Ancient Israel was a kingdom, not a state. There was no such thing as nation states anywhere in the world until the 1600s when Europeans invented it.

They were a group of kingdoms (hence United Kingdom) brought together under one king. Britons were the Celtic peoples of around the Iron Age. British doesn't mean an ethnic group (after all, we have British Asians etc.). Not unlike Israelis (eg. Arab Israelis - 21% of the population of Israel). So, no, British doesn't really exist. I wanted to learn more about him and was very sad to find that he had passed away just over a year ago. His was a voice we all could have benefitted from.

You also failed to include all of the Arab Jews expelled from Muslim countries, Mizrahi Jews who are native to the area for many years alongside African and Ethiopian Jews who had to flee who are not Ashkenazi Europeans. Moreover, the Arab Muslims who currently live in Israel as citizens.
Personally, I think it's a waste of time to try to legitimize a land claim from thousands of years ago, by either side, when one side lost the war and simply refuses to accept it. Moreover, it's a very strange way to delegitimize immigration which happened quite a LOT in the mid-1800s and onwards with the Great Migration. Not only did Europeans move to new countries, but so too did people from the Middle East move to new countries. New countries were freshly formed in the 40s and beyond.
If an ethnically Chinese person is born in the US, does that not make them American? Should we reclaim their home and land and give it to an indigenous person instead? It is absurd to think so. I will say, however, that the US is pretty clear cut when it comes to European settler colonialism and is a country built up by immigrants so, to be honest, I'm grateful for the clarity.

The Jews, after decades of being violently terrorised and murdered by their Arab neighbours said they'd be willing to accept this proposition and share their one and only tiny homeland IF only it could mean a cessation of Arab attacks on Jewish people finally. Murderous armed robbery is not at all peace. But the following knowledge is KEY to honest and correct understanding of the rights to the land - once the League of Nations was disbanded and the United Nations took its place, the member states of the U.N. agreed to maintain all agreements and " not alter in any manner the rights whatsoever of any states or any peoples or the terms of existing international instruments to which Members of the United Nations may respectively be parties ” (article 80, U.N. Charter). What this means in terms of international law is that it was outright ILLEGAL for the U.N. to make this proposition in the first place, which not only makes it wrongful, but also renders it null and void. Additionally the Arabs vehemently and fiercely rejected the offer, since accepting half of the land is in their eyes a crime punishable by death since it also means affirming the Jewish people's right to the other half of the Jewish homeland, which is completely unacceptable from the Arab standpoint. This is plainly stated in both the Hamas charter and the Palestinian Charter - nothing short of the ENTIRE land being CLEANSED of all Jews will suffice.
