The sleep referring to a state of rest or dead is another misinterpretation. The very popular teaching that one die and immediately go to heaven or hell traces back to Greek philosophy which was adopted by the RCC snd eventually in Protestant churches. folks are shocked because the whole left behind scenario on people's minds misunderstand the passage of Matthew and Luke. The flood came and took away the unbelievers as in the days of Noah so will the coming of the son of man be where they were eating and drinking at it is that Luke 17. they knew not till the flood came and took them away while you think taken away is saved but the meaning in scripture is taken away in judgment. the reason to understand the mindset of the Hebrew when the Hebrews were well-behaved the Jews I got to stay in the promised land when they misbehave the Assyrian came and took them away the Babylonians came and took them away and so the worst judgment would be to be taken away from the promised land and the blessing would be to be able to stay. judgement is taking them away at the end.
The one taken is taken in Judgement because Jesus was asked where Lord? The where is where the body is there will the vultures gather. Vultures will gather and eat the dead bodies; The one left is left to go into the 1000 year mil. This has nothing to do with the rapture. Matt 24 is not the rapture but is the 2nd coming.
Gerard Miller at the last trump is the rest of that scripture which most people that teach a secret rapture do not quote. They only quote one part of this scripture. Before the last trump is blown.... the church goes through great tribulation and only after the tribulation is over is the last trump blown and GODS people are changed in the moment in the twinkling of an eye . The secret rapture teaching came out of the Roman Catholic Church and not from the scriptures .

Sixty angel is again written in chapter 16, and again in chapter 18. It's the same events, in chapter 18v as is in chapter 9. ah yes, leave it to human reasoning to make the story go sideways. 7th week was always planned for the tribulation, whether right after the cross, or after the gospel of grace age. we’re still in the grace period, but it will end when the church (Body of Christ) is raptured. then the tribulation will commence where Gods redemption plan for His chosen people will reestablish their gospel of the kingdom. doesn’t affect us who were saved/sealed the moment we believed. your story will be very interesting when you have to account of your life in front of the Father. no wonder you don’t know the truth, you don’t right divide. the bible was written to us all, but it is not written to us all. all of the scriptures you used were not written to the Body of Christ. Even the elect will be decieved= rapture. So you are telling me Jesus came to simplify salvation only to confuse the believers of a secret rapture
It does not mean that all the elect will be deceived. But some will be deceived.
