I hear a lot of people saying it's nearly impossible to leave the house when you have kids (especially a newborn). I'm sure you make it look easy, but it makes me feel like I won't be trapped once baby gets here in March!

I live in Brazil but I’m a current foreign exchange student here in Kansas and I love watching your videos they inspire me a lot! I’ve always find myself enjoying the simpler things and I hate messy things, but I just found out that minimalism is acutely a thing and I’m loving it so much! I can’t wait to have my own house and do this my own way, cause honestly is kinda hard being a minimalist when you live in somebody else’s house! But I’m happy here and I’m doing what I can with myself to be more ethical with the world each day!

Seventh generation dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent are both soooo good natural alternatives! I love in the Midwest, USA I shop @ Whole Foods for my special organic items, Kroger for cheaper produce. ( i stick to the dirty 10 organic items. I can usually find cheaper organic berries @ Kroger: Fresh Thyme for fresh squeezed juice and Earth Fare every once in a while. You’re vlogs are so fun! I hope your little family feels better soon! Your vlogs are so uplifting. Funny how good energy and positive attitude are so infectious! Also, I wanted to mention how much I like your hair smooth. It always looks nice with the curls, but I love the smooth look as much if not better! I clip my hair (to maybe a half inch or so..) every couple of weeks -- so what do I know?? LOL! I don't know why anyone would want to watch someone grocery shopping. However, I have to admit, you make it look so simple and even fun (which I have never had fun grocery shopping) but, again, your positive attitude is infectious. I actually don't mind grocery shopping so much any more. I live in the US and shop mostly at Schnucks (local grocery chain) and ALDI's (a German based grocery). Recently I have been shopping at Fresh Thyme, a more natural grocery store as well. Who would have thought I would now be going to 3 grocery stores - when I could not even stand to go to one! LOL! I think your determination to make everyday a "good day" is wearing off on me. I kind'a wish your videos were available when I was younger. I'm in my 60's now. I think if I would have gotten to know you through your videos back then (and let's face it - you weren't even born yet...) those days would have seemed much less dark to me. If you want to try avoiding packaging at all Amsterdam Market it's really nice. You can try taking your boxes to fill with grains or cereal, I find myself using so much less plastic and cardboard going there.
Another Australian here. I shop all over the place. Aldi for staples. Local family owned businesses for produce and meat. Woolies for stuff not sold at the other places. Local IGA for locally produced milk, bread and honey. Working on reducing packaging and more home cooking but as a working mum that is the thing that has to give some weeks.

I have to say, I’m surprised you don’t do cloth diapering. I’m new so maybe you do and also use the disposable or you explain why you prefer disposable. I was worried about that too. If you did that in the UK you'd be prosecuted for dangerous driving. You'd get a big fine and I think it's 6 points now on your license.
This vlog was so well done! I think I enjoy your vlogs because it gives me a better understanding of HOW you live healthy rather than just talking about it. I’m a young SAHM of two littles and can use all the help and direction I can get! You always inspire me buy healthier food options and think about the products I’m using in my house. I wish we had a Super Store in the US though, healthy/natural options can get expensive over here!
I live in Chicago in US. It’s great culture wise and am very spoiled with having multiple food stores. I have a local Hispanic grocer for produce (majority of our groceries are from there) and then a local spice store where we bring in our own containers and get them filled (love this perk!) and then a co op and farmers market all the time that I get either hard to find stuff or even fresher produce from. Love it! We make almost everything from scratch ❤️

I use seventh generation tablets for the dishwasher! They work great! Target has them and the cartwheel app usually has coupons! I usually shop at our commissary (military) or Aldi, Trader Joe’s!
Gilbert, AZ -- we shop at WinCo, Costco, Sprouts and Trader Joes (mostly) :) Thank goodness they are all close to each other and I can just make a morning of it and not have to run all around town. Happy New Year!

