Cave Diving is already a head scratcher but doing it while drunk...that next level Darwin Award begging and unfortunately this guy received his dramatically!
Actually I think doing it drunk is far more understandable if I'm honest.... Drunk people do dumb shit, sober people should know better. I'd have to be practically unconscious to even think about doing something like this..... and I never get that drunk.
Its so crazy i listen now to like 5 storys atleast where people misunderstood this entrance as the wrong and ended up there fatal. This cave looks easy but is hard.
That's why you always use a guide line. But even that one experienced police diver died. I can't believe those 3 other friends of the guy that died made it that far down and back with very little experience.

I chocked on my own vomit to the point of losing consciousness back when I was a teen and tbh I wasn't particularly distressed after de 1 min mark, after the burning feeling in my chest subsided it wasn't particularly unpleasant yes I knew I was gonna die but it was strangely peaceful, I lost my vision first but I could still hear for a little bit longer then it just went quiet and then... lights out, no pain no anything really. When I woke up I felt like shit though like someone poured acid on my chest also greatful to everyone that helped me at the time.

This comment turned out longer than I wanted it but when I first read it can take 2 minutes for a full grown adult to become unconscious from drowning. Idk why I always thought it was somewhat quick but the thought of it taking 2 whole minutes before you pass out made my stomach drop. Even going to wildwood I only walk out to knee level water. I lost my breath in a pool when someone fell on top of me and just those few seconds were wild

Czechs people are known to die in our country unfortunately.. they also try to climb on mountain Velebit in sleepers… so they stuck, slip and die.. they also like swimming to the small island’s thinking they are near.. but water is just playing tricks on you and they die…
To me though, the whole thing is suspicious from the beginning. The group didn't want to do the dive at first, but suddenly change their mind after heavy drinking? I could see a risk taker like the victim doing that, but not necessarily the whole group. Generally, in cases of suicide by knife, there are going to be hesitation wounds. It's hard enough to stab someone else with a fatal blow, even harder to stab one's own self because you flinch in anticipation of the pain. Even harder with being uncoordinated under the effects of alcohol and nitrogen narcosis. The knife was plunged very deep into him, penetrating all his gear and rib cage. His cause of death appeared to be drowning and not the stab wound as his lungs were filled with seawater. Furthermore, the dive group claimed they checked the deep chamber he was found in and didn't find him. I can definitely see why police were perplexed at this case. Some crucial details are missing that would back either suicide or murder.
well one time all my friends said no to xploring and abandoned school but after we drank they all said yes so alcohol was prolly the entire reason that he dead
Yes something weird about the 3 friends making it all the way done and up and not realizing till they got in the boat he was not there . There’s that too plus all you mentioned ..
An album that I would recommend for viewers is called: Caver Diver's greatest hits. If anyone is curious, I almost drowned when I was about 8. I can remember it vividly still. Your lungs feel like they are burning and every muscle inside of you is screaming to take in breath. When you 'inhale' water, its enough to make you realize youre about to go off the waterfall of S*t creek. If you can manage to supress a cough, the previously stated burning kicks in untill you do it again... And again. You eventually get to a point where you either give up or keep trying even though there is no apparent point. (I literally walked toward the light on the bottom of the pool with my eyes closed. Totally random direction. Managed to walk TOWARDS the stairs and a small child half my age, held on to the rail and held her hand out to me and I used her hand to pull myself out of the pool.) I still have a fear of big, open water to this day but I can handle stuff like a lake or pool. My father forced me to take lessons once he saw I was afraid of water and no, he wasnt there I was with other family members at the time.
Omg, I almost drowned in a swimming pool as a kid too. I was 10 and couldn't swim yet. I was trying to teach myself how to do it and wandered too far off into the deeper end of the pool. I tried to synchronize the movement of my arms and legs, so as to stay above the water, but I suddenly went under and started to panic when I realized the water eas deeper than my height. Luckily, I somehow managed to kick my way up onto the surface BEFORE I ran out of breath, so I never inhaled any water. The most alarming thing about it is the fact that it happened at a school field trip - the a*hole teacher didn't pay enough attention to what us kids were doing and she never even saw that I was in distress, so who knows what would have happened if I hadn't managed to surface. Needless to say, I developed a phobia from the ordeal and I have a profound distrust and dislike for all bodies of water.
