouldn't let us squeegee unless we got ahead of him wetting the glass😁
I like the Unger green rubber, can get sticky sometimes. Ettore is always the most reliable windowcleaner.com/products/ettore-master-squeegee-rubber?sca_ref=3020242.k17l3JaEgS
Most likely passing over to much dry glass, I did not mention it in the video but when taking down the mountain limit the amount of dry glass that the rubber is going over to prevent streaking!
