@@AB-dn2bk absolutely it is! Bear down!!!
In this crazy interview market, I've been pre-closed multiple times - we've aligned on salary, bonus, equity and start date. The hiring manager and recruiters have asked me to change my travel to house hunt and get to know to the area with a realtor they set up for me. At the end of the day, I didn't get the offer. Admittedly, each time the HR person was shocked and genuinely felt bad.
Every week the recruiter check in on me and said things looking positive and get back to me next week. But every week there is the update on Friday afternoon , saying he will let me know the following week. Is that his hobby to keep candidates waiting ? So much hesitation to hire me 😢
Goodness, I didn’t get any of those signs on my interview
Hi Ben! I have mixed signals. The hiring manager mentioned the next steps without a specific dates though. The recruiter on the other hand just said they will update me. I sent a thank you note to the hiring manager he responded within 2 mins however it sounded like a general or maybe a polite response. He just said he appreciates the note, thanked me and told me to have a great weekend. What are your opinions?
Even if you sign an agreement letter they still can back out happened to me twice. Excuse was hired within and other closing company, don't believe closing company. both believe was my age. It was after I had to submit my license to put me on payroll. I have no criminal record and never even had adriving ticket.
Finished a final stage, and it’s a week now as they promised but nothing yet. I’m assuming reaching out would mean I’m not a top candidate and kinda reaching but I haven’t gotten any rejection yet. Do you recommend I reach out or something?
I would still politely reach out. It couldn’t hurt you know.
Your videos are good but severely misleading. I watch them to prove myself wrong, but the only thing they are good at is increasing your stress/anxiety. You just can’t know. Accept it and move on with your search.