The way you said it, "after some more adult beverages... They couldn't think of a better way to end their day than exploring a mysterious cave in the dark." 😅 Couldn't quite keep the sarcasm out, huh? I don't think I'd be able to either. It's very sad that people will make these life ending mistakes while drinking when it probably would have been more fun to do this dive in the day time while sober.
Another possibility not mentioned is that perhaps 2 of the other divers had it in for him. One of these other two would carry both dive computers with him, while the other, not wearing his dive computer, followed or lured the target into the depths of the lower chamber to conduct the dastardly deed, then ascend to join the others as though everything was hunky-dory.
Well we gotta get into there personal relationships with each other. How long have they been friends have one been holding onto something anything that can be triggered while drinking was there a love circle hmmm good possibility
Are we drunk? ✔ Do we distrust him? ✔ Do we distrust him more when he's drunk? ✔ Is he drunk enough to be distrusted? ✔ Is this extremely dangerous? ✔ Sounds good. Lets do it 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
i dunno man. if i was taking a polygraph test in an investigation after one of my friends had just died, i think i'd be a little fucked up about the words 'blood' and knife' too.

These cave diving ones usually scare me the most out of your other videos, but this one was super interesting! I wasn’t as scared 😅 and I was really surprised at the evidence and outcome! (Trying not to spoil)❤
I almost drowned in a swimming pool when I was 10 years old. I've had a profound hatred for bodies of water ever since. It's the demons of the Marine Kingdom that tried to kill me.
Nitrogen narcissus isn't fixed by simply swimming to the surface untill it subsides, yes you start to swim to the surface but you have to stop at certain points on the way up for a certain amount of time to allow the Nitrogen bubbles in your blood system to disapate slowly.

When it comes to being unsafe, Czechs are by far the worst, but they're great people. If I had a nickel for every time I told a Czech to not try crossing the distance between two islands on an inflatable mattress, I'd have 4 nickels. Which isnt a lot, but it's weird that it happened even once 😂😂😂
@@filipferencak2717I had simmilar experience when trying to make them give up climbing a mountain in flipflops with small children, at 12 pm on a hot summer day, leaving a trail of Lowenbrau cans behind..
Yes, what's with the Czechs? We in Croatia started joking about them. But it's not funny. So many died. Czechs are not stupid people. Why are you guys so careless?
Such an avoidable tragedy.
Czechs are notorious in Croatia for going sea exploring on air mattress (luftmatratze) or mountain climbing in flip-flops
Hahaha - good one
Yep, I though this was an exaggerated meme...until I literally had to convince multiple Czechs not to do this. 😂
I've seen it🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣people paddling across ports😂😂😂😂😂😂 now i know it was checz
Last I've heard is that they've switched to de-mining Croatian military poligons.
Videos keep getting better and better! Nice work on this. I'm been a critic in the past and this is completely awesome. Great great work
Thanks a ton!
why didn’t anyone consider that he lulled himself? He had a knife on him and he didn’t want to drown to death. He was terrified of it. I imagine he thought death by knife would be better than death by drowning. So he stabbed himself. It’s happened before.
My first thought as well
I think you are right.
yeah i thought that he'd have stabbed himself too.
Because the brain is hardwired for survival. It’s almost impossible to end your own life without being on drugs. Plus you’re not guaranteed to bleed out right away. He could still end up drowning before he dies of the stab wound.
