Love your videos! Every single one of the cream puffs I have ever had tasted like its been in the fridge for 2 weeks, I hope this one was a lot better!
You're an excellent presenter, and your have a great camara, too. A winning combination for these kind of videos. I'm going to Las Vegas this weekend so your insights were super helpful 👍👍
Wow, the Excalibur. Who would have thought? I’ve stayed there so many times in the past and had gone to the buffet many times and it was always lackluster. Sounds like they’ve made some big improvements.
Thanks, Shin! Derek and Catherine from All You Can Vegas hit the carvery station more, and I think that's the way to go. Also, they got the freshly made crepes, and that also would seem to be the best dessert option. It's too bad the Asian section is so lackluster. They should add more dim sum options like potstickers, shui mai, and steamed buns.
You're definitely on the money. Given a trip without having to vlog for variety I'd definitely stick to the carvery as well. The crepes did look great and I should have gone in on them. Next time. Thanks for watching!
Great review / we plan to go here on our next visit / too bad they did not have chicken fried steak to go with that excellent white gravy which you liked
I need to remember to hit the omelette stations at the various locations. I’ve dined at the Excalibur buffet; it’s quite good, with the deserts being exceptional.
Yes! The omelet station is usually a safe bet for most buffets. And since I love my eggs over medium as opposed to the standard scrambled you see on the buffet line, I always make my way over to the omelet station. Thanks for watching!
Another great review 👍 you are correct salt and pepper is a must for stir fry . But school pizza was my favorite I would trade my milk for more lol . And experiment with key words in your title and description . It's a algorithm thing . Like Excalibur buffet amazing or depressing .
Thank you! I do remember school cafeteria pizza fondly, but man the doughy crust is hard now when I've developed such a love for thinner, crisper crusts. And thank you for the tip! I'll try it now with this video!
Nice review Shin. A couple of misses in the food department, but over all it looks pretty good for the reasonable price. That caramel cheesecake looked divine. Thanks for another honest review.
Hi Shin! I've asked before but now that you've revisited the Excalibur buffet, who has the best "value" buffet? Garden Buffet, Circus Circus or Excalibur? I'd love your opinion. 😊
The brisket looked really good! I was born in south- so fried chicken n bread pudding are right up my alley. In louisiana they do a bourbon sauce on bread pudding. I imagine you’d like Cajun type New Orleans food.
The brisket was great! I've never been to New Orleans but I would love to go eventually. Southern and creole cooking are definitely up my alley. Thanks for watching!
It was weird, there are definitely some items where the seasoning is truly on point. But then you run across something like the wok fried veggies and all you taste is oil and whatever flavor of the vegetable that hasn't been cooked out. Most buffets have hits and misses, but for the price Excalibur has a solid number of options that are really good. Thanks for watching!
Oh yeah, brunch buffet at the South Point is really great, but only available weekends and man, the line starts to get pretty long after about 10am. Great call out though! Thanks for watching!
They do indeed have gluten free options. Plenty of standard breakfast items like bacon, eggs and sausage. The dessert section also had a small offering of gluten free options.
Every time I go to a cheaper buffet I end up regretting not forking over more for a buffet like the bacchanal buffet. The cheaper buffets usually have the most basic stuff that feels overpriced once you think about what you paid for.
That's a fair point, you do get what you pay for. Bacchanal is literally double the price for brunch. I do personally think it's more than twice as good though. But for the price, I like the Excalibur brunch because it has a real carvery with good choices. The brisket is genuinely tasty. The crepe station rivals any of the big buffets. I do like eating there. Thanks for watching!
Oh yeah, Vegas prices skyrocketed post pandemic. Well, I guess all prices have skyrocketed since the pandemic. It's crazy how expensive some stuff has gotten here. But 40 million people a year are still coming through and Vegas seems as busy as ever so I guess it's not affecting it too much. Thanks for watching!
I love how honest you are really refreshing
Just trying to tell it like it is! Glad you enjoyed. Thanks for watching!
Great review as always! Thank you for sharing your experience!
Thanks man!
Very good food review! Thank you for taking us along with you.
Thank you for watching! Glad you enjoyed!
Love your videos! Every single one of the cream puffs I have ever had tasted like its been in the fridge for 2 weeks, I hope this one was a lot better!
I hope so too! No one wants old cream puffs. Thanks for watching!
You're an excellent presenter, and your have a great camara, too. A winning combination for these kind of videos. I'm going to Las Vegas this weekend so your insights were super helpful 👍👍
Thank you very much! Enjoy your trip!
Long time no see. Yup, only 2 wks. Lol. Thanks for sharing. Again so precise. Stay safe.
Yeah, I came down with the flu for the last week and a half-ish so I wasn't able to get a video out last Saturday. Thanks for watching!
Nice review 👌
Ty.
Thank you very much!
Love how much you enjoy it. Keep up the good work
Thank you very much!
You do a great job describing seasonings and textures.
Thank you!
Absolutely agree! Keep up the good work, Mr Shin!
Nice review. Thanks and take care.
Thank you!
I was there on Sunday over Memorial Day weekend. We ate at the AYCE buffet and Excalibur and honestly my favorite was Excalibur.
They both rank highly for me, glad you had a good time! Thanks for watching!
Wow, the Excalibur. Who would have thought? I’ve stayed there so many times in the past and had gone to the buffet many times and it was always lackluster. Sounds like they’ve made some big improvements.
Last time I went was about 2 years ago at this point. I'm curious how it is nowadays. Thanks for watching!

