I always carry. Why? Because America. 👍
God Bless America.
Good choice.
Excellent! Thank you!
I have the same gun, but I find it a bit heavy, so I usually carry an SP-101 in .357 while in the woods. I carry a S&W Shield in 9mm where human predators are located. All your selection in firearms you named, I own and carry as well! Great choices and thank you for sharing even at 7 years later. I hope you and your family are well these days. Things have change in our country with Biden allowing terrorists into the country, so I will revisit my choices! God Bless!😊
Thank you for watching. This video was made sometime back but it all applies even more today. We are living in a crazy world, crazy times. I have since moved away from the Glocks and have been carrying a Sig P226 Legion for a few years. I no longer live in Connecticut, we moved our homestead to Indiana. A little safer out here!
Great video and explanation. Keep enjoying the outdoors safely!
Thanks, you too.
Excellent video and you made a fine choice in a woods carry gun. I think a 10mm is a great option. I either carry a .357 mag or .44 mag revolver when I am in the woods, but there is nothing wrong with a 10mm.
Scott
Thank you. I like the way it shoots too.
Wow! Can’t go enjoy nature without a yahoo lurking around.
Peace man.
For the woods I carry the 357 mag revolver. Because I have multiple choices of ammo and that's Awsome for being in the woods.
Example I can load it with Light loads like the cci shotshells for snakes n spiders lol. And heavy loads like buffalo bore 180 grain hard cast bullets. In a 4 inch bore you can get 44 mag ballistics out of a 357 which is good just incase I run into a pissed off sasquatch 😂
Good choice.
I never go out in the wilderness without either my RIA 1911 .45 or 3rd Gen. Glock 21
Good choice. Did you know here in Connecticut it's against the law to carry in state parks even if you have a permit.
I am the pistol, Randy
Is the 45.acp rip round any good for bear 🐻 protection?
Well... it will take a few rounds in the right place. This is the reason why I like the 10mm. A bit more power than the 45s in my opinion. This is also depending on what kind of bear we're talking about. Around here I only have to worry about black bear. Grizzly, Kodiak, brown bear would be a very different story.
Thanks for replying, I live in FL 🌞 so we have black bear 🐻,FL panther 🐆,wild boar 🐗, coyotes 🐺, other wildlife, not to mention a wide variety of venemish snakes 🐍, and don't large gaters 🐊,I believe .45 acp is ok 4 woods protection here in FL 🏖️
@@owentorres5278 just remember to always Carry hardcast bullets instead of lead! Lead bullets mushroom out and do not give you a lot of penetration whereas hard cast bullets give you much more penetration if you have to shoot a bear or a wild hog
Guinea pigs: wheek away
Man: nervously looks over right shoulder to make sure big bad boogie guinea is in check while G29 is out. 😅
If you only knew the size bears roaming in that location, you would look over your shoulder also! Thanks for watching.
@@FerreiraHomestead just be sure to have the RC cola ready for one when it visits. 😀 It cant be mad since the polar bear has all the coke.
If a black bear is running directly at you and you shoot it when it is between 5-25 feet away from you, will the bear slow down enough for you to be able to move out of the way?
Depends where you hit it
or maybe 40mm? I never heard of 10mm
Glock - 10mm is correct.
10mm and .40 cal are very similar.
10mm or 9mm I never heard of a 10mm
It is a Glock. Yes it is a 10mm.
You must be a new shooter. 10mm been around for a long time now.
10mm is the parent case for 40 Smith&Wesson