@@Poopydoopy555 lmao tell that to the millions of people who kill themselves daily
I'd be like "Guys, it'll still be there in the morning. Have another adult beverage."🤭🤪🤪
will never cave dive in my life
My twin brother perhaps?
i like (open) caves, i like (open) diving, but never combine the two 😭😭 i still havent gone diving yet but my dad has, as for caving my only 'experience' was when i went in this artificial indoor 'cave' for a bday party when i was a kid and i loved the adventure lmao, we even had head lamps and i almost panicked when i got lost for a second 😭😭
I will never dive , cave dive and or climb mountains into the so called death zone
Oke just one more... gosh this is bloody addictive. Fascinating what ppl dare to do and how much they know about the human body and survival in general. Particularly when they know what they are doing. Thank you for the uploads on this channel.. xx..
Thank you so much, there was still a tiny chance I may go scuba diving at some point, but that graphic description of drowning literally clinched it, never going diving or near water ever again... I may never drink water again after hearing that.
Try scuba diving, its grait, you don't have to go cave diving
I scuba dive all the time and it's great! But I never want to go cave diving and I rarely say never to anything.
Showed that the blood like material found on the boat deck was just red paint. On the boat deck was just red paint.
You would think someone would have marked the exit hole with something by now
That's why you always use a guide line. But even that one experienced police diver died. I can't believe those 3 other friends of the guy that died made it that far down and back with very little experience.
I am Croatian I remember when this happened such a sadness 😔
Being born over there on island , loving swimming but I did learned from older people leave caves alone !!!
These channels will never run out of content
Must have missed it but where did he trick his friends?
The part where he never resurfaced, it’s the ultimate gotcha, you have to respect his commitment
On the boat deck was just red paint.
Awesome feeling when you get off work and there’s a new Mr Deified video
More to come! Enjoy the video :)
I'm Croatian and I've never heard of this. What a chilling story. I googled a bit and sure enough, the cave claimed two more lives ten years later.
The description of drowning made me wanna gasp for air but i was scared id feel water in my lungs.....im sitting in my car.
Great channel man, keep it up
I hate it when these idiots cause the death of a rescue diver.
Drunk cave diving has the same energy as russian roulette with a glock.
You tell these stories the best. I have often wondered how drowning might be. Thank you for that. Be safe my friend 💠
So his worst fear is drowning, yet he chose to dive into an unexplored cave late at night, drunk. The alcohol must have been talking.
It’s amazing the curiosity that one can’t resist. Yet hats off thx to ppl like that some of the most amazing things hv bn found!
“Huh … I’ve plunged into an unbreathable solution, and below me is a dark aperture, no wider than my shoulders, leading deeper into nowhere … I WONDER WHAT’S INSIDE!??”
My brother in Christ, what’s inside is more water and cave. Trust me.
I know this is a tragic topic, but... wth is this title?!😅 "Haha, gotcha!" ded 💀
Tricked his friends
Died
Refused to elaborate
Fears nothing more than drowning.
Goes cave diving at night, drunk.
Without a guide rope
Some people just were not gifted with intelligence.
The niche I never knew I needed 😊
My new favorite channel. Great story telling and graphics.
Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing twist - but you shot yourself in the foot hard not using "SCUBA MURDER CAVE DIVING MYSTERY" as a base for a title...
That would attract murder she wrote fans and theyre not ready for this.
I'm a bit late to the video here, but just want to say hi to you from Croatia, Mr. Deified. I'm surprised and thrilled to see a story featuring my country on your channel. 😊🙌💫
Love your work. 👍
"they couldn't think of a better way to end their night then exploring the dark mysterious cave" lol what?!? Bro, literally anything else.
"Experienced cave diver" sounds more and more like "cave diver who didn't die yet" 😬😱
Czechs people are known to die in our country unfortunately.. they also try to climb on mountain Velebit in sleepers… so they stuck, slip and die.. they also like swimming to the small island’s thinking they are near.. but water is just playing tricks on you and they die…
Fun fact: eating broken glass, and wild bear baiting, are both safer activities than drunken cave diving.
The more you know!
Croatian Adriatic sea's major danger is that its so safe, calm and clear that turists take it for granted, and than shit happens...