Thank you Claire!
I have to stop watching your videos when I'm hungry 😂
Lmao!! I still appreciate you watching!
Great review / we plan to go here on our next visit / too bad they did not have chicken fried steak to go with that excellent white gravy which you liked
The addition of a good chicken fried steak for that gravy to smother would be a dream! Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy your trip!

WTG Shinster. Another good video big guy.
Thank you mafatone!
Nice buffet selection 👍
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
Never been..but will give it a try...looks pretty good..👍👍
The Excalibur buffet is definitely my favorite budget buffet on the strip. I enjoy my visits there. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin ❤️
Awesome as usual.
Thank you very much!
Those cream puffs look delicious.
It was really good!
Nice review Shin. A couple of misses in the food department, but over all it looks pretty good for the reasonable price. That caramel cheesecake looked divine. Thanks for another honest review.
It's a very solid buffet in the price tier for the strip. Thanks for watching!
Great!!
Chicken Noodle sounded good yes. Two years later. It's around $50 now.
Omg really? I haven't been back to the Excalibur since the making of this video. I can't believe it's $50 now. Crazy. Thanks for watching!
Hi Shin! I've asked before but now that you've revisited the Excalibur buffet, who has the best "value" buffet? Garden Buffet, Circus Circus or Excalibur? I'd love your opinion. 😊
For brunch hands down I'd be going to the Excalibur. For dinner, I'd go to Garden Buffet. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin completely agree!
I'm curious....do you live in Vegas? Your vids are really good. I subscribed a couple of days ago and will continue to watch. ;-)
Hi, yes I am a resident of Las Vegas! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos and I appreciate you subscribing!
Activate the dessert stomach 🤣Got to remember that one.
We all have one! We've all activated it before! LMAO! Thanks for watching!
its not a bad buffette i likr the bisquit and gravy the best ty as always
I genuinely love the biscuits and gravy here for sure, thanks!
The brisket looked really good!
I was born in south- so fried chicken n bread pudding are right up my alley. In louisiana they do a bourbon sauce on bread pudding. I imagine you’d like Cajun type New Orleans food.

Yum! 😋
It was pretty damn good!
You should have put some of that delicious gravy on the potatoes.
Genius idea! I definitely should have!
What is different on weekends so they have better food on weekends I mean price difference
There is no discernable difference from what I could tell. They charge more because there are more people who are there to spend money
I like a little Makers Mark drizzled over my bread pudding
Aww yeahhh! That's genius!
i wonder if its all low sodium/bland for the older folks that eat there? but i agree, you need flavor.
It was weird, there are definitely some items where the seasoning is truly on point. thats a good review....
Thanks Rob! Glad you enjoyed!
wish i live near Vegas, there're no decent buffets in my area.
It's a blessing and a curse for sure haha. Waistline constantly expanding, value and deliciousness rising. Thanks for watching!
Try out South Point Casino's prime rib brunch buffet. It's 23.00 if you get a players card. It destroys Excalibur and costs even less.

@@VegaswithShin Thank you. I enjoy your vidios. Keep them comming.
I’ve never eaten there but I hear it’s pretty good
It's honestly my pick for a budget brunch buffet. The carvery is surprisingly good for the price. Thanks for watching!

thought they would have more of a meat selection
It's definitely a bit of a reserved carvery for sure.
Worth it if you use the myvegas bogo, but I think it's overpriced otherwise.
Good call out with the myvegas Bogo. But that reward is almost always sold out which is unfortunate. Thanks for watching!
B4 the "BAT-VIRUS" $21.99 was Bellagio Weekday Lunch Buffet prices. Now Everyone is about $8-$20 Higher for the Same thing!! 😠🤔
Oh yeah, Vegas prices skyrocketed post pandemic. Well, I guess all prices have skyrocketed since the pandemic. It's crazy how expensive some stuff has gotten here. Why does no one in Vegas use soy sauce or duck sauce?
Too much salt for the desert
@@VegaswithShin Good point lol
Buffet chicken is usually underdone and tough.
Yeah, tough one to get right for a buffet. Thanks for watching!
so the Asian section....only Chinese ? yea Lackluster.... no sushi no Thai no Malaysian...
They did have sushi but sometimes I'm just a little weary of eating it from a buffet
