I play this piece for solo and ensemble tomorrow and I just want to comment on how helpful this has recording has been for me. This recording helped me make cuts in the piano part, figure out the style of the cadenza, and get a general feeling for the piece. Thanks man

Great playing! I saw where a comment said there were misprints in the articulations. I’m glad you found those and honestly it sounds great! Expression and dynamics were good just make sure you don’t cover the piano all the time. Honestly it’s probably the recording and where the camera was placed. Recordings do that at times haha What a great and full tone you have as well! This was very very good! Congrats on a very good performance!

It is good that you play with love for music, German classics should be played a little drier than romantic music, articulation, intonation, phrases are also different. In general, very talented, I wish you success in the future!

I’m playing this right now in 7th grade ( as a summer project ) and this really helps with how I’ll phrase it. Just having some trouble with the cadenza heh, great performance. Also if you have any tips for circular breathing please lmk because czardaz isint the friendliest for uh breathing…. That’s about it, wish me luck on early regional and TMEA lol. You had a great 1st and 3rd variation for this, but I felt 2nd was lacking dynamic contract besides the accents etc. also ignore my name this is my dads account lol😂

Are you sure about that? If you look at the score, there are a bunch of 16th note passages meant to be played staccato. Unless there is an error in your score, you are most probably interpreting the music incorrectly. I suggest you look at another recording.

amazing performance! I did notice, however, that there was not enough dynamic contrast and while your cadenza was played well, at parts the notes were played to fast and were not coming out. Your interpretation really recover my best memories.
