That porchetta looked so good. If I ever go there I’m going to get it. That prime rib looked like one you would get in a restaurant. I’ve never seen anyone get a cut like that at a buffet.

I went to Palms on Wed at 4:30pm last month Jan 2023 to play $40 freeplay. Since I was there and there was no line to get on waitlist for Lobster Night and no longer have to prepay, I signed up and they said they would page me in 3 hours to be able to stand in line. I normally play and stay at ParkMGM with food comps so this was the only meal that I expected to pay out of pocket. I wasn't expecting to win anything with the $40 freeplay. But boy I was wrong. Sat on a machine, hit a bonus right away and won $100 and then hit the bonus again for $1600 handpay. Drove to Chase ATM to deposit $1000 and went to Bellagio to gamble $400 which only lasted me 1 hour play. Drove back to Palms with $200 in my pocket at 6:15pm and got text that my table was ready. Stood in line for another 40 minutes and got seated at 7:15pm. I didn't think I would have an appetite for AYCE Lobster, but boy I was wrong. Ate 8 whole lobsters and 8 tails. It was so good.
WHAT?! That's AWESOME! Sounds like they've updated their queuing system for the lobster night which is great. And those are some spectacular winnings! Congratulations!

OMG I heard from someone yesterday that the line was absolutely insane. I guess people wanted to wait to see how it was because the debut night was not busy in the slightest. Hopefully it'll become more reasonable as weeks pass and people have had a chance to try it out.
Another great video 👍 I'm thinking I'd like to take my dad for prime rib night do to the fact he's older how long is the line wait usually at Palms just trying to get an idea its hard to him to stand to long

Yes, much has changed since they opened a year ago. They've gotten rid of their weekday breakfast/lunch service and only dinner hours remain. Brunch is only available on weekends at $33 but comes with unlimited mimosas. I think it's actually a really solid brunch buffet for the price and I have a video on it you may want to check out. Not really a buffet person but everything looks delicious. Hope A.Y.C.E. and The Palms does well. I don't think that Silverton has brought their Seasons buffet back yet but they did have a lobster night that was under $30. You might want to keep an eye out to see if they bring it back.
I also hope the AYCE does well. I really enjoy myself there. And I'm definitely keeping close to the pulse on any buffets that may reopen their doors. I hope more open up this year. Thanks for watching!
@@VegaswithShin If I was paying out of pocket without comps, I would choose Wed Lobster Night at Palms over Bacchanal or Bellagio or Wynn all the time.
Hey Shin, I’ll be coming in August and was wondering if you’ve heard anything new about the wait times for lobster nights? Trying to decide what time to get there.
I hear it's still quite long, but they have implemented a system where for the first 100 people in line they'll take down your phone number and let you prepay to return when they open for dinner. I'm going to head there for Tim Ho Wan this week so I'll try and plan for Wednesday and see when abouts people first start to line up.
OK, I just scoped it out. It's currently 2:30pm and the line extends into the theater. At least 200-300 people in line already if not more. Person in the front told me they got there at 11am. Absolute insanity
This Buffet is basically a copy of the one they have here in Southern California. Since they are owned by the San Manuel tribe. It's the same offerings here at the Yamavaa formely San Manuel casino.
That's good to know! I know the San Manuel tribe took over the Palms, and speaking with some of the staff seems like they're already doing a great job. I used to gamble at San Manuel all the time when I went to university in Riverside. Haven't been there since they changed names. Maybe I'll check out their lobster buffet one day. You should be plenty fine walking in for now. There was no line at 6pm on the debut of lobster night and when I finished dinner around 8pm on Friday for prime rib night there was also no line. But we'll see how things are in a couple of months. I think word will get out that this is the best buffet in town for the money. Thanks for watching!
Hearing the wait in line is about 4 hours, what was your wait time to get in. Since the lobster buffet is only from 4-9 pm is there even enough time to eat $65 worth of lobster?
Oh yeah. The lines are insane now. I guess the first week when I went, people didn't know what to expect so even at 6pm there was no line. But word got out and the lines have been 4 hours every week since. The line does move though as you're limited to 2 hours in the buffet. Your best bet is to try and get there around 3pm to be one of the first in line. Good luck!
@@VegaswithShin we went to the regular buffet last night just to knock all the regular items out of the way. So when we do make it for lobster night, that’s all we will eat. Thanks for the video.

Went on a Wednesday seafood night. Opens at 4:00pm till 9:00pm. Got there at 4:17pm today (5/11/22) and the line was already like a black Friday at best buy back in the early 2000s. Expect to wait 2-3 hrs just to consume food. If you are desperate to wait that long because it's only $65 for cheaply prepared lobsters then this is a good opportunity.