I thought I was the only one who found that very weird. People who are in need of donation do still not want gross things. So I learned not to donate what I myself would not use anymore because of the state the item is in.
People often search for things like this to upcycle, and use for something not food related. If it’s not absolutely trash and can still be used for something, you should consider still donating it to keep it out of the landfill longer.
The way she worded it, made it seem not so bad. Besides, gross is relative and the place she donated it to wouldn’t take it if it was really all that bad.
Love your vlogs. I have a question. Was that a non-stick cookie sheet that you purchased? I know you like to go naturally, but I have a concern about non-stick baking ware and cooking ware. I got rid of my non-stick bundt pan.

I live in Germany and I do almost all my shopping at the farmers market and the naked foods store. I’ve started doing that a year ago and I have reduced my waste (especially plastic) so much thru that. I would highly recommend that to every one that has farmers markets and unpackaged food stores near by :)

I actually really like them and will usually use those or the Seventh Gen diapers if I am not using cloth. It's a bit far from my house but the have great finds there that I can't find anywhere else.
Hi there! I live in North Carolina, NC and I shop at the wholesale stores like Sam's Club and Costco for non-perishables or great produce if a girlfriend wants to split some groceries. Weekly grocery trips are either Aldi, Trader Joe's, or Lidl. I've been trying to eat primarily Keto/paleo for the last few months and that's what has been working for me 🙃

I love the vlogs! I don't have kids but I live with my boyfriend and our closest friends (of which is 10 of us). It's kinda like living with kids with the way they act! I live in North Queensland, Australia and most of our vegetable shopping is done at markets, meats are locally sourced and everything else is from Coles.

I love this video yes more vlogging would be great!! I live in California, I usually go to a grocery store called Winco theres a few in certain areas. I mostly buy vegetables and pasta, all the other grocery stores near by usually have higher prices. I'll go to trader joes for snacks like cheese, crackers and cookies, I have a sweet tooth so I usually buy dates to not over eat on sweets. That giant container of dates looks really yummy!! xoxo

Your hair is so cute!! I'm in the US (North Carolina) and where I live, we had Kroger, which is an amazing grocery store chain, but they all closed down in this area. It was devastating for me because I went there ALL the time! So now I'm lost as far as grocery shopping goes. I've just been trying out other grocery stores in the area. Right now I've been getting them at Aldi which is okay but they don't have everything. I'm so impressed by Superstore, I really wish we had them here.

You should try modern cloth nappies (diapers). They do up just like disposables so easy for everyone. You can buy them with snaps or velcro. Mine lasted through three kids. No safety pins needed. No folding. Mine were made from bamboo or hemp.

I live in Norway, in a small-ish city called Narvik, which is in the third northernmost county, Nordland. We shop all our food and household products at any food store close to us! I am trying to buy more natural and non-toxic products, but there is not much to choose from compared to what your store has. Hopefully this changes soon!
We live in the capital city in Hungary and do our grocery shopping mostly in Lidl and the local organic market. We prefere smaller stores over large hypermarkets where you have to spend half of your day to collect every item on your shopping list

Sarah you have really opened my eyes to why we need to shop ethically. I have since watched the True Cost and can't believe what goes on. I now only buy from sustainable ethical companies and only when something is needed. Thank you so much for opening my eyes to this issue.

I have to say I love your vlogs. They help keep me positive and thankful. I really appreciate that you’re uplifting without flaunting your life. Other youtubers seem to flaunt and it doesn’t help lift me up at all. I’m on a TTC journey and watching you handle your three kids gives me confidence that my husband and I will get there and once we are there we can handle it.

I’m from Portland, OR USA and I mostly shop at Fred Meyer a local grocery store chain and do farmers markets in the non winter months. I am trying to switch over to all natural- low waste alternatives.

I'm always in awe at how composed you are when your kids are crying in the car and you don't look stressed at all...Things are so expensive here in South Africa, going grocery shopping is actually depressing, especially for when you're trying to go the better eco/natural route :( that's why I love seeing your grocery videos they're so exciting!