Mr Deified could read a happy fairytale and I would be sitting with a foreboding sense of impending doom, a perfect voice for narration.
Who tf says, “damn, I almost died… let’s do it again.” ?!?! 🤨
The thrill of evading death
cave diving is crazyyyy, but drunk cave diving is a whole other level😭😭😭
I'm just glad I've finally found a channel that knows how to pronounce disoriented
Disoriented is the US version.
Disorientated is the British version.
Is that what you mean?
I have 264 hours of cave diving experience of videos on youtube.
Never drink and dive.
I'm never this early! Hope you are doing well Mr Deified!
Morning!
Great content as always my friend! Your hard work is evident
I appreciate that!
Between this and Czechs getting lost on mountains while wearing flip-flops, summers are never dull here.
An album that I would recommend for viewers is called: Caver Diver's greatest hits.
Some of the hits include:
Message in a bottle , The Police
Stuck in a moment, U2
Rescue me, Aretha Franklin
Don't bring me down,ELO
All I need is the air that I breath, The Hollies
In too deep, Genesis
Sugar,We're going down, Fallout boy
May I add one to your list? Radiohead - "The Bends". 😅
Great diagram...helpful! Thank you!
Not sure if i should say i enjoy these tragic videos but they are compelling dramas
Managed to walk TOWARDS the stairs and a small child half my age, held on to the rail and held her hand out to me and I used her hand to pull myself out of the pool.)
I still have a fear of big, open water to this day but I can handle stuff like a lake or pool.
I am watching this and saw the Island of šolta... on which I am currently on...
I thought about this too… smart guy.. I feel this was on purpose…. Dumb alcohol
Well we gotta get into there personal relationships with each other. How long have they been friends have one been holding onto something anything that can be triggered while drinking was there a love circle hmmm good possibility
Greetings from Croatia 🇭🇷🌊
Are we drunk? ✔
Do we distrust him? ✔
Do we distrust him more when he's drunk? ✔
Is he drunk enough to be distrusted? ✔
Is this extremely dangerous? ✔
Sounds good. Lets do it 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
It's a fantastic day when this guy uploads!
You're the best!
i dunno man. if i was taking a polygraph test in an investigation after one of my friends had just died, i think i'd be a little fucked up about the words 'blood' and knife' too.
Diving can be alot of fun. Its a different world down there. Even regular open water diving has its risks. Ive done night dives before and its incredible although wrecks and caves are on my no no list and I will never drink before a dive.
Absolutely adore your channel!
Thank you so much!
Awesome episode!! Thanks for your hard work!
For the mighty algorithm 🍻
Thank you!
Wow, you really brought that narrative to life...im gagging
I’m leaning towards he stabbed himself, rather than some elaborate midnight aquatic murder conspiracy.
Right. Cops were pushing that angle so hard. Guess when your a hammer most things look like a nail.
I love these cave diving videos. It's like having a unlimited source of parents telling you not to cave dive.
I just heard the same story with different names and locations 😮
These cave diving ones usually scare me the most out of your other videos, but this one was super interesting!
I wasn’t as scared 😅 and I was really surprised at the evidence and outcome! (Trying not to spoil)❤
Who the fok cave dives... and who does that tipsy is beyond me... i would never. Its comforting knowing i would never die this way. What a relief
That's pretty awful knowing that the brain is active for up to 20 minutes while drowning. Bad way to go.
I wonder wtf happened..prob he did take his own life with the knife first before drowning
The way you describe drowning makes me never want to go near water again
I almost drowned in a swimming pool when I was 10 years old. I've had a profound hatred for bodies of water ever since. It's the demons of the Marine Kingdom that tried to kill me.
3:31 let's talk about that seagull.!!!!!! 🤣
Nitrogen narcissus isn't fixed by simply swimming to the surface untill it subsides, yes you start to swim to the surface but you have to stop at certain points on the way up for a certain amount of time to allow the Nitrogen bubbles in your blood system to disapate slowly.
