It reminds me that a good tune can sound good on any instrument in any style.

Kudos to whoever wrote this arrangement. You managed to put the Canon in D in every imaginable musical variation and some unimaginable.

Wow! I just ran into this by accident, and was amazed to see players from YSU. I was a guitar major there starting in 1978, and played in an ensemble like this.
So refreshing seeing young folks involved in music.
What inpress me the the most is that these guys are so young. I great to know that the future generation is not just stuck on shallow fouger rap rock.with no essence & delph. But continuals instreumental with with a heart.

Having done lighting and stage management for ballet companies, photographing numerous weddings and attending classical concerts, I grew to dislike this insipid, overplayed piece of music, but the Dana Guitar Quartet saved it for me. Bravo! I hope you four very talented musicians have gone on to make your marks on music.

I belong to Hot Cookies, a uke group. We play Bach annually at his birthday concert. You showed us how to take a classical piece and arrange it in different styles. Kudos. It is harder than it looks, I am sure. Loved the bluegrass! And rock! We plan to do that to Bach next year!

What an awesome piece. My husband, not very musical loves this Canon so much that he insisted the organist play it as an opening at our wedding. You have picked a great piece, and made it more imaginative and lovely than ever.....

As a hold my beer and watch this kind of thing, it's fun! In My opinion the piece was written perfectly long ago. The piece needs nor can be made more perfect by embellishments, updating, nor modern interpretations. Thanks for sharing, it was fun and interesting!

Loved hearing tip of the hat to all the different styles: classical guitar, rock, bluegrass, country, heavy metal(or was it blues?), jazz, Spanish guitar... hmmm...did I miss one?

I could have sworn I heard a reggae beat with mariachi, a theme based on Pac-Man music, a riff that I mentally sang "Money, Money, Money" by the O'Jays to, and Pachebel as it might have been improvised upon by Richie Valens, i.e., hard "La Bamba" influence. Liked the bluegrass...didn't know it was possible on a classical guitar!