This vlog was so well done! I think I enjoy your vlogs because it gives me a better understanding of HOW you live healthy rather than just talking about it. I’m a young SAHM of two littles and can use all the help and direction I can get! You always inspire me buy healthier food options and think about the products I’m using in my house. I wish we had a Super Store in the US though, healthy/natural options can get expensive over here!

I live in Chicago in US. It’s great culture wise and am very spoiled with having multiple food stores. I have a local Hispanic grocer for produce (majority of our groceries are from there) and then a local spice store where we bring in our own containers and get them filled (love this perk!) and then a co op and farmers market all the time that I get either hard to find stuff or even fresher produce from. Love it! We make almost everything from scratch ❤️

I use seventh generation tablets for the dishwasher! They work great! Target has them and the cartwheel app usually has coupons! I usually shop at our commissary (military) or Aldi, Trader Joe’s!

I thought I was the only one who found that very weird. People who are in need of donation do still not want gross things. So I learned not to donate what I myself would not use anymore because of the state the item is in.
People often search for things like this to upcycle, and use for something not food related. If it’s not absolutely trash and can still be used for something, you should consider still donating it to keep it out of the landfill longer.
The way she worded it, made it seem not so bad. Besides, gross is relative and the place she donated it to wouldn’t take it if it was really all that bad.

I live in Germany and I do almost all my shopping at the farmers market and the naked foods store. I’ve started doing that a year ago and I have reduced my waste (especially plastic) so much thru that. I would highly recommend that to every one that has farmers markets and unpackaged food stores near by :)

Love watching someone shopping in a store I'm actually familiar with! Superstore is definitely upping their natural foods game, and I love it! Have you tried the PC Green diapers? I actually really like them and will usually use those or the Seventh Gen diapers if I am not using cloth. I live just across the water from you on Vancouver Island and I laugh every time you talk about the weather because I TOTALLY GET IT!
It's weird that its entertaining to watch someone else grocery shop! :) But its so fun to watch! I live in Australia and purely for convenience I shop only at Coles. I'd love to one day look into where the best deals and products are instead of only going to one place but one thing at a time :)

Hi there! I live in North Carolina, NC and I shop at the wholesale stores like Sam's Club and Costco for non-perishables or great produce if a girlfriend wants to split some groceries. Weekly grocery trips are either Aldi, Trader Joe's, or Lidl. I've been trying to eat primarily Keto/paleo for the last few months and that's what has been working for me 🙃

I love this video yes more vlogging would be great!! I live in California, I usually go to a grocery store called Winco theres a few in certain areas. I mostly buy vegetables and pasta, all the other grocery stores near by usually have higher prices. I'll go to trader joes for snacks like cheese, crackers and cookies, I have a sweet tooth so I usually buy dates to not over eat on sweets. That giant container of dates looks really yummy!! xoxo

Your hair is so cute!! I'm in the US (North Carolina) and where I live, we had Kroger, which is an amazing grocery store chain, but they all closed down in this area. It was devastating for me because I went there ALL the time! So now I'm lost as far as grocery shopping goes. I've just been trying out other grocery stores in the area. Right now I've been getting them at Aldi which is okay but they don't have everything. I'm so impressed by Superstore, I really wish we had them here.

You should try modern cloth nappies (diapers). They do up just like disposables so easy for everyone. You can buy them with snaps or velcro. Mine lasted through three kids. No safety pins needed. No folding. Mine were made from bamboo or hemp.

I live in Norway, in a small-ish city called Narvik, which is in the third northernmost county, Nordland. We shop all our food and household products at any food store close to us! I am trying to buy more natural and non-toxic products, but there is not much to choose from compared to what your store has. Hopefully this changes soon!
We live in the capital city in Hungary and do our grocery shopping mostly in Lidl and the local organic market. We prefere smaller stores over large hypermarkets where you have to spend half of your day to collect every item on your shopping list
