I never knew there was any sort of Jewish connection with India until a few months ago. It has increased my respect for India at a time when Indians in Canada are increasingly being blamed collectively for behaviour of a minority of recent immigrants. I know that the West needs India and Indians as an ally in the coming decades as we precent religious extremism from interfering with our ways of life and liberal values.
Both my dad (in the early 1990s) and my sister around 2017 travelled to India to attend weddings for friends. I'd like to one day when it's safer for female travelers.

Not only the Jews , nobody was persecuted in India . That is the greatness of India . Instead , Hindus have been terribly persecuted in their own land during the Muslim rule .
India always was historically known for hospitality to refugees fleeing persecution, including Parsi community, refugees during WW2. Namaste.
